Blessings! Another big thank you for bringing us to Gods Word in the Book of Matthew. My curiosity and cravings have been growing abundantly since I started being here with you in these videos the past 13 days. You are such an inspiration. God bless you always!!!
Before this lesson, I spent about 30-40 minutes reading the chapter and really asking questions. I think this showed me how much I’m learning from this new way of reading the bible 😊 I think I’m set for tomorrow when we have to read for ourselves. Thank you for all your help 😊
Your observation about Jesus patiently answering the disciples’ questions really spoke to me. It reminded me of James 1:5. Jesus came to make His Father and His kingdom known. It struck me today that He must delight when we ask Him questions. My study Bible points out that in verses 45-46, we are actually the fine pearls, and God is the merchant. This parable speaks of God sacrificing Jesus to redeem us. I really like your idea about sharing parables based on our life experiences. Right now, I am a wife and mother. I will have to actively look and pray for interactions with my family to share that represent the kingdom of Heaven.
Amazing! Oh I bet you have so many stories ("parables") to teach from the point of view of being a parent, the love of a parent, even when the children act a certain way... It doesn't have to be super deep, it's just real life 😉❤️
I absolutely LOVE your videos and I am learning sooo much! You are so sweet! But it’s so funny to me when you tell the mic “oh excuse me”😂 so polite. Cant wait for the upcoming chapters!❤❤
😂😂😂... call it the polite Canadian in me lol! But it comes out so automatically. It's more of an "oh excuse me" to you, thinking I just bumped it and it made a big BOOM sound in your ear hahahahahha. I kinda agreed with God that I don't want to be super edited, but really, truly be me ☺️So glad you're learning a lot 😉❤️
Hi Kaela, blessings from the UK. I have binged watched your channel over the last 3 days and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have come back to the Lord after many, many years away. I have the KJV and NKJV bibles, but I received my NLT filament bible today and it is beautiful. God bless you and your channel.
Which NLT Bible did you get? I got the sky blue every woman’s Bible and love it. It is beautiful and the filament app helps so much especially when we are traveling and I can not take all my study tools with me.
@@chrissenak7655 The one I decided to get was, Large Print Premium Value Thinline Bible, Filament-Enabled Edition LeatherLike, Brown Celtic Cross. The reason I got the large print is that I'm 71yrs old going on 40 🤣 and I find it easier on my eyes and I can read longer.
I am so so so glad you are here! What a testimony to share. Welcome home ❤️ I pray you enjoy your new Bible in such a fresh way - true conversations with the Lord 😉
Good Evening Kaela, I found your post 10 days ago and I love them. They have given me an insight to the Bible that I was missing. I study the Bible everyday and then once a week with a friend and we go over about 7 chapters in Matthew. She kinda depends on me to help her understand some of the Chapters and certain verses, I feel like I'm not competent to explain some of the verses, so we discuss it and we come up with one train of thought, so your videos have helped alot and let me know I'm on the right path. Thank you so much and God Bless You.
Wow! I'm so glad you're here! And, I love that you and your friend get together to discuss the Bible. That's incredible. Sometimes the hard part is that we want to understand, we want an explanation, we want the blanks filled in... and we want it all RIGHT NOW! But that's actually not how relationships work 😉 They grow over time as we put in time together. That's how I look at my relationship with God and how I spend time with Him in His Word. I don't always get answers. I don't always go super deep into explanations. Sometimes I just enjoy the ride, enjoy the story, enjoy the time ❤️
Sometimes I feel like I might not be brave enough to share my life’s parable with someone. I try training. I started writing my own psalms of prayers to God. I think it helps me build my faith n expectancy. It’s been a while since I’ve written. I should restart that n date them so I can have an account of every time God responds.
Be strong and courageous! He is with you! Remember how these 'parables' were actually just stories that the people could relate to, and Jesus used them to help people understand the Kingdom. It's not the same as a testimony, or even something super personal. Just an example others can understand ☺️❤️
This makes you ask the question was Jesus referring to the Pharisees when He mentions their unbelief? How may times must you show and give examples yet still they will not believe the Son of Man? Love how you bring a fresh light on the Gospels.
He spoke in parables to the crowds, so when he's explaining them to 'disciples' it would have been just the 12. Look at verse 11. Also the prophecy in verses 14&15 I think was about the Pharisees and explains part of why they didn't see him as the Messiah.

PRAISE GOD!!! 🙌🏼 Thank you for continuing to encourage me ❤️
Jesus is happy! Praise God for his word and grace. Amen 🙏
Hey Kaela.... The teaching by Tim Rivers you put in as a resource were absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for all you do.
Awesome! And you are so welcome.
You're right, I am craving the daily study. I love it!! ❤❤

I will have to check what my Bible says about the pearls.

Good afternoon Kaela one more chapter before we read on our own
I know!!! I'm so focused on equipping and teaching how to walk it out, but honestly, I do love reading it with everyone too ☺️
