So another long road trip into to heart of Indian subcontinent.
We went in to explore the far-away hill station of Darjeeling.
The famous summer destination since the British Era

Itinerary:
15/06/2024 - Delhi to Muzafarpur (Bihar)
Total Time - 17 Hours (01:30 to 18:30 )
Drive Time: 17 Hours
Total Distance - 1170 Kms (via Patna)
Route: Delhi - Agra - Lucknow - Buxar - Patna - Muzaffarpur

Day 2:
Muzaffarpur to Darjeeling
Total Distance - 410 Kms
Time - 8-9 Hours
Route: Muzaffarpur - Darbhanga - Araria - Thakurgunj - Naxalbari - Darjeeling
Day 3:
Visit to Darjeeling city
Chowrasta
Darjeeling Mall Road
Glenary's Bakers
Darjeeling Nagar Palika
The Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park ( Darjeeling zoo )
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
Day 4:
a quest to complete our ride on Himalayan toy train. We started our Journey towards Darjeeling to Board this engineering marvel & then towards Tinchulay
Day 5: Exploring the Rural Darjeeling, Teesta Bazaar, Tinchuley, Lamahatta.
Day 6: Darjeeling to Siliguri (Stay At Royal Sarovar Portico)
Day 7 & 8: Siliguri to Muzzafarpur via Naxalbari, in search of best darjeeling tea
Day 8 & 9: Journey back Home: Muzzafarpur to Delhi

@@roads2nirvana its ok-ok. Neither good or bad. Some stretches are still under construction. But manageable

@@Subratdash2001 nothing yet. Initial impressions are good. Just don't follow social media influencers blindly. It might be a good car but mahindra is famous to test new cars on customers and then improve. Let the car come in market first and "real user" drive it first.
Why do you complain? Your previous car was Scorpio and even after knowing all the shortcomings of this car, you've opted to buy the same car again.
@@GoodSamaritanGoodSamaritan i am complaining because things are suppose to improve with time. But with these emission norms, unnecessary electronics and overloaded taxes, age limits, cars now a days are becoming more prone to defects and critical failures. I complain coz I invested my hard earned money in it and I complain so that others can be cautious and be prepared if something goes wrong.

@@GoodSamaritanGoodSamaritan Yes sir i read it. But Please also read the point "age limit" in my comment. In Delhi life of a diesel vehicle is 10 year. Without our will we have to purchase new car and dispose off our perfectly good vehicle. Is it fair?? I had no other option but to sell my old scorpio. Now there are limited options for my requirements. Scorpio-n was the only vehicle in my budget with 4x4 and Space. With 21 lacs spent on a car, i think i can have some expectations. I am not a paid influencer. If something is good I say it, if not then i won't hide. I'll say it again, BS6, DEF, DPF, too much electronics are taking the fun and reliability out of car... that's my opinion and might differ from yours. No hard feelings ✌️.
