If the show embraced its pg 13 themes then it would be more than kissing when they are adults. Although both characters in the show seemed too repressed insecure and awkward to express themselves in that way. The comic does a good job of balancing the awkward behavior into something friendly and romantic. The show made them appear as if they were friends too much with barely anything romantic.

Catra views consent as a lack of a challenge. If the person is into it than what is she getting out of it. She wants to be sneaky and take her partner by suprise through manipulation even if it would mean doing chores. If a person is into her in a way that is healthy or consensual than she would question what the hell is wrong with you? To be fair her views of consent as bad comes from shadow weaver.
Well, she's also just a kid here. I don't think she really gets kissing yet but is curious about it and has a crush on Adora without realizing it. But yeah, a lot of all sort of issues thanks to Shadow Weaver, too.

Also I am pretty sure she knows what consent is. Her being grossed out about the novela is due to the fact that it is not her doing it with Adora.

Sadly, based on other comics, Catra lives with Shadow Weaver. But she likes to visit Adora and Razz.
