I got a pound of the honey bush tea. I brew it until it cools down enough to drink (about 15 minutes). It tastes and smells amazing with no bitterness to it. It tastes thick and sweet and smells like honey.
Love green rooibos, red rooibos and honey bush. I just toss a few bags into my water bottle and I'm set for the day. Rooibos served over ice with a slash of orange juice is delicious on a hot summers day but gin and rooibos is just as good with a lime. Hot toddy? You bet. Rooibos and rye with lemon and honey is my go to when I get a cold.
I was introduced to red rooibos by a friend from Jordan in college, and it's been the love of my (tea) life ever since. So yummy. Makes a great iced tea also.
Oh wow, I love this video and all your information. I have a lot of Rooibos tea, mainly because I was informed of the health benefits. It's pretty smooth, but like you said it can get a little bitter if brewed too long. I will have to try the honeybush tea. Take Care, Peaches
Are their benefits pretty much the same? Is honeyBush just just “more” beneficial? I LOVE rooibos, it helps with my hormonal migraines. I have been searching for new herbs/teas to add to my life and came across your video. Thank you it was very helpful!! I also love ProphetEZ!
They have some small differences in benefits. The higher antioxidant level does mean the honeybush will be better overall for heart health, cancer benefits, & overall health benefits that you normally see from red or black teas.
I drank some Honey bush tea several years ago & broke out in really bad hives during the night. I want to try it again because I really enjoyed the tea & I want to see If it was really the tea that caused the mysterious hives.
Interesting. It would be good to know if it was actually a reaction to the honey bush or something else. Maybe just a particular strain of honeybush? Very interesting.
Wow I haven’t heard of either of these teas, they sound great. I am usually drinking green or oolong tea. Lots of great info, I always learn something new!
Oh Erick, you said 3000 sq miles... but you drew a circle LOLZ.. Never had any of these. I must try sometime. Very informative video once again. Thank you sir 👍🐕👊
I have NEVER tried tha Cain of tea 🤔it sounds delicious Eric thanks for sharing the info about it. STAY safe and bless and strong and positive much love from me xoxox
Just to let you know, his pronunciation is incorrect. He says 'Roy Bis". The correct pronunciation is 'Roy Bos' (the 'o' is pronounced like the o in 'off'. I'm a South African who has drunk both Honey Bush (Heuningbos) and Rooibos daily from childhood. Although he says not to brew Rooibos for longer than a few minutes, the correct and traditional African way is to keep brewing it throughout the day, topping up as necessary with more water and more leaves, in a stainless steel saucepan or teapot (looseleaf, please - NEVER tea bags which are used to conceal that they contain mainly the cheaper sticks, not the leaves, which have more flavour and more antioxidants). The longer the brew, the better it tastes. Enjoy and be healthy!
2:01 zoiks... I dont steep even close to 5 minutes. about 90 seconds. americans do seem to oversteep their tea vs the brits (and other parts of the empire I suppose). i am american, but don't like tea getting bitter.
Just bought Honeybrush tea and it tastes like ass. It’s like you boiled broom weed and drank it. I guess if it’s that good for you I will will not throw it away but mix it in with something
Good to see some promotion of Honeybush internationally. As a sustainable honeybush producer, its good to see some recognition of the product.
That's awesome! Yes, I do love a good honeybush tea. Hope your business is doing well.

Very nice. We have several rooibos blends we love. I'm a big fan of the one with red peppercorns.
Finished this playlist...Happy Sunday!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!!!
I drink both but prefer the flavor of Honeybush especially when it's served cold. Between red and green Rooibos, I prefer red.
I lean towards the red too. :)
Sorry I missed the premiere (again) but I enjoyed the comparison. Thanks again for all the info you bring to us my friend!
Many thanks for the support! 🌱😊🌱

I've never tried it! you guys are encouraging me!!!
@@LizBrousseau do it!!! It's good stuff! I usually like a little milk with my red teas.
Im going to make cup of green to drink before i go to sleep. Have a great day🌱💚🌲
Sounds great! Enjoy!
I'm fairly grateful just to have learned how to pronounce rooibos today.
Interesting that it mostly grows in the wild. I like its independent spirit!
Excellent! Go forth and share your tea pronouncing power! 🙂😋🌱

Both sound like nice teas to try
They are, I like most any red tea I've come across.
Big like my good friend, thank you for sharing, 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

Honeybush is my favorite. Just the right amount of sweet, not bitter or anything
It is a nice variation of red tea.

Excellent! You have a great week! Stay happy & healthy!
Great information. I’m not typically a fan of rooibos and honey bush, but they can be nice. 🥰🙌
I find red tea works much better with friends. Whereas its easier to find black or green teas that are good by themselves.
I hardly drink tea these days its mostly coffee nice info
Thanks for visiting! No problem with coffee lovers. Everybody has their own beverage. :)
Learned something new today...thanks!🐺🐾🐶🤗
Many thanks! Glad to share the fun info!
Exclusively grown in South Africa? Unique properties then, have never tried it, thanks for sharing 😀👍
Yes, I love the red teas. :)
What is the best brand for red rooibos that i can purchase on Amazon?
That's really subjective. Lots of people like different ones. Search by average customer review and usually you'll find lots of great options.
Wow I haven’t heard of either of these teas, they sound great. I am usually drinking green or oolong tea. Lots of great info, I always learn something new!
Time to branch out to some new teas maybe? :)
Eccentric Nature definitely!
I've not tried either that I can remember! Hope change that! Good info!! Tfs!!👍
They are worth a taste!
Thank you for this video! What was your source for the information on the ORAC scores?

It is a lesser known one, but a big time powerhouse.
I love love Honeybush tea

THanks!

That's cool to know about the traditional brewing method. Love it! And yes, I know its Roy Bos. My mouth sometimes just forgets to agree. :)

That's totally cool. Always best to avoid the bitter and if you're on the lower end of that spectrum, by all means steep less! 🌱🙂🌱

Sorry you don't like it. It's always amazing how different everyone's palate is.
Just rooibos. Not red rooibos... rooi means red
