Thanks David , i am really struggling to setup the labs to work on Juniper devices, how do you setup labs, i have also noticed you are using quit old Juno OS. What will be your recommendations to setup labs easily and quickly , Many Thanks
@@faisalak7 hi, first thanks for the support. So I am using the latest version of Junos. I am however not using EVO if that’s what you mean? What are you struggling with?
@@Netcademyits just does not work properly, FPC is keep dropping , i have tried GNS3 and EVE both have issues and lot of time wasted on rectifying the issues. What do you recommend for labs, physical equipment? as some of the SRX and EX devices are very cheap on eBay. whats your suggestions on labing, if i use SRX 300 or 210 and some EX 2200 and 3400 switches will they be enough for JNCIP certs. Thanks.
@ so are you using virtual Images or physical equipment? If using vQFXs then I tried those and they’re riddled with bugs. Which is why Juniper doesn’t provide those free images anymore. Feel free to message me on LinkedIn. Might be quicker 👍
@ I’d recommend virtual and I use eve ng. But like with anything virtual it depends on the hardware/ server it’s running off. What’s the specs of your server (cpu, memory etc)?
