Juice never did that, but he did freestyle his songs and did multiple versions of them going over many different verses and bars, juice did everything off the dome and especially his freestyles, about 80-90% of juices songs were freestyled, he wrote a couple songs but that was rare.
The song was made before the freestyle bro. How you think he “went off the dome.” Dicky said in his interview some rappers spend months on a radio freestyle. Its the best way for them to get their name out, you think they not gonna do their best shit? That’s why he said run it back, because that’s not off the top. But any herb is good content.
Most freestyles are written or at least rehearsed. Freestyling does not mean coming off the dome, it means being able to put lyrics to any beat (hence the term freestyle, there’s no existing structure aside from the lyrics). This was a written but it wasn’t written to this beat.
