I´m a little shook that this is not a huge deal in the US. I live in Norway, and we have brow salons all over the country that does this kind of technique! But i am so happy this is spreading, it gives amazing results.

This is awesome. As a tattooist I don't do tattoos on the brows. The face changes, styles change as you mentioned. Breaks my heart to look at young girls getting large eyebrows done. This is perfect.

Yup. I do it with hair dye. For YEARS. I normally have kind of thin, blonde brows and now I'm getting some greys! I dye them a neutral brown and it is truly life-changing. SO nice to be able to skip that 5 minute process of filling them in!

I’ve been getting my brows tinted about 2 years now and I love it. One rule to make them last longer is too make sure when you wash your face you’re careful around your brows so I use a Q-tip around them.

Karolin M. What dye do you use for the hairline?
Sometimes I use KHADI NATURAL HERBAL HAIR COLORS (it's a powder and it has beneficial effect for your hair) and sometimes I use Refectocil gel tint(better color range and it's easier to use). I also use Dalia Brow tint (it's a polish brand available on Amazon).

I am absolutely amazed at the results! The brows look so amazing and I feel inspired to want to go to beauty school just to do this. When I look at some of the people I know who have brows that just are crazy to me, but I always imagine what their brows would look if I did it for them lol.
I had my brows powdered tattoo’d about 1.5 years ago and love my results! They look so natural and unlike microblading where they do individual lines, it’s more like this look you got with the tint. I’m still not even close to needing a touchup yet but if you are in the Portland Oregon area or will be, see Jien King and tell her I sent you. She’s got a long waiting list but it’s well worth it.

The disclaimer is actually surprising.I brought Etude House Tint My Brows (Korean line) and the results were temporary for a couple of days. I liked how it looked but got very tired redoing them.
I looked into microblading because it was trending at the time and was hesitant because I got my eyebrows tattoo (from overplucking and never grew back properly) decades ago and they have faded since. Fast forward Summer 2016, I LOVED the results. HOWEVER, when it started to "fade" a year later because I have oily skin it wasn't a good look because of missing hair strokes 😛. I went back to get a touch up but my brow girl convinced me to get powered brows instead because it heals better for oily skin types and has the "makeup" look each time you wake up in the morning😎.

Im a hairstylist from Germany and brow AND lash tinting is like the most normal thing to do here i do it so many times a day just make sure you go to a good place some people just slap the dye all over the brow not considering it stains the skin as well and then the client ends up with a funky shape. I literally do it the same technique she did on you i like take forever with it but it the results so worth it 🙈

I tint my brow at home with men's beard hair dye if its safe for the braced hairs then its safe for the brow hairs right it only take 5-7 minutes
How long does it last? I use hair dye and it doesn't last long.
When i do it it lasts for a few weeks but it takes no time at all to do so sometimes i touch up before then

Beard dye really works! I wash my face thoroughly every day and it lasts about a week. I'd rather spend 10min tinting my brows than spend 20min every day drawing my brows

You can tint your brow by yourself with Korean product. They have lots of shades and easy to apply. I recommend it :D

Natalie Y I used to use just for men, now I use refectocil. You can buy it on amazon. The longer you leave it on the darker it gets. Also it looks dark at first but fades quickly, and last at least 2 weeks or more.
