- What happens when you happen to run into the better half of the The Okay Crawdad band in the Oklahoma panhandle after 6 months without playing together? This slightly rough and certifiably frigid run at Daniel Johnston’s ‘Tear’s, Stupid Tears’, that’s what. Grant is an amazing mutil-instrumentalist and singer, and if you’ve heard a high harmony or bass note on our records, that’s all his fault. We recorded this tune on “Lonely Like Me” (stream that sucker on all available platforms!) and its a song I’d always dreamed of being able to do justice. Dan’s music means the world to me, his art and songs found me at a key time in life, and I hope you enjoy us sniffling in cold to it. Happy Covid holiday from us on the Great Plains*~

If you acknowledge Covid-19 exists but skeptical we needed masks, here’s an Oxford article about droplet distribution, we’re both living in high risk areas and haven’t tested ourselves recently, so Grant and I agreed it was smart to avoid spraying eachother while we belted this sucker out.
