Thanks for this interview. I love”Diarra From Detroit”. It’s one of my favs! The show has everything from comedy to drama to mystery. I am excited for season 2. I hope to see Diarra and Swa reunite for good.
I watched this show off of Karen's rec (What to Watch) and I loved it! It was very clever. Engaging, and funny. It felt authentic. The main character is messy and endearing and fully human. Her fashion is on point too. The supporting characters are just as an engaging and 3 dimensional. I am praying for a second season.
Now I gotta ad another channel subscription 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️--but after seeing her 🤩--and listening to Diarra and Karen’s praises --imma watch episode 1 tonight
All these people with these great black shows have “other” spouses. And now I get it because they are missing the black experience at home and bringing it to our screens

@@keithmurakata5359 Gotcha. I thought you were talking about the TV show. I hadn't finished the interview yet when I fell into the comments. I'll finish it though. And based on your response, I think I'll feel it immediately when I get there...
Hey Karen! I think one of the hashtags is misspelled. Great introduction to a show that I hadn't heard about. I sent to my mom to watch your episode and the show.
I know I'm wrong for feeling this way, but... eff it, I'm gonna say it. I'm always a little disappointed when smart, successful, talented, beautiful Brothers & Sisters wind up with someone white 😢! And please don't come at me, I know everyone has a right to be with whomever they please, the heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes you can't control who you fall in love with, but DAMN MAN, COME ON...

I tell everyone I can about "Diarra from Detroit" it is a smart, funny, relatable romp. We need more shows like it.
Kudos to having Diarra on your show. She is grossly underrated!
she is really good.
@@KarenHunterShow she is great. Too bad the rest of the world did not appreciate American Koko, which came out around the same time as “Insecure”.

Actually, you can control who you fall in love with. A person decides to go down that road.

I'm joining that band, make it two! 😉✊🏽 And my son's name is Diarra(gift from God-west African), look at that 😊
Hello there, in what specific West african language does it mean "gift"?
Claire Huxtable was gangsta in Empire before it went off. I think that was Empire.
She need to grow up at sleep 💤
Whoopi's real name is Karen.
and? you keep posting this comment on different videos (and you spelled her birth name incorrectly).
