Oh my! I have my Mercury retrograde in Pisces in 7th house which I’ve never even thought about as being related to adding to the mental confusion I often struggle with when it comes to understanding other people! I often feel kind of alien to others and their behaviours and thinking. Thank you Joe for kicking in the download as always! X
I have Venus retrograde, it's a conjunction of sun mars and Venus in Capricorn. I feel like whatever you said is true but it's not easy to love yourself among all other things. I have saturn in Pisces in the 10th house so yeah work life is shit along with Venus.
I also have venus retrograde in scorpio and in my case, I had no problem being single all my life, im 29 now. I think having venus retrograde in my chart contributed to my fear of falling in love and giving my heart completely to others. I realized that I have problems with commitment. I dont think I deserve to be loved deeply by anyone. I often think that my fear of commitment will just make things worse.
I believe the whole point of being born with certain placements is to overcome them. What you feel is very much normal in most cases for many us honestly, but I know that those born under a Rx it can be much more difficult. Being aware of our setbacks is SUCH A HUGE first step in healing that fear, insecurity, etc… As a Scorpio rising I understand the commitment stuff, plus having my Moon conjunct Chiron doesn’t help in the 8th for me, but I do know that finding someone who gets the issues, and maybe even knows astrology is key! I also think the expectations of relationships can be super whack these days. So many think after a year of dating they need to get married. Many people just want to love each other and not even think of marriage. I think it’s those who are always worrying about the long term commitment game that make themselves crazy! I used to be that way, and the sooner I learned to just flow with dating and also have a partner that understood that and felt that on their end, always made my relationships better and easier.
They don't. It's just most gay individuals go through a period typically early in life where they have to repress how they truly feel regarding love to avoid the fact that we still live in a shame based culture against same sex anything. I've seen a lot of Venus Rx placements in those gay, which is why I mentioned it, but absolutely not exclusive to those gay of course.
@joetheodoreastro could you describe venus retrograde in Capricorn in the 6th conjunct 7th house, with venus square my moon conjunct Saturn in Aries? Please help. I've been trying to understand this placement for years.

Glad it was helpful!

Also why do they have to be gay?
