If God saved him from the shot, why did God not also save the low-level, less important people who were shot and killed at the rally? Like the former fire chief of Buffalo? Or the others who were injured and hospitalized? God could have had law enforcement catch the guy even before he arrived at the scene and protected even that lowly fire chief. So maybe it wasn't the power of God that stopped this? I find it hard to believe God would save Trump but not the fire chief who left a family behind.

Trump having any spiritual connection to any kind of faith let alone God is hilarious. I could quote a few scriptures to him of which this speech alone contradicts.
I strongly believe in Freedom of Religion, I think included in the First Amendment. I’d have to read it again. But it’s freedom “of” not freedom “from.” In other words anyone has a right, in America, to express his religious views as long as he’s not using it in a violent manner. And no, “language” isn’t violence, at least usually. That being written I’m not convinced it’s a great idea for a president to openly be involved in any religious exercise. I’m truly ambivalent on it though. But I strongly dislike it when Democrats, such as Joe Biden, were downright hypocrites when they went to a Catholic Church but seemingly simultaneously mocked religion - and God, if He exists (don’t ask me) - at the same time. I’d rather have a president pick a side and stick with it.
I'm in Australia. A lot of Australians are deeply worried about Trump's ruthless decisions impacting us and the rest of the world. I don't think he should be getting involved with Christian events. He is not a Christian, he even said so. But he knows that he has Christian supporters and is continuing to seek their approval.
