My grocery store garden center is having a huge clearance sale. $5 perrenials on for 94 cents and $13 perrenials on for $1.94 😮. Sale started yesterday so I hope there is stuff leftover. Going this morning after I drop my son at school 😂.
I filled my car with plants and a $10 container of slow release fertilizer for $29 🤣😂. I got 4 hosta, 2 perennial Salvia(meadow sage), 2 thrift, 1 saxifraga, 2 maiden pinks, 1 monarda and a bunch of annual. 4" annuals and perennials were 54 cents each and 6" perennials $1.54 😁. No proven winner varieties but still nice. Next week all the shrubs go on sale so maybe get me some proven winner hydrangea 😁
WOW what a deal you got! I will not pay full price for PW either. Sure wish I could find som $3 ones! I don’t normally put annuals out but this year I found white and pink big leaf begonias, impatiens for $5/FLAT 😮 I bought them! I also got some 1 qt pots for $1
It's good that you keep your garden problems in perspective when considering the condition of so many people in our world. I know how disheartening it can be when our time and effort in our garden is disrupted by the bunnies, deer and raccoons. Your garden is lovely, no matter what occurs.
Jes I think this might be my new favorite area! I love the look of the hill garden!! It is such a pleasing mixture of color, textures and heights. You are so much fun to watch - and listen to your songs! Keep up the beautiful work!
Those lavender color plants are beautiful. I put my delphiniums in a pot where the bunnies can't get them. They destroyed the last ones I had in ground and I wanted to enjoy these. These are small bright blue called Summer Nights. In Sept I'll put them in ground to Winter over and cover (with gallon milk jugs) so they can take root before Winter and bunnies can't eat them.
Jes I Love your Plant Haul! You are Soo Lucky to have Proven Winners in your area. I Struggle Finding them in Arizona. The Plant Bed is Going to Look Beautiful. I Love your placement! Yes, The Bunnies are Probably Keeping an Eye on YOU!! 🐇🐇🐰🐰Prayers 🙏🙏 they have found a SMORGASBORD in another Yard!! 🥴🥴 You Great Attitude Makes it ALL Better!! Love & Hugs from Yuma, Arizona 🙏🙏🥰♥️🌺🌸🌿🪻🪴🐾🐾🐇🐰
I tried using Irish Spring soap.. weird thing happened... I came out and something had eaten it and taken a bunch of it.. turned out it was raccoons. They like Irish Spring. I've also heard it doesn't work, but you can try.. Hope the raccoons don't eat it and take it..
Hi Jes, your plants look beautiful. That will look even more prettier when it all gets filled in. Wish our garden centers would run a sale, everything top dollar so crazy. Praying the bunnies won't be back. ❤ Max has gotten so so big absolutely beautiful he is. 😊❤ until next time God's blessings 😊❤ love ya
Try Liquid fence deer and rabbit repellent spray it really smells ugh! But…IT REALLY WORK. I’ve been using it for a couple years. I enjoy your videos keep up the great work 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
WOW I wish I lived close to that place!!! beautiful & great prices!! I just had a bunch of beautiful hosta's eaten by rabbits or deer, need to spray!! so upset! where do you get your siberian iris, I love them so much!!!! LOL so nice of you to plant some more food for the bunnies!! NOT!!! ❤
Rabbits ate my daisies! They also bit off all my geranium flowers but didn't eat them!!! Very unhappy. Irish spring soap works but it has to be the original sented one.
Victoria Blue is listed as an annual here in southern Ontario Canada. Love it so will see if it might come back. The purple salvia you bought is a perennial here (zone 6). Love your videos Jes.
The bunny 🐰 in my area likes my coneflowers. Little stinker… I just keep planting more and I make little rings of chicken wire to go around the bottom of my dahlias and will be trying it with the coneflowers too. I use Plantskydd and Irish spring soap around my hostas.
I plant the same salvia that you got every year, because the hummingbirds love it,for the first time it has come back for me,I live in zone 6a Pennsylvania.
Sorry Jes, the Rockin salvias don't come back for me in zone 7B. I don't have bunnies, thank heavens, but I do get the occasional groundhog that I chase away. I make it a point to plant things they hate to deter them.
I have the Black and Blue Salvia. The hummingbirds love it, and I can’t get rid of it no matter what. 😂 I’m in zone 7B. You can get a big screen thing that pins into the ground to put over those zinnias and then just keep them sprayed or put cayenne pepper or garlic powder on the ground around everything. We use marigolds a lot to deter critters and it works most of the time. They hate the smell.
Jes, I appreciate your videos so much. They have been so helpful and encouraging to me as a learning gardener. Ever since I first saw your small shovel you are using in this episode, I knew I needed one. Do you know where I might find one and what it is officially called? Thanks again for all you do. Congrats to the wedding couple and God bless your entire family!
I start my seeds much earlier than you, for this exact reason. if they only have a couple sets of true leaves when i plant them, they are goners. All my seeds get started in January. My geraniums i actually start in November because they make great houseplants, and can be used for some of my gardener friends as christmas presents....win win!
I have learned with decades of gardening that anything the bunnies eat I don’t replace. I have spent far too many gardening dollars feeding the rabbits
Wow Jes, what a beautiful plant haul and holy cow if I lived by that nursery I 'd be running there as fast as I could for those prices !! Where I live I've never seen PWs on sale and they all look so healthy. Can't wait to see that as they mature .
It's looking beautiful Jes! The bunnies are totally saying that...Jess is planting us more food. I have tried everything and nothing is foolproof, sorry to say. Just learned what they like and don't. What makes me sad is I like the things they like to eat, but I put those things in pots out of their reach. God bless your garden Jes!
I have trouble with bunnies too but they are cute. Between them and the deer, raccoons and groundhogs, I keep busy cleaning up after them. . I like your idea of asking God to help protect my garden, so I say a prayer each day for my garden and yours.
Why don’t you get some sort of spray to keep the bunnies away. I had to get something to help keep the deer away. I only sprayed it on the stuff I didn’t want them to eat.
Great price on the PW 😉 I actually have little dollar store fencing surrounding my zinnias until they put on some decent growth 😂🐰 Looks great 🤩 Oh wow !!! Max just mixes right in with your fireplace, like he could just be a ceramic decoration !!! 😂
?? Have you ever considered, maybe putting "bunny feeders" on each back corner of the yard, at the edge of treeline? Maybe it would deterr some of the munching!!❤❤❤❤
Wow those are beautiful and for three dollars that’s so insane!! I can’t wait to them all grow together and I know it will be beautiful!! When I get some gardening done I always thank the lord for giving me strength to Garden!! After my knee replacement I am soooo slow but hopefully after my other knee replacement in Nov next summer I pray will be easier!! ❤❤❤
I love watching your videos. You are a talented gardener and singer. God gave you many gifts Jes and you use them wisely. Everything looks beautiful and I look forward to seeing it fill in.
You have the best testimony! We're all blessed in so many ways! The hill is going to be beautiful, especially if the zinnias come up! Have a blessed day!
You are helping out a local grower just like your friends green house. I love supporting my local nursery when I can but this year I just can't pay 40+ $ for the latest hydrangea or 18.00 per perennial. I love your selections, your garden will be beautiful as always.
Bunnies watching and waiting! I had to laugh at that comment since my landscaper and I had a final meeting today to begin installing some new trees next week. We joked that the deer were watching and spreading the word that we were introducing a new menu next week. LOL
The bunnies closed one door on the zinnias and your sweet attitude towards them opened another door 😊 The hill will be beautiful in no time including the zinnias that weren’t eaten. Must be the year of the bunny because they are making mischief in my garden can’t help but laugh when they see me and stand like statues pretending like they aren’t here 😂 Happy gardening 🌺
Feeding the bunnies like feeding the birds. You could plant up some cheap lettuce seed and hopefully fill their tummies so the dont venture into garden.
The bunnies gotta eat too 😅. Just look at it like you feed the birds and the bunnies. Unlike the ungrateful squirrels I have in my yard. They like to dig up all my annuals and leave lying on the ground so they can bury their nuts...🙄.
Hi Jes🌺.You choose a beautiful plants and they are going to be amazing in the hill and this pink salvia looks wonderful . Greetings to your sister Coco and Have agreat day .🌺🌻🌺
I wish I could find $3 Proven Winner plants that look that good in my area! You’re so lucky!
Nice video.i always picture heaven being like that with beautiful flowers.have a beautiful day!❤
Me too.❤

I’ve been working outside as much as I can before the real heat hits this week. I can’t handle the 90’s working in full sun 🥵💐💚🙃
Yes !!! Supposed to be in the 90s for the next two weeks in PA 😮💨
Also loved the song to your brother in yesterday’s video!
WOW what a deal you got! I will not pay full price for PW either. Sure wish I could find som $3 ones! I don’t normally put annuals out but this year I found white and pink big leaf begonias, impatiens for $5/FLAT 😮 I bought them! I also got some 1 qt pots for $1
Wishing you luck on everything you planted❤

It’s going to be so pretty when they all fill in. Good luck, hopefully bunnies have moved on. Happy gardening Jes
Love it!!! 😍 Those new plants will fill in nice with the seedlings…🌱

Love the new flowers, looks beautiful. The garden is going to be filled with beautiful colors.

I love that we get to listen to your music while working in your garden! What a great find with Proven Winners for $3 and they look so good.

Max is such a pretty cat!! I love seeing how you fill in a garden bed. Have a great day Jes! ❤

Max is a very handsome boy!
Nice. U make it look so easy. Enjoyed.
Thank you Princess Jes, hopefully the bunnies will leave your new pants alone🤞🏻. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it fills in. 💐💚🙃

Hi Jes. Everything is just absolutely beautiful. ❤ Have a blessed weekend with your brother’s wedding and enjoying all the festivities.
Hey Jes, I just saw an advertisement for Liquid Fence, Deer and Rabbit repellent. Safe for plants and animals but also…..water resistant!
NOT!!!

Have you tried Repeals? It’s a granular that you sprinkle around the flowers. Your yard is beautiful!
You are so very sweet, and becoming my favorite Gardening friend on YT. All of Your Gardens are beautiful..🌱
Rabbits ate my daisies! They also bit off all my geranium flowers but didn't eat them!!! Very unhappy. Irish spring soap works but it has to be the original sented one.

I garden in flip flops, too!❤🩴🩴

Hi Jes! beautiful garden u have there! Love your music as well.

Thanks again for all you do. Congrats to the wedding couple and God bless your entire family!
Combination of colors are beautifull. Can't wait to see the results ❤❤❤
Hugs, Jes!❤ The deer came through last night and ate my hydrangeas and delphinium.😅
I start my seeds much earlier than you, for this exact reason. if they only have a couple sets of true leaves when i plant them, they are goners. All my seeds get started in January. You sound like you’re getting sick! Take care of yourself ❤
Beautiful gardens and an adorable Max❤ thanks for sharing .
You need somthing in that garden that makes a noise when the rabbits come around. They have those solar ultrasonic spikes maybe that will work
Enjoyed hope the bunnies leave ur flowers alone.
I love the way you look at life and appreciate it! You inspire my positive day every time I’m with you!❤❤
Love seeing sweet Max!
What about the garden in the woods behind the buildings? When are you going to start them? Waiting.jeff
No way I could garden in flip-flops.❤❤😂😂
Smells that are supposed to repel rabbits the best are marigolds, mint, garlic and basil. Maybe the Irish Spring has a mint scent?
Sorry about zinnias 😮 bunny's behave!😊
Wow Jes, what a beautiful plant haul and holy cow if I lived by that nursery I 'd be running there as fast as I could for those prices !! Where I live I've never seen PWs on sale and they all look so healthy. Can't wait to see that as they mature .
I laughed out loud when you said I bet the bunnies are watching me plant them some food!!😂
Messina’s Rabbit Stopper spray or their nylon tape soak in the stopper and staked around your gardens will keep the bunnies away
I saw a mouse run down by the wall when you starting singing howling at the moon. love your music btw. Your beds are so pretty!
Bunny/deer leave my salvia alone. I plant it as a border in my garden .
You can get a live trap and catch them then take them for long ride away from your yard. I have to do that with skunks and raccoons.😊
You should plant geranium bunny 🐰 won't eat them on that hill side maybe next year
That is so strange, Your zinnias were beautiful last year.
I’ve had the bunny problem ever since lived here
I found out this year that the second number is if your planting in the ground.
I think you will be happier with the perennials.
It's looking beautiful Jes! The bunnies are totally saying that...Jess is planting us more food. I have tried everything and nothing is foolproof, sorry to say. Just learned what they like and don't. I put Irish spring down last year and they stopped eating my hosta but I have a mole digging around not sure what he is up to
Beautiful Jess I adore this😊!
Great price on your plants & will look gorgeous as it grows in. Fingers crossed bunnies leave it alone 🇺🇸🧑🌾🐇
We are so addicted to our plants!😂
Why don’t you get some sort of spray to keep the bunnies away. I had to get something to help keep the deer away. I only sprayed it on the stuff I didn’t want them to eat.
She said that she does spray but her sprinklers hit the plants she sprays so its not very effective.
They have automatic sprinklers that water her plants, so it washes off.
Going to be so beautiful! 🦋
That's amazing 😊
Привіт з України 😍
👋🏻 Max. 💐💚🙃
Hoi jess from the Nederland, putt your zinnias in a highpot on your deck swimmingpool. Looks beautiful. Greets Holland.
Great price on the PW 😉 I actually have little dollar store fencing surrounding my zinnias until they put on some decent growth 😂🐰 Looks great 🤩 Oh wow !!! Max just mixes right in with your fireplace, like he could just be a ceramic decoration !!! 😂

I don’t have good luck getting salvia to take or come back either. Zone 5b/6a in the inter mountain West (so hot, dry and nasty clay soil)
It's going to be beautiful!! I have found with bigger plants typically the bunnies don't maybe a nibble and move on 🤞
You have the best testimony! We're all blessed in so many ways! The hill is going to be beautiful, especially if the zinnias come up! Have a blessed day!

Beautiful choices! I always use white to pop the other colors. Hopefully the bunnies will leave your mature plants alone!
😂😂😂in her bunny🐇 voice "oh look she is planting us more food"
Maybe try repelsall. It's a granule that goes on the ground and maybe would last longer. I don't know how to spell it but it's called repels all
I'm excited to see this area in a couple of weeks! It's going to be so pretty 😍
1st comment:)) ❤ your videos!
God is good, you are we are so blessed. Sorry about the bunnies.
Jes, you have such a great laid-back attitude about the bunny situation. Praying that many blessings continue coming your way.
💚😊💚
Beautiful colors, it's going to be gorgeous.
That garden is going to be beautiful when it all grows in!
What a beautiful selection of plants!
