The Last Showgirl is a 2024 American drama film directed by Gia Coppola and written by Kate Gersten. It stars Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, and Kiernan Shipka. Its plot focuses on a middle-aged Las Vegas showgirl who is faced with an uncertain future after learning that the revue she has performed in for three decades is scheduled to close. The screenplay was adapted by Gersten from her own play, Body of Work, which she based on her visits to the Jubilee! show shortly before its closure in 2016.

I agree with you. Pam was wonderful but it felt like it needed more depth. It reminded me a bit of The Wrestler but that film was much better in my opinion and obviously different in many ways, just similar themes

I quite enjoyed this film. Pamela Anderson totally defied my expectations. I actually think of all the performances in this film, Jamie Lee Curtis is the weak link.
The fact she got nominated for Best Supporting Actress at both the BAFTAS and SAG perplexes me.

I still can't believe Emilia Perez got nominated for a single award. Terrible movie.
Im honestly surprised Pam didn't get a nomination for this. She was great!
