I agree with you. It is terribly hard. I was born into a family filled with addictions and I lost them over their addictions. I wanted a family of my own to love and one by one I have started to lose them because of death or profound disability. It has been an extremely painful life, and I never want to return to experience it again. NEVER.

died in ICU after a massive open heart surgery...i could see and hear everything and i could also hear the thoughts of everyone trying to bring me back to life...i was so calm and peaceful and happy to finally leave this terrible place...they managed to bring me back and i remember the pain...holy shit the pain...we are talking about pain from scale 1 to 10 it was 15 lol...never felt such pain in my life before...it was beyond a human can stand.
I went through unbearable Pain after having 2 Fusions in my Neck Surgery. I spent the whole Night and half the next Day, yelling at the Nurses that I wasn’t getting any Pain relief. He’s so right. I had a SSE (significant spiritual experience) where a light being appeared in that glorious, loving light that he speaks of here. The light being simply said, “There is no judgment, just unconditional love.” That white, dancing, enfolding light is so loving that you can’t describe it in words. My brother passed away two and a half months ago.. we only had 2 and a half days with him in the hospital.. he was slowly dying.. I knew there was nothing we could do to save him… he tried so hard to look at me when he heard me tell him I loved him then faded back into what it seemed unconsciousness or his heavy sedation. He was unable to speak and move. But could hear us. We massaged him.. rubbed his chest.. kissed his forehead.. kissed his cheeks.. rubbed his earlobes.. music therapy.. we had an elder come in and sing him a healing drum song.. burnt sage for him.. they even shut off the sprinklers for that.. we brought him safety, love and comfort. My worry is that he wanted to speak to us but couldn’t….. no last words.. just pure helplessness.. just before he transitioned. We did our best to help him earth side to transition peacefully calmly and feeling loved. I’ve never felt so much pain watching my brother die right before my eyes. I had a little MG Midget I ran around in when I was 18-19Yrs Old. I gave it to my Sister when I joined the Military. That was a fun little Car. That was a wonderful Story. It’s not some dream either. Happened to me but the voice and hand helped me avoid the wreck. The feeling of love was euphoric. I missed the semi and was conscious so it was not an NDE. Hmm. I just knew that someone was out there ttaking care of me.
We are all energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can be transformed. I believe these NDEs are part of the transformation process. Sometimes the process is completed which results in death and rebirth (into what is anyone’s guess). If the process is incomplete, then you awaken as if it was all a dream. I think everyone will have a different near death experience (or journey to next destination) because everyone lives their own unique life. Those who believe in Jesus or some other higher power, we’ll see that as part of their near death experience, whereas somebody who does not believe in a higher power may experience something much different, but in a way they can relate to based on how they lived their lives. Similar to how we all dream differently.

I have read/viewed/listened to probably a conservative estimate of 800 testimonies of NDEs. Most are similar. The one thing that doesn't make sense is WHY we are on earth.

Best no frills, plain brown wrapper NDE I've seen. I'm a skeptic, most are a little too 'elaborate' for my tastes. Confused by the variety of experiences. Seems counter-intuitive to be that different from one another, though I concede there are many similarities, as well. Wish me luck. I absolutely dread my life review, I made so many mistakes, never killed anyone, never deliberately physically hurt anyone, never even been in a real fight, couple nights in county jail in my early twenties, 72 yrs old, so, so many regrets. Grateful for what I have, but terrified by my dark side, and being held to account for the many people I've no doubt hurt emotionally.

the bible is just one religious work. Other religious works from the far east and other distant places predate the bible by a looooong time. I'm thankful to be an ex pentecostal cult member who, during that time, read and memorized great swaths of the King James version. Read some other works and you gain the knowledge that ALL earthly religions are here to help us be kind to each other, and most religions try to help that cause.

I have so many questions, one of which is, what happens if you really don’t want to come back? Because you came back, you obviously won’t be able to answer that, right?
It makes one realise the peskyness of life on earth and what humans think matters, is so important at different stages of their lives. When there is so much more to offer in eternity, but we are self-grasping beings, with much to learn. I’ve been there myself, small-minded and self grasping. It takes time to get out of it. i sometimes feel sorry for the younger generation these days and how image, gross materialism and competitivenessis on the up and matters so much, and also the world is so fast and full of empty offers and experiences. And family and togetherness matters less. In there grand scheme of things, we’re pretty uninvolved still, and merits of this world only seem to be about technology and material advancement. It’s certainly food for thought.
@@thatguy3468That is cruel to me. If I knew I would start a new life and forget everything, over and over, and over again, that just seems heartless and meaningless. If there were an eventual end to all the cycles, then yes, maybe there’s a good explanation and the loooong journeys are worth it in the end when we finally get to just enjoy some form of eternity with all our past loved ones, but if there is no end to the cycles, then it’s hell in my opinion.
We are all versions of each other. There are no "past loved ones" because we are not separate from one another, ever. Everyone is our loved one, and everyone that ever existed or will ever exist is our loved one. Next time you go to the grocery store look closely at the checker; that's you.

Anybody who's had a near death experience.... when you get over there, do you get any sense that if you were to die permanently , that you would eventually be reincarnated again? Also, do you think that place could get boring over time the way earth does? Do we ever get to stay there for good? I have so many questions.

The soul looked a copy of the human body and left the body briefly to ask Bodine to heal the boys brain so the boy could speak again. The soul is not emotional but rather is matter of fact. The soul is here gaining experience from inhabiting a human. The human possesses the memory and emotions. Most humans are aware of the souls leading through dreams and intuition. It's not the human that has to learn but the soul that is learning. We don't really understand it. I'm surprised that he says he's been here 1000s of times.

All we really have is the here and now. You can't worry about what others may think about you. Starting tomorrow just concentrate on being positive. Don't let anyone else rent space in your thoughts. You start stacking positive thoughts and actions, treating others well and you're going to see that your thoughts and actions create your reality. Sounds like a bunch of bs right? Trust me it's not. Try it, what do you have to lose?
I was in a lucid dream when an important lady opened a book before a I sat in front of her desk, she paused and then said looking at the first page, “well your an old soul”. That’s all I got to hear, and it left me wondering , if I am an old soul does that mean I still am not getting things right ?

As human beings we are psychologically the entire humanity, not just representing it, but our thinking with its egocentrism has divided us, made us feel individualistic, separate. As an individual we think in terms of being separate with an identity, thinking as an isolated fragment, but just as you are thinking in terms of a fragment of the world - the reality is that the world is you but "individuality" with its identity and conditioned background is so strong that we can't see beyond this state. So our view of the afterlife is based on an egocentric viewpoint. So what happens when you die? When you or another die, you and the other are the manifestations of that vast stream of human action and reaction, the stream of humanity's egotistic consciousness, of behaviour and so on: you are of that stream. That accumulated stream has conditioned the mind, and the human brain, and as long as we remain conditioned by greed, envy, fear, pleasure, identity with its egotism, nationalism, beliefs, and all the rest of it, then we are part of this stream, stream of sorrow., it is sorrow because during living we do not fundamentally change, the sense of egotism with its identity and division prevails. Your organism may end but you are of that stream, as you are now deeply conditioned into a nationality, ideology, belief, groups, and identity in family , etc... while living, in that stream itself. That stream, changing, slow at times, fast at others, deep and shallow, narrowed by both sides of the bank and breaking through the narrowness into a vast volume of water - as long as you are of that stream (egotistical, tribal, ideological) there is no freedom, and freedom is paramount for a different state of consciousness to be.. There is no freedom from time, from the confusion and the misery of all the accumulated memories and attachments. It is only when there is the ending of that stream (while living), the ending, not you stepping out of it and becoming something else (while still in that framework of egotism), but the ending of it, only then is there quite a different dimension. That dimension cannot be measured by conditioned human thought.. The ending without an egocentric motive is the whole significance of dying and living. The roots of heaven are in "living and dying." So die today, and everyday to all memories and attachments, freedom from all conditioning, otherwise everything experienced will be a projection of the known and egotistical thinking. Death is too vast for the limited conditioned mind. Out of an opinion or a belief the mind can project an idea or an image of God; but it is a projection of itself, of its own chatter, of its own fabrication, and therefore it is not real. The real cannot be projected or invited, but can come into being only when the mind, the thinker, understands himself. Without understanding the thought and the thinker, there is no possibility of receiving truth, because the maker of effort is the thought, which is the thinker. Without thought, there is no thinker; and the thinker, seeking further security, takes refuge in an idea which he calls God, religion. But that is not true religion, that is merely an extension of his own egotism, a projection of himself. It is a projected righteousness, a projected respectability, and this respectability cannot receive that which is truth. Most of us are very respectable in the political, economic, or religious sense. We want to be something, here or in another world. The desire for existence in another world, in a different form, is still self-projection; it is still the worship of oneself, and such a projection is surely not religion. Religion is something much wider, much deeper than the projections of the self, and after all, your belief is a projection. Your ideas are self-projections, whether national or religious, and the following of such projections is obviously the gratification of the self and therefore the enclosing of the mind within a belief; therefore it is not fundamentally reality. Complete psychological freedom from egocentrism and conditioning are the priority, without doing this first all ancient wisdom ideas, and ideas of Astral planes, occult, etc..become another belief system and escape, further strengthening egotism, division and conflict.

I agree with you. It is terribly hard. I was born into a family filled with addictions and I lost them over their addictions. I wanted a family of my own to love and one by one I have started to lose them because of death or profound disability. Horrible!!! I had cervical fusion, throat n neck were so swollen that I'd sleep 10 minutes n once rem sleep began, I'd stop breathing. Couple times middle of the night by myself I stopped breathing also due to COPD. I stayed in a sitting position for 5 days before I could sleep.

He’s so right. I had a SSE (significant spiritual experience) where a light being appeared in that glorious, loving light that he speaks of here. The light being simply said, “There is no judgment, just unconditional love.” That white, dancing, enfolding light is so loving that you can’t describe it in words. Just trust tat it is there, loving you, even if you can’t feel it here and now.

My brother passed away two and a half months ago.. we only had 2 and a half days with him in the hospital.. he was slowly dying.. I knew there was nothing we could do to save him… he tried so hard to look at me when he heard me tell him I loved him then faded back into what it seemed unconsciousness or his heavy sedation. He was unable to speak and move. But could hear us. We massaged him.. rubbed his chest.. kissed his forehead.. kissed his cheeks.. rubbed his earlobes.. music therapy.. we had an elder come in and sing him a healing drum song.. burnt sage for him.. they even shut off the sprinklers for that.. we brought him safety, love and comfort. My worry is that he wanted to speak to us but couldn’t….. no last words.. just pure helplessness.. just before he transitioned. We did our best to help him earth side to transition peacefully calmly and feeling loved. I’ve never felt so much pain watching my brother die right before my eyes. We are all energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can be transformed. I believe these NDEs are part of the transformation process. Sometimes the process is completed which results in death and rebirth (into what is anyone’s guess). If the process is incomplete, then you awaken as if it was all a dream. I think everyone will have a different near death experience (or journey to next destination) because everyone lives their own unique life. Those who believe in Jesus or some other higher power, we’ll see that as part of their near death experience, whereas somebody who does not believe in a higher power may experience something much different, but in a way they can relate to based on how they lived their lives. Similar to how we all dream differently.

Best no frills, plain brown wrapper NDE I've seen. I'm a skeptic, most are a little too 'elaborate' for my tastes. Confused by the variety of experiences. Seems counter-intuitive to be that different from one another, though I concede there are many similarities, as well. Wish me luck. I absolutely dread my life review, I made so many mistakes, never killed anyone, never deliberately physically hurt anyone, never even been in a real fight, couple nights in county jail in my early twenties, 72 yrs old, so, so many regrets. I have so many questions, one of which is, what happens if you really don’t want to come back? Because you came back, you obviously won’t be able to answer that, right?
It makes one realise the peskyness of life on earth and what humans think matters, is so important at different stages of their lives. When there is so much more to offer in eternity, but we are self-grasping beings, with much to learn. I’ve been there myself, small-minded and self grasping. It takes time to get out of it. i sometimes feel sorry for the younger generation these days and how image, gross materialism and competitivenessis on the up and matters so much, and also the world is so fast and full of empty offers and experiences. And family and togetherness matters less. In there grand scheme of things, we’re pretty uninvolved still, and merits of this world only seem to be about technology and material advancement. It’s certainly food for thought.
If countless reincarnations is true, then it’s truly sad since we don’t remember our past loved ones anymore. How can “Love” allow this to happen?
Maybe remembering them when we cross over makes up for not remembering them here.
@@thatguy3468That is cruel to me. If I knew I would start a new life and forget everything, over and over, and over again, that just seems heartless and meaningless. If there were an eventual end to all the cycles, then yes, maybe there’s a good explanation and the loooong journeys are worth it in the end when we finally get to just enjoy some form of eternity with all our past loved ones, but if there is no end to the cycles, then it’s hell in my opinion.
We are all versions of each other. There are no "past loved ones" because we are not separate from one another, ever. Everyone is our loved one, and everyone that ever existed or will ever exist is our loved one. Next time you go to the grocery store look closely at the checker; that's you.

You are not your body, so you stay you but you change clothes so to speak. You get to live every aspect of every incident - being the subject, the object, the helper the passer-by, rich, poor, male, female, slave, master... what you learn you cannot lose even if you can't remember it. Anybody who's had a near death experience.... when you get over there, do you get any sense that if you were to die permanently , that you would eventually be reincarnated again? Also, do you think that place could get boring over time the way earth does? Do we ever get to stay there for good? I have so many questions.
Echo Bodine tells about an incident with a soul of a teenage boy who fell and was unconscious. The soul looked a copy of the human body and left the body briefly to ask Bodine to heal the boys brain so the boy could speak again. The soul is not emotional but rather is matter of fact. The soul is here gaining experience from inhabiting a human. The human possesses the memory and emotions. Most humans are aware of the souls leading through dreams and intuition. It's not the human that has to learn but the soul that is learning. We don't really understand it. I'm surprised that he says he's been here 1000s of times.

Please try to do good deeds, smile at strangers esp older people at the store, give a stranger who asks 10$, be kind as you can to anyone in your path. These things bring me joy. Do what you can. @@benfoster5387 Ben you'll never start feeling good in every day life until you realize this, there's nothing that you can do about the past, there's no sense worrying about the future because it doesn't exist yet. All we really have is the here and now. You can't worry about what others may think about you. Starting tomorrow just concentrate on being positive. Don't let anyone else rent space in your thoughts. You start stacking positive thoughts and actions, treating others well and you're going to see that your thoughts and actions create your reality. Sounds like a bunch of bs right? Trust me it's not. Try it, what do you have to lose?

I was in a lucid dream when an important lady opened a book before a I sat in front of her desk, she paused and then said looking at the first page, “well your an old soul”. That’s all I got to hear, and it left me wondering , if I am an old soul does that mean I still am not getting things right ?
It could also mean your choosing to come here for the advancement of others and souls helping others instead of themselves would be old.
That is the key: WE have to acknowledge our past differentiating the good and the bad, ultimately judging our own selves. If we are mature enough to acknowledge our wrongdoings and willing to correct them, then most likely we enter another stage. Just my opinion with no foundation other than it seems to make sense.

We strive for meaning in the afterlife. Our thoughts become our reality whether illusory or real... Each believer will see their own version of reality on the Astral plane, based on their memories and conditioned viewpoint. Even on the Astral plane projected illusions can exist, mimicking our thoughts.
We never investigate what our thinking is... As human beings we are psychologically the entire humanity, not just representing it, but our thinking with its egocentrism has divided us, made us feel individualistic, separate.
As an individual we think in terms of being separate with an identity, thinking as an isolated fragment, but just as you are thinking in terms of a fragment of the world - the reality is that the world is you but "individuality" with its identity and conditioned background is so strong that we can't see beyond this state. So our view of the afterlife is based on an egocentric viewpoint.
So what happens when you die?
When you or another die, you and the other are the manifestations of that vast stream of human action and reaction, the stream of humanity's egotistic consciousness, of behaviour and so on: you are of that stream. That accumulated stream has conditioned the mind, and the human brain, and as long as we remain conditioned by greed, envy, fear, pleasure, identity with its egotism, nationalism, beliefs, and all the rest of it, then we are part of this stream, stream of sorrow., it is sorrow because during living we do not fundamentally change, the sense of egotism with its identity and division prevails.
Your organism may end but you are of that stream, as you are now deeply conditioned into a nationality, ideology, belief, groups, and identity in family , etc... while living, in that stream itself. That stream, changing, slow at times, fast at others, deep and shallow, narrowed by both sides of the bank and breaking through the narrowness into a vast volume of water - as long as you are of that stream (egotistical, tribal, ideological) there is no freedom, and freedom is paramount for a different state of consciousness to be..
There is no freedom from time, from the confusion and the misery of all the accumulated memories and attachments.
It is only when there is the ending of that stream (while living), the ending, not you stepping out of it and becoming something else (while still in that framework of egotism), but the ending of it, only then is there quite a different dimension.
That dimension cannot be measured by conditioned human thought..
The ending without an egocentric motive is the whole significance of dying and living.
The roots of heaven are in "living and dying." So die today, and everyday to all memories and attachments, freedom from all conditioning, otherwise everything experienced will be a projection of the known and egotistical thinking. Death is too vast for the limited conditioned mind.
Out of an opinion or a belief the mind can project an idea or an image of God; but it is a projection of itself, of its own chatter, of its own fabrication, and therefore it is not real. The real cannot be projected or invited, but can come into being only when the mind, the thinker, understands himself. Without understanding the thought and the thinker, there is no possibility of receiving truth, because the maker of effort is the thought, which is the thinker. Without thought, there is no thinker; and the thinker, seeking further security, takes refuge in an idea which he calls God, religion. But that is not true religion, that is merely an extension of his own egotism, a projection of himself. It is a projected righteousness, a projected respectability, and this respectability cannot receive that which is truth. Most of us are very respectable in the political, economic, or religious sense. We want to be something, here or in another world. The desire for existence in another world, in a different form, is still self-projection; it is still the worship of oneself, and such a projection is surely not religion. Religion is something much wider, much deeper than the projections of the self, and after all, your belief is a projection. Your ideas are self-projections, whether national or religious, and the following of such projections is obviously the gratification of the self and therefore the enclosing of the mind within a belief; therefore it is not fundamentally reality.
Complete psychological freedom from egocentrism and conditioning are the priority, without doing this first all ancient wisdom ideas, and ideas of Astral planes, occult, etc..become another belief system and escape, further strengthening egotism, division and conflict.
