Omg I so needed this video. Long story short I'm 38 years old, have a 12 year old son, married for 15 years (currently separated) I was in college second year but had to take a break for now because I literally lost everything during my separation except for the clothes on my back, son and I are currently staying with my sister. I'm in a wheelchair so it kinda hard to move around like I use too. So everything I had planned for the future is not going as planned 😕 I recently saw the movie "War Room" and maybe that was a sign from ☝️because husband and I literally have been talking about divorce for a while and something kept telling me to watch that movie. Anyway sorry for rambling, but yea, just a little lost and confused, they say God doesn't give you more than you can handle 🤔 I wonder about that sometimes ... love you girls and your channel, puts a smile on my face every time I see a new video posted. HI friend! I believe that God DOES give us more than we can handle... to make us rely on HIM and not ourselves. If life was easy- when would we ever realize just how much we need God??
I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I know that I have never been through what you have been through so I can't give the best advice.
But what I can say is this: God loves you so much. He cherishes you. He is a GOOD GOD even when life is bad. He does not change like our life does - He is always good. Always faithful. Always working out a mighty plan in your life.
Remain faithful to Him in this hard season. Praying for you :)

Angie Villarreal Hi! I think that God knows how much we can handle, but in order to make us spiritually stronger I think He still gives us challenges to challenge our faith, I think that every christian gets closer to God when they go through the challenge. Im praying for you!

The LORD LOVES YOU, you are not alone. I am spending my days with my Bible&prayer & I am stronger growing in my walk with GOD. LIFE is GOOD. The HOLY SPIRIT is a gentleman, Talk to him, He will answer.
God will lead you. If you seek His Face....He will lead you. I am retired now, but had several careers along the way. I started out in retail and worked my way up the ladder. During the last part of my retail career, I got my cosmetology license and started working in a salon. I loved it,but sensed that it wasn't my purpose in life. So back to school....respiratory therapy....and that still didn't do it for me though I loved the hospital environment. Finally, I was back in school and in my thirties. I was just taking classes to keep learning. One day my advisor suggested that I think about teaching. I laughed because that was the last thing that I would ever want to do. But at the same time, I was taking a sign language class. The teacher and I started to become friends. She taught hearing impaired Pre_K and invited me to volunteer in her classroom. I went. I cannot explain what happened next. The only thing that I can say was that as soon as I walked into that room and sat down, I had a sensation that I had come home. I don't know how else to explain it. I just knew that I knew that I knew that that was what God wanted me to do....and I did. That was my last career. I loved being a teacher. The thing is that people were always telling me that. In retail, I was always training the new people. A lot of stuff happened in my life between high school and my final dawning...some good and some bad....but it was always leading me back to the same path and I was always poo-pooing what people were pointing out to me. Why? I hated high school. I was bullied most of my life and that was the residue that I felt whenever the topic came up. School was a constant struggle for me. But guess what? When I was finally a teacher, I had empathy for those kids in those situations on both sides. Bullies were usually bullied at one point in time. In my own life, it had left me defensive. I didn't trust people. So, God is leading us, but we have to pay attention to the signs that he has posted around us through the people who love us the most. If someone suggests a field that makes you think..."yuck!" Think again. It might be God speaking to you.
You girls have God on fire inside you! Everything you were saying I was agreeing with. I'm 29 and I rushed into life as a teenager and it caused tremendous heartbreak that has rippled through the years. I'm at the point in my life where I have a vague notion of where God wants me but I'm taking it step by step. I never thought I would end up where I am, but it will be for the glory of God. You young girls and teens out there that think adults have it all together, we don't. Sometimes we have no idea what's going on, but God is FAITHFUL!!! He will restore, provide, heal, lead, whatever you need Him to do.

this morning as i was in my devotion time i was literally praying about this exact thing! & about 2 hours later i see this video. It helped me out so much and it encouraged me to trust God and never rush the process & also to not compare myself to others that already know what they are doing with their life. It all takes time & trust.

WOW!!! Crazy how God times things so perfectly! I’ve been sporadically watching your videos for a while now, but I never watched this one until today. I’ve probably scrolled all around it and clicked on videos right next to it but never this one. Recently I’ve constantly been fearing my future and what I am to do with myself and my career. I feel like God set this video right in front of me tonight because He knew I needed it during this season in my life. Ashley’s story about college is LITERALLY MY LIFE RIGHT NOW! So crazy!! I went to Cosmetology school, graduated, have been working in a salon for two years now, and now have been feeling stuck because all this money has been put into it and financially it’s a big step to go back to school. ( not to mention it’s scary too!). Ive been praying and asking for guidance from the Lord on what I should do and I think this was so much confirmation on what I’ve been asking for guidance on! Thank you guys so much for making your videos and being so encouraging and inspiring! 💗

Wow, God is amazing! After a long day of stressing about what I should do when I graduate university this year, I prayed to God, surrendering, and letting His plan take control. This was the first video that I saw when I came onto UA-cam. I know everything will be okay when I put my faith in the Lord! God bless you guys! 💗

This is so true! This reminds me of something one of our bible teachers said at church camp one time. He was saying how so many young Christians think they *need* to become pastors or worship leaders or missionaries in order to glorify the Lord in their work. Sure, if you’re called to do that the Lord will most definitely use that for his purpose. But he was saying that the world need more Christians who are using whatever kind of work they’be been gifted with for his glory. We have loads of Christian pastors, but we need more Christian Garbage Men, Christian McDonalds Workers, Christian Daycare Owners, Christian Lawn Mowing Copanies, Christian Dance Teachers and Christian Nannies. Whatever the Lord calls you to do, you can do for his glory regardless if it’s a “Christian” job or not. You can still shed the love of Jesus through anything he calls you to do.
Thank you, Thank you for this video! I have been going through a very difficult season of doubt, fear, anxiety, searching for the purpose of my life. I realized that I need to work on really trusting God and not rush the process of trying to figure out what to do with my life. You can constantly read scriptures and search for understanding in the Bible, but if you don’t truly believe with your heart and mind that God has a plan for your life, you will constantly be the season of doubt, fear, and anxiety. God has a plan for every single one of us. If we truly believe, we can find peace and rest assure that God is making the path straight for us.
This video really helped me a lot. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one going through it. Thank you for the amazing content on your channel! Both of you girls energy and comedic side of you I love! Can’t wait to see what else you bring to your channel!

All I can say is PRAY and trust the Lord. Also...relax. Things will come to us in God's time and He will guide us. After high school I floundered for 8 years in various jobs and community college. All of a sudden I was led to apply for an assistant position in an elementary school with children in special education. After that I decided to finish my comm college AA degree and go to Florida Sate. It all fell into my lap because God made it happen. He knew I needed help so He gave it to me in a big way. My degree led to a 25 year career working with children and now I'm retired. So He always helps us. He loves us and wants us to do well. I always think that He is working for good in our lives and if we help ourselves He will help us!

Needed to hear this. I feel like we are in our own seasons in life, whether it is figuring out what we want to do with our life, or feeling lost altogether (which is always the latter for me...). I want to thank you two for sharing your experiences, and encouraging viewers like me through scriptures. I know I need to let go, and trust the process...trust God, but sometimes the human side of me likes to do the opposite of that, haha. Praying that God continues to use you guys in a mightily way.

I'm 30 so quite a bit older but I totally agree with your advice about not feeling pressured to go to college right away or even to go at all! When I graduated high school I automatically thought next step meant college but I think I would have benefited from waiting a year and really evaluating what I wanted. It is a lot to expect an 18 or 19 year old to decide what they should be doing and if you go to college you are pretty much expected to figure that out right away because you are spending so much money to study. If I could do it over I would have taken a gap year and tried to do some missionary work during that time and to really pray and reflect what direction I should go instead of just jumping into college because "that's what you do".
I need a new bible because of you two.

Great vid,.. with me it is always about trying to keep focus on my walk with the Lord right now. I do believe looking to the future, not in fear, but in the plan of God, can help keep things in life down here in their proper perspective.
First off, I LOVED THIS VIDEO hahaha, I loved how you guys were being so dorky at the end and 4:20 had me LMAO and also when ashley said " we are super pumped to bring to you..." with a straight face haha that was funny XD
But what I really wanted to say was It feels like this video was somehow meant for me. I am currently also doing a gap year and I have still no idea what I want to study next year, all my old high school classmates and friends are now in college and I feel kinda left behind, like I am wasting so much time and I'm still doubting my desicion about taking a year long break everytime I hear my friends talking about school. It's giving me stress even though I shouldn't be stressed because I don't have school at the moment. I also worry a lot about the future and about how time goes so fast. Two days ago I literally cried for half an hour about life and time and my family.
Of course I also must say I don't feel like this everyday, there are also days I am just relaxing, enjoying this no school year and then I am so relieved I didn't rush into college at the last moment because I was really considering that.
I really have to trust God more and stop worrying and I have to have faith that He will help me and guide me. I have to confess I didn't asked God or prayed to Him much about things related to my school desicion and I really feel embarrased about that because honestly it is a huge part of my life. I did talked to Him about it but not as much as I should have, I feel bad about that :(

From “Like 359” I say...girls you keep old people young!!!! On Halloween I’ll be 68 years old (I’ve been told all my life my parents got tricked instead of treated! Live with that a lifetime. 😃) Anyway I subscribed to your channel about a year ago. For ones so young, you speak the wisdom God has given you. The only difference between you and me besides the age is experience. Girls the words to slow down and seek God are bigger words than you realize! There was an old song “I Did It My Way” and I did. 🤨 Bad move. Over and over and over. But ya know what? God took the bruises and disappointments and helped me build a good life. I still have to live with some scars but God has used them for His glory. Keep up the ministry and enjoy your quirky personalities. God can use that more than you know too. You possess more power in your youth than you realize so keep letting God direct you one step at a time. And this ole lady will keep enjoying you and you remind me that we adults MUST love, support and pray for those coming behind us...Our young warriors. Love you girls. ❤️❤️

I think God has a special purpose for these times in our lives. I believe you should do what those scriptures say. Use the idle time to strengthen your relationship with God. I have a bachelor's and master's degree. I have been looking for a job for 3 years. I have applied to everything you can think of to try to get away from my hometown. At different times God provided me with the next place he wanted me to go. He also sent me a dream with the exact salary he wanted me to have. That narrows things down a lot but, I still don't know what I want to do so I am trusting Him to send me the job. In the meantime, I know I want to be married so I am working on my housekeeping skills. Spending time with my growing toddler. Doing more things to better my mental health and straightening out my finances and keeping faith in knowing that everything will work out for my good because that's what God wants. I am making 9.35 at my current job and that takes care of my household needs. I hold on to the faith that even though I am tired of struggling with money God will let this be my last season struggling with my finances. We have to be great over a little to receive the larger. I am listening you should too. :)

To answer the first question... pray pray pray possibly before bed, before a test etc ask for guidance and eyes that will see His plan. Also a quick like one minute devotion on your phone or something you can easily get into the word that might make you think throughout your day!
If you take a city bus to school open the bible app and read your devotion for that day.Whenever you catch yourself on social media.. ask yourself, have I spent time in Gods word today?

@@taenotswift98 I got it on the Amazon website over an year ago. It is a single column Bible, with some line art already printed on many pages. The margins are faintly lined and just a little under 2 inches wide.

I'm a lot younger than the age group this is meant for, but I'm about to turn 15 and am just trying to figure out where my life is going. I feel like God is calling me in so many different directions... Just to summarize, I'm about to get a black belt in karate, and I have been offered a job there to teach classes; I'm an artist and want to sell my work; I've always had a dream of working in an animal rescue/sanctuary; and most of all I want to work at my church-- only problem is that I don't know what I would do. I would love to help with the youth, but that's not really a job, and I think God is calling me to be a worship leader or something, but again, I don't think that's a job. The problem is that I have so many job opportunities in things I kind of enjoy, but my real passion is at my church, and I don't think I could get a job there. Any suggestions or ideas? I know I'm posting this kind of late and you might not see it, but it's worth a shot.
