A big tip is to make sure you keep resigning your players. Chances are you won't want to draft players but instead sign some in free agency, which costs CC. You want to increase your salary cap to enough of your liking and make sure your players aren’t toxic. That way, you won’t lose a player until he retires so you’ll spend as little CC as possible on free agency.

If you want to play without simming, OL and defensive players are practically CC farms on the easier difficulties. Good Offensive Linemen will have 20 tackles a game and constantly level up

If you wanna be very cheat, if you lose a simulation just restart the game before hitting next after your team loses. That’s gonna make you a ton of coins
For the first few seasons id advise raising salary cap and only get 4.5 or 5 star players in the draft. I got my salary cap at 400k but 300k is plenty. The main thing is don't sign free agents unless they are under 25 and 5 stars. If there's a 5 star in the draft that's younger than you're player currently trade older player and sell that pick or pick another 4.5 or 5 star for a needed position. Don't hire coaches until you're team is built. I wouldn't upgrade anything but your stadium either just because that gives you more cc.
I just save my CC and after 2 years I go to the team I want and blow it on free agents
