That’s amazing. Seen OMD a few times in the last few years in Liverpool and Manchester. And I’ve seen Numan and Midge do this kind of online Live event recently, and I feel THIS presentation is far superior. Well done to all involved in making it so visually fabulous, and the sound of course, and love to all the band. 👍😎
Nothing will come close to Malcolm hitting those drums when this opened the Birmingham 100 rehearsal gig back in 2007, something a lot of us had waited 20 years for and never imagined we would ever see again. Stu is an excellent addition and there's absolutely no criticism of him, none whatsoever. But Mal... maybe one day we'll have him back for a guest slot on Maid or Romance... Love ya Mally !
Andy McCluskey Pod koniec lat 70.razem z Paulem Humphreysem założył zespół muzyczny Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) W wieku 62 lat wykonać utwór Joan Of Arc (Maid Of Orleans) na żywo,po prostu majstersztyk nic dodać nic ująć.Klasa sama w sobie. Wielkie uznanie z mojej strony.😍😍😍😍😍
Absolutely no decline with age. Might even sound better than ever. When he goes into falsetto near the end of his vocal part, it sent shivers up my spine.
I adore you, you are my favorite, before "The Alan Persons Project" which I also adore, as well as Depeche Mode, Simple Minds and New Order and I have a lot of CDs of you, and I got to know you thanks to a French radio which made me love New Wave, electro Pop and other electronic music, this Radio was one of the first French free radios, on FM and which was called: "Radio 7" which became "france info nowadays and I have just learned about it from "Wikipedia" and which had a program in the evening late at the end of the week, which lasted 2 hours presented by 2 animators including a very famous one called: Christophe Bourseiller, a program that I never missed that we played groups rarely heard at the time when the super commercial satisfied the listeners more than music like yours which is called "Industrial" is the case of this very special song, and therefore when I heard for the first time: "Stanlow" which more than charmed me, I played it on repeat at the time, and well I fell in love with your band, it couldn't be otherwise, all for "Alan Persons Project" which I love as much as you, I would say, lol! then I bought several albums little by little and I finally came across this wonderful and very special album where "Stanlow" is in the 9th song which ends this album brilliantly! and this song: "Sealand" which I find as bewitching and even more than "Stanlow" and which has a lot of points of similarity and which is in the same style as "Stanlow" and well when I discovered it by chance on a other album, I could only like it too and I listened to it on repeat a lot of times as well. Too good these 2 songs, and there are still many others, but for me, "Stanlow" was the starting point that marked me forever with this song, then ... too bad that we hear more of this type of music nowadays, even if the New wave and other electro styles have not really disappeared, but now we hear too much the same thing and copied from others, so that there is no has more originality, but the new generations of listeners, alas does not care about that, as long as things move is the main thing, too bad. Thank you again for all your wonderful musical creations that make with other groups of the same style that I compose avant-garde and therefore non-commercial music, but that's what I like ...
ARe plans to put more videos of the concert of last Saturday?. Was amazing to see you guys with the same force since Paris February 16th were I saw you!!!
You know what I like most about this? That you still care so much.. & curate your back catalogue with such respect and dedication. These songs shaped many of our youths - and performing them 40 yrs on with this intensity something to behold. A Special band.

Best band ever! I saw they in live only once, when they visited Tallinn but I hope to see them again and again. And my opinion is that the vocal is even better than 40 years ago. Please visit Tallinn again.
Loved the performance! You never disappoint. Any chance it will be released on DVD? I was unable to replay the show and desperately want to see it again because technical difficulties caused me to miss the first 3 songs during the livestream. 🙁
Can't ever get enough of them, since early 80s in Germany. They carried me through covid lockdown. THE BEST. Will see them in April in WashDC, sooo excited!
One of the best live bands I've ever had the privilege of seeing. Love these guys
I saw them at de Montfort Leicester in the mid 80s outstanding. Right by the stage, couldn’t hear for several days. Amazing.
I've been a fan since the eighties. Have seen them live at least ten times. They are just brilliant.
It gave me goosebumps on the night and still does
One of my favourite bands, brilliant, brought back great memories, thanks guys, still brilliant 👏😀👍
I hope in my lifetime I get to see OMD perform live again. The last time was 1985.
You should, even for oldies, they still produce the goods, and Andy's dancing is still as energetic as ever!

Still one of my favourites. Just so haunting and cold. Always be a big place in my heart for OMD - I wouldn't be playing a keyboard without them.

I was unable to watch it live on Saturday and then I completely forgot about it. Now the link isn't available on demand anymore, bloody hell.
Neat

Can't ever get enough of them, since early 80s in Germany. They carried me through covid lockdown. THE BEST. Will see them in April in WashDC, sooo excited!
Thanks Andy and Paul❤ Stanlow still remains one of the most beautiful yet haunting songs🙏
How does Andy compose his melodies? On a synth, on a bass or an acoustic guitar?
