I am an American, a Spanish hybrid. I went to Iran with an American passport two years ago. I went alone. I am 23 years old and a girl. The truth was I was very scared but I wanted to see Iran. Let me say a few things about Iran: Everywhere I went, I told everyone I was American. I expected them to hate me but they loved me. No one took extra money from me. Even in most places, they did not charge me at all. When I asked them why, they said that we Iranians have a hospitable nature. Even with ourselves. Iran is safer than the United States. Nobody bothered me, nobody attacked me, nobody cheated, nobody frowned at me, nobody hated me. Iran is like a miracle for human beings. This is a fact. Thank you Iran Thank you Iranian people I love you.,

I believe the technique for riding on sand is to stand up to balance the bike better, using your leg muscles to counter the slips, maybe in a gear higher than usual so there's less torque kicking up sand and digging you in. Good luck brother.

Adrian From London hey mate, sadly with a British passport you can’t ride your bike into Iran alone, you have to go with a guide who will escort you the entire time through the country...I’ve actually been traveling with an Irish passport so luckily just turned up at the border and was able to go into Iran alone!
It’s definitely worth checking Iran out, even if you have to have a guide! Such an awesome country!!

He's using an Irish passport.
Go to Iranian consulate in Kensington London and they Will get your visa sorted and no one gets escorted it's not DPRK or Saudi Arabia
Getting a visa for Iran is not the problem, it's being able to cross into Iran and travel independently with a British (or USA) passport. Do you know of any British passport holders that have done that recently? I only know of British people that have dual nationality that have done it.
