Great review Nile. Sharp ride and a beautiful color, I have this shade on my Malibu. Love it! If they’d drop the 9AT into the Acadia I’d really be considering one and I’d have to get this color. Thanks for all the work you put in! Some of the best exterior shots/angles on UA-cam. 👍🏼
Glad you liked it, thanks! I'm always trying to get better angles and slow shots for our cars. I know a lot of other channels have prettier looking edits, but sometimes simple is best.
Oh gosh,I actually found this crossover exciting! We wanted the 1st gen version of this but we settled on a Acura MDX instead only because it was more exciting to drive.....how do I PM on here?
As always......wonderful review! This vehicle though beautiful, is somewhat of a letdown compared to the old Acadia! The old Acadia had a presence that this one simply lacks! This looks too much like other vehicles in the GM lineup of lessor quality! Beautiful.......though somewhat of a letdown to carry the Acadia/Denali nameplate!
We felt the same way with this, and the Terrain. The previous generations for both vehicles felt like stronger contenders in their segments, especially with the drop down in size and segment for both this year. We think that GM has a fantastic brand recognition with Denali, they shouldn't soil it. These vehicles should be the absolute best, and they're not quite there.
Agreed! We've got the 2019 CX-9 Signature booked, it has some small updates from the Mazda6 Signature that we think will help to keep it on the top of our list. The GMC is nice, but it just isn't great.
No doubt! That's one of the reasons we said during our road test that no one will ever pay $63k CAD for this vehicle. GM is always very good when it comes to rebates, discounts, and incentives on their vehicles.
You really can’t compare AMG and Denali. There’s no doubt Denali vehicles sell well for GM, but they aren’t even remotely close to the same type of sub-brand AMG is.
I wouldn't buy any vehicle with that engine. The 3.6 is just a disaster. Doesnt matter if its tied to a fwd vehicle or rwd vehicle it's still a reliability nightmare. It's sad because they sell so damn many of them in everything from the Camaro to the caddy xt6 to the canyon. They desperately need to retire it but instead just throw it in more vehicles every year
Manufacturers seem to be a lot more complacent now with engines. I remember when a new engine would come with a new generation of a car, and sometimes new engines updated mid-cycle.

One of my favorite car❤❤
The new one is even better! We're looking forward to feature it in the new year.

I think there's a way to send messages directly through the community tab, but there's always email! Nile@perpetualradio.ca.

@@PRNTestDrive well said!!!
Looking beautiful. Cheers
It's not a bad looking crossover, right? It just doesn't stand out.
Mr LIVESEY agree with you. Appreciate
Good review the mazda cx9 signature is more luxurious for less money.

Solid review! :)
Glad you think so, thanks!
You can easily get $6000-8000 discount from the GM dealers.

Except for GMC Denali brand has more profits than other labels like AMG.

The fake wood trims definitely look very FAKE!
Oh yeah! Fake wood is no good.

Great review, You can do a lot better than this for $52K!
We agree! The 2019 Mazda CX-9 is the first to come to mind. We have it booked in late November.
