Yay ! I fell totally in love with the last album "Broken Machine", such a pleasure to hear more about Dom's rig !
This tone itself makes me want to get the amp.
Please keep these coming! Being an owner of the GT 100 I love seeing artists discuss their tones using my amp
Rushburner Mail Mate, the amp gets a bad rep, however I reslly like the versatility of this amp, would you recommend it or not?
I_am_a_donkey. Would recommend it anyday, if you have time to sit down and play you can modify the tone to an infinite amount. Change to an incredible amount of amps, change the amp settings, change the cab for the amp, change pedals which there are tons, add eqs to get the exact tone you want, it's just incredible. The reason the get a bad rep is because people don't sit down and make their own presets and work the settings. They just use the defaults that come on the amp which aren't the best

Mark Kunie it's more just an effect sound for one song's verse, he mainly uses usual overdrive sounds
The Mustang GT are Fenders worst Amps ao far!!! I know, Sound is a subjective Thing, but I went to my local gear shop and tested the GT40 against every other amp in its price range and it lost against every other model. I ended up buying its own predecessor, the Mustang II V2, cause they gave me a great deal. So far I did not regret it, but it is sad seeing Fender trying to sell these cheap, boxy amps! I am sure, a software update can help. Even now, hearing a pro tuning in "his" sound, it kinda sounds as if something is wrong with that device. It sounds dull, artifical.... just wrong!
