I’m sorry that you’re struggling with UA-cam forcing ads - it’s really not fair that they don’t listen to creators enough. What I do is play the UA-cam video on my iPad before bed and then set a timer for one hour (I’m usually asleep within this time) and set the timer to “stop playing”. This closes the video after an hour, and I never get woken up by ads. This also works if you’re watching a streaming service or other video app. Hopefully this helps someone.
Im actually really loving the length and the sounds of rain and thunder, i wake back up multiple times throughout the night and it was really soothing to hear it and it would help me fall back asleep. Thanks for the story, very cosy!!
Wow, really great sleep or just relaxing story. Better than any sleep aids (ie, NyQuil, lunesta, etc.). I only got to the eating stew & I was so relaxed. Minutes into it. I think you helped way more people than you think. 👍 Just wish there was more of a storyline after a good length of rain fall. Had to rewind a few times. But i get the whole rain fall for hours. Set the story & hopefully your asleep by end of story. Very well done though. Storm, thunder, rain, crackling fire place, etc. 😊😊😊

i am so grateful for your channel. truly, it may sound corny but i don't think you'll know how much it helped me. i will share here a cute story : last week i was visiting my boyfriend in Paris (i live in the south of france and in september i will move to paris for my studies). the last night of my stay i had a panic attack (i often have these). he was there for me and really reassured me but i couldn't breathe properly and needed to calm down. and while i was panicking i remembered your videos and how they help me fall asleep, the harry potter ones. so i started to tell him how now, whenever i am stressed or sad, i imagine myself in your harry potter meditations, especially the one in hagrid's hut, and i started to tell him about harry potter (he'd never seen the movies or read the books). it really really calmed me down and helped me fall asleep in his arms. now a week later i just finished watching the first harry potter movie with him on youtube (i am back to my home so we watch long distance) and i feel so happy and grateful for my boyfriend and your videos. i wish you all the best !! (p.s: if you have an idea for a game of thrones one, i would really love to hear it !! alhtought the universe is not as calming !!)
Just wanted to say that I love the background sounds added to this one, I both fell asleep and woke up this morning feeling peaceful listening to it. Normally I tend to wake up with anxiety, so this was a nice change of pace for me, thank you!

@SleepyCatMeditations I LOVE your work, but like several people, loathe the sound of ticking clocks which induce anxiety in several people. I wanted to love this one so much but when I awoke the sound of the loud ticking mixed into a perfect blend of rain/thunder I had to again turn it off immediately in the night. Just something to consider that many people don’t tolerate that sound.

I'm wondering if UA-cam's new advert policy of mandatory ads at the end of every video applies to older, shorter videos as well? More to the point, if people choose to listen to the older, shorter videos, can we trust that we will not be rudely awakened by loud adverts at the end? You have such an incredible body of work. It would be a shame if ads were placed on your earlier works, where they previously did not exist, thus defeating the whole point and purpose of the videos.

As far as I am aware, the new advert policy only applies to videos posted after the change (November 2023!) ☺️
Whew, that's good! There are many old favorites I have wanted to play again, but have hesitated doing so for fear of being awakened by ads at the end.
