Can we bring back the fireworks on the grass berm. I was looking at some throwback tapes of the LA Galaxy in 2014. The fireworks were insane in the finals!!
My high school marching band in Montebello had about 300 people in it, so I generally know what multiples of that look like. There was about 1000 or so people there.
Im at the part where you guy are discussing why the galaxy aren't in the club world cup. One thing that could be argued about MLS, vs other european leagues, the number of teams and the parity in MLS makes playoffs necessary. In the EPL, you have maybe 2 teams competing for a title, but there is no parity, so its the strong teams killing the weak ones. In MLS its different, and definitely in 2024, the west was a stronger conference. Every team that had more than around 55-57 points in 2024 in MLS was a GOOD squad. Miami, Cincinatti, Columbus in the east, Seattle, RSL, LA, LAFC in the west. RBNY was just a hot team at the right moment, but any of the 55+ squads could beat the other on a given day. Galaxy would have beat miami if not for that replacement ref, same thing seattle knocked off LAFC. So while I want a reworked playoffs, I like having them vs not.
