Hahah glad you feel the same way, reality is it is tiring to shift and shift often but always better to look at the positive side rather than the problematic one so definitely excited to start afresh!
I got it from a Rajasthan based seller called Best of Exports. WHile product is good, the seller communication, timelines etc is not great. Would advice your discretion in case you plan to order with them
Really life throws surprises at us... I'm sure You'll be missing this beautifully decorated Goa home... But as you mentioned, Banglore would bring in new opportunities for your creativity... Good luck dear... 😊
Thank you so much, while the chair quality is good, the process to order, pay, follow-up and delivery timelines were not very professional so personally I would not recommend but if you still are interested it is from a business based in Rajasthan called Best of Exports
Bought from a shop in Goa, found similar products on Amazon as well. Chk them out here - www.amazon.in/shop/nestartfully/list/18ZXW2I0N9WLZ?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d

Welcome to namma Bengaluru 🌷 you're a plant lover n there's hardly any plant that doesn't thrive in our city. You're gonna love the naturally AC weather after the humidity of coast. Looking forward to new DIYs here
Yes I consider Bangalore home because I've lived here the longest outside my hometown and one of the main reasons I love it for is the greenery and amazing nurseries... I used to go a plant nursery every time I felt stressed :) Currently we are here and my Goa plants and I am taking a time to adjust to the cold after the heat!
Hey Anusha....Moving to a new place is a new adventure 🧳I wish this turns out to be magical🪄 to you 😊....your house has been loving restored in a wonderful way and it is such a great insight...👍

We made very subtle changes, with regards to adding open wall shelves that we diy-ed in the living /dining areas and kitchen, plus adding our own wall/ceiling lamps, and investing in our own choice of curtains and blinds, with it being a rented home we did not want to make any major changes but what we did, served us well :) and our neighbors as well as our landlord were really surprised we did all this in the time to a rented premise :)

I do have a question. For a rented house, is it necessary to spend money on furnitures and wall decorations because when moving to some other place. That furniture may not fit properly or may not look good. I think investing on interior decorations is a total waste of money. Because I too live in a rented house in Goa. It is a very valid concern you have, past five years we lived in pre-furnished homes that we rented because we knew we were going to keep moving. In Goa we had long term plans but that changed and now we have to figure fitting our furniture into our Bangalore home, definitely a bit of a challenge but have to deal with it. Personally i would advice people who know they will be nomadic to invest minimum in big or heavy furniture and to instead buy second hand, thrift or go the diy way for both decor as well as furniture. Being back in India with our own home that is empty (we sold everything when we left) I felt more confident in actually buying our own stuff. But each person has to look at their own circumstances and make the decision.
Having lived in my own aptmnt for arnd 12yrs now, i feel its so much wastage of time, money n effort to do interior designing of a rented space... you are going to move out eventually! There are so many custom size furniture n stuff that ive had to get built for my aptmnt but it was worth it coz its going to stay there n money isnt wasted
well thats certainly one way of looking at it but what about those forced to stay for decades in a rented house , i think where you live rented or otherwise should feel like home, and i think each person should have the choice to do what makes them happy, yes agreed for some the ideal decision is to live on bare basics in a rented place but for me that doesn't work. i dont want to wait for that perfect tomorrow I want my today here and now to feel like home
The sun streaming in to the room is just gorgeous! And that terrace ❤️
I know that was my favourite part too the terrace and that gorgeous morning light 😀

How to hang the shelf above tv. Looks like just a simple wooden piece
Yes, it is something we did ourselves, just a plank of pine wood that we painted white and put up on the wall using wall brackets.
