Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was so excited to watch it and make this beautiful ring. I was so glad to see you had put black and red ends on the monofilament also. I am left handed and more times than not, I get confused and give up if the colors are not on there. Thank you, again. Can't wait to show you on FB when I finish it.

Fishing line monofilament is best to use it is cheap to buy. At walmart there are spools in the fishing section for 3.00 for 700yd.

Lovely!! You r my guru and I always admire ur creativity. I did almost all your creations and I am a huge fan of your color sense which i very much lack. keep up the good work and we(ur followers)want more...more more videos from you, teacher. I started beading becoz of u. I had a thought that it may be a big task that i cant even try. but u made it easy and possible for those who had noexperience in beading , jewelry making..now i started trying new things that r complicated too. Thanks a ton.

I use fishing line monofilament. I buy it at walmart but you can get it at any fishing supplies store. These are the monofilaments I use along with there diameters 6lb. dia. .010 and 8lb. dia. .011 and 10lb. dia. .012 As you can see they are very close in sizes. My favorites are 8lb. and 10lb. because they are very strong and stiff enough that the ends can be used as needles.

great tutorial! I'm glad I found you. I've made earrings for a daughter in law for christmas for several years. But I've never made rings or anything more than the odd simple patterns of bracelets or necklaces. I'll bet she'd love one or two of these!

I love this one even better then the pendant, reason I ave hands the size of a 6 yr old so I have to adjust bead size. I had to use 4mm rounds for tisa and I used chek 11/0'sw which are smaller then regular ones I was able to add the second set of seed beads but it is still to large for my fingers so I made it a pendant LOVE IT! Thanks For some reason I had the hardest time making the real pendant but this version was so easy thanks for sharing glad to see you back from being ill. Sue

Hi Aleshia i love all your videos and i have a lot of questions for you jaja first is there an instrument or something to measure rings other than our own fingers? Second could you post a video on how to do a ring or bracelet using hex cut beads? Thank you and i'll wait patient and anxious for your response

Hi Aleshia, I love your tutorials.. you make it so easy for everyone to understand. I can't keep up with everything, lol . I just finished one of the starfish pendants you did, and will upload it to Facebook when I can. I just have 1 question... How do you keep your monofilament from curling ? Mine wants to curl all the time, I have run it through my hands and fingers but it doesnt seem to help. Thanks again for all the creativity and inspiration you give to us :)

Yes, there is a ring mandrel that has different sizes on it for measuring rings. They also sell a tool that has a ring of every size on it so you can measure fingers and see what size someone wears. I will work on seeing what I can make for you with hex cut seed beads. Thanks for watching

She said you can use 8 or 10 pound monofilament in the video. On most things I will use 10 pound that is a .012 diameter. The type I buy is just fishing line and it shows the size information on the spool of monofilament. It is a thin but strong plastic thread. Hope that helps :)
