You actually can make PTA work, using a WAY slower and not reliable combo :p, ""Jump without Q + E W midair > Q > AA *PTA prock* > Emp Q > AA"" so you can actually prock PTA before Emp Q for +8% bonus damage if you keep this combo in mind, I've been doing it in some games, and it feels good but yeah the fast normal combo and runes is the better way to play Rengar.
I tried Collector rush and it felt pretty good. Into Profane IE

I mainly play toplane but do love rengar what items would you recommend for that and specifically for umbral because I don’t feel like buying umbral in the top lane sounds to good? Thanks for the video conqeror/fleet sounds pretty good in toplane.

@@arthas236 It was since the patch that I got it fixed, but this patch it has been the strongest item in the game. Any Rengar not going LDR and IE as their two biggest damage bombs at some point in the game is trolling.

Been waiting for the build guild to drop for a while now. Rengar suffered a lot with the change in first strike and snowball-ability with the change to future market. Not only that my favourite item-lord's dominik got fucked hard with the deletion of the passive which makes it so hard to play against bruiser or tank
The only "nerf" that LDR took was against GIGA tanks which 1 team only has one of... the LDR change is overall a buff

I love rengar but lets ber honnest, im in gold. my team has 0 brain cells and I have no hands. Doesn't matter how fed I get on him and how many enemies I can kill in les than 1 second (3) we will still lose. carrying in piss-elo with an assassin is impossible. tanks here I come

When u were talking about pta change are u sure it doesent work on rengo cause like his q is an autoattack buff jst like yas q lets use as an example and when i play yasuo with new pta i can aa q aa to proc it idk why it doesent work on rengo tho(never tried pta on him nor rlly plan dont like the rune that much was just curious)
It’s not bursty enough.
All of rengars damage mainly lies in his first combo before he can proc PTA, therefor PTA doesn’t give much of an advantage as you’d think

I don't know what's happened but I swear my damage numbers on Rengar are just low as hell now. I used to put out top damage MVP games consistently and now I'm ending games still high impact but lowest damage on the team, I can't one shot people like I used to, I can't really fight in the majority of situations, it's so strange.

@@DrSparr0wsome, but not much, I definitely need to fix my build. but at the same time I can still one shot squishies and my damage isn't bad, but we get to the end of the game and I see insane gaps between my damage dealt and others, but checking total damage sometimes I'm even outpacing them, it's crazy. my last game I had the second highest total damage dealt in the game but only 18 thousand dealt to champions.
You should be building IE in almost all games and LDR in 100% of your games.
