Thanks for the video Sir. Really I learnt something new today, meaning of alpha in MFs and I was always in a wrong perception that higher the AUM higher and safer the returns would be.
It is kind of true, when the AUM increases the fund houses try to play it safe to delivery index/category level returns & their risk apettite also reduces. Coming to low AUM funds, they will be more aggressive because they want to attract more investors through high returns. So its upto the investor on what has to be done!

Since fund manager plays major role in performance point of view. So is there any way to check directly which Funda a given fund manager is managing at any point of time? Even when he changed his fund house, how to know whic AMC exactly he is managing the funds? Otherwise keep on checking a particular FM is there or not against a fund.

Not advisable to put everything in small cap itself.. better diversfy in midcap and index fund too along with small cap !! But in d end ur money ,ur wish bro.. take care !!

@@MoneyPurse I agree sir. But they stopped lumsum. Fund accepts only SIP. So not much inflows will come to that fund. It will be maintained very well
