I can’t play this game anymore lol, at the battle rank where everybody is running full z7 buffed teams with crazy stars and full godly equipment while I’m here f2p so I have to wait like a month and a half for a single z7 assuming I even have enough stars since I can’t summon 7000000 times in every banner like the guys I go against
You don't need fully godly equip and you can most def beat teams without using meta characters, the part about zrb is real asf tho

Im trying to get lord slugs new equip done but damn i .cant keep enough zeni to do the 700 erasers on 3rd slot did the price of reupgrading equips go up i swear its agrovating how hard it is to get good rolls when it literally cost all my materials just to have enough zeni to use the 2000 earasers unique equip cost to roll

Legends frustrates me. All the LFs I 14 starred have had mid zenkais. FP Frieza mid, ssj3 dragon fist mid, and blue dbs broly mid. The only one that has actually been really good is kid buu and zamasu.
You do realize that Broly's zenkai turned him into a 4 ton truck, right? Yeah, the lack of cover null sucks, but if you're competent enough and can read your opponent right, the dude can and will do serious damage
@@tales527 he is competent, yes, but competent isn’t enough. He’s only good if your a good player. I can attest to that cause I used him for a while. The point is you have to go out of your way to do things that characters basically already have built into them. Why you think everyone is running ssj4 gogeta? Because you don’t have to stress about having to drop combo every 2 secs to use him properly. Yea you can do some serious damage IF you can land and sustain him on the battle field for a while which they didn’t give him the tools to do. Let’s just call it what it is, they dropped the ball with broly by not giving him the one thing he needed to be a monster, cover null. The best characters are the ones that’s always the easiest to use.
Actually, I've found that the more complicated a character is, the stronger they CAN be. Evoken, for example, is a tricky unit to use because of how much there is to their kit. But if a player can properly understand their mechanics, they can be absolute monsters on the field. Yet people still say Beast Gohan is better (which I'm not disagreeing, but I feel it's for different reasons). Now yes, the increased difficulty of using a character is a deterrent for using said character, but that also means other players likely aren't going to bother learning their kit, which gives you the element of surprise. Plus, it also allows the players to learn how to use the easier characters in a more complicated manner.
This is just my perspective on the game when it comes to characters like this. Yeah, the easy characters are, well, easy, but you can be highly rewarded if you know how to use complicated characters.
@@tales527 I definitely agree that they CAN be good. But CAN be isnt enough. Most meta defining characters are the simplest characters to use. Evoken was pushed out of top 10 right after legends fest because of his difficulty to use him was conflicting with his teams. Beast is still used to this day because of his easiness to access and use his mechanics which makes him better than evoken. Just because evoken CAN deal as much damage as Beast doesn’t mean anything. It’s about how consistently he can do so. If you have to put in work to make a character great, that means that character isn’t great.
I can probably hop in a match with LF broly and he pops off and looks like a top 5 character, but how consistently is he doing that? Maybe 1 or 2 out of every 10 matches or so? He doesn’t even consistently have cover null to punish anyone without a drop combo. Now look at someone like ssj4 gogeta and he’s doing that consistently with tools to punish you for any little mistake you make. Get cover changed? Blue card. Get priority? Gauge activates etc etc etc.
I find something you said interesting. “It allows the players to learn how to use the easier character in a more complicated manner”. That’s precisely why using broly and evoken aren’t good options. Cause if people are using the easier characters in a more complicated manner and you’re trying to use a complicated character in a competent manner, the person who has the easier character to manage will more than likely win due to the access of better kit even if you and him play at the same skill level.
