Good experiment, yet what was presented here was perhaps a 360 degree view. Camera seems to have a gyroscopic stabilizer that kept the horizon stable. It faced nearly the same viewing direction since the horizontal view was very slowly shifting to the left as the camera rotated to the right during the whole video. One could see the umbra spreading across the ground and cirrus clouds. But by the end of the eclipse event, the elevation was so high that the sky remained very dark regardless of the eclipse status.
