Cool how the reason of death for the first one is the pilot getting shot and bc theres no pilot anymore the helo loses control, and the second reason of death is a missile
@@aqi_o2. that's why its unrealistic the fact that its showing the co gunner. Because the co gunner can control the Hellfire missiles and the chaingun.
@@jamesedmerdelacruz2395 it does show the pilot, as is evident by in the second one the struggle for control with the control stick and how in the start animation you can see the aeronautics yaw diagram (not sure the actual name), also the cockpit glass allows a better view. Similar to a two seater jet, the weapon systems operator/WSO would have an obstructed view by the weapons terminal in front of them. So the pilot does indeed get shot, the transition is just confusing. Iirc, the pilot does also have control over the 20mm gun while the WSO controls the hydra rockets and any other ordinance
Helicopters, while in hover state (slow flying or staying still in one spot), requires constant human's inputs to be stable. The helicopter spins around because the rotor on the tail in the back is not blowing hard enough to counter the force causes the spinning (Torque effect). For the first death animation, it is assumed that both the gunner (the guy seen in the cam) and the pilot (the guy in the back who's responsible for flying) are both shot dead so there's no more human input to keep it steady. For the 2nd animation, the missile probably blew the control surface so the pilot lost control authority on the back rotor, which also results in out of control spinning.
@@boombaka i love how minute some of the reasons for air vehicles to fail most irl jet fights that get within range of cannons if they do get that close would end in a few sprays as it only takes one bullet to hit a control surface or fuel line to either take out the plane or put it out of the fight
@@Random_guy788Yep, that animation is far more brutal. If you pay attention, some people say the AC-130 crew look at each other before all hell breaks loose as they know they are going to die.
From what I remember when I used no clip back on BO2 there was a pilot for the support chopper it was just a very low poly model. Still interesting to know tho I’d suggest you check it out.
One question, when i have chooper and when i try shot it aims down when i take up and up when i take down, can i change in settings or is it just the game?

not the pilot its the co gunner get shot

Both crewmembers have a stick to fly tho, so if just the gunner was taken out the gunner could take control and vice versa
Everytime a helicopter shot down, it always rotating 360 like crazy, wherever you hit the chopper
Yeah cause of physics

*Who feels bad for the chopper gunner pilots* 😔
You should feel bad for the gunship/AC-130 ones
yeah every time they die i feel so bad for using them
That is like all the pilots died in real world for decades, you should feel bad for them instead

Not me, they’re up in a machine of death raining down on the poor infantry, no wonder irl ground troops aren’t kind to downed fighter/attack pilots
I actually remember in the original trilogy, they never even added a pilot in MP, same for SP. I love how they’re doing it here.

the first one is shot down by small arms and the second is missie or explosion
The First Is Unreal because the Flex Is bulletprof

Idk if you guys noticed but the pilots change depending on your team, like: Specgru: Desert camo unf / Kortac: digital grey camo.
