    Does the holiday schedule on a particular door override the current unlock schedule, meaning if I have the front door open from 9-5 pm M-F and a holiday week schedule will over ride the normal schedule and keep the door locked?

    Is that the HALF IN THE BAG music for half a second at the beginning?

    When I go to the devices tab, the only option available is “Association”. Is there another way to set schedule?

      Unfortunately, there is not. Your operator does not have enough rights to see the menus under Devices. You will need to have an operator with Installer access level edit your operator.

    I recently added an additional line to an already existing schedule to try and have a door lock at an earlier time on Fridays. The door however is not locking per the new schedule line checked only for Friday. Any common things to troubleshoot?

      I'm afraid there are multiple possibilities. It could be that the unlock schedule is not applied to the door. Could have a schedule for Friday on 2 different lines. Could be no communication with the controllers so the new schedule is not sent to the controllers....
      I'm afraid the best way to resolve this situation would be to contact your installation company and ask for a service call.

    I've set a schedule how ever during the outside business hours the door still stays unlocked for key access, is there a way to disable key access during non business hours?

    • @kantechsupport6044
      @kantechsupport6044 6 років тому

      Hello. You need to change the access level of the card. That is what dictates when cards work or not.

    • @dva511
      @dva511 6 років тому

      Kantech Support only have 2 access level, "always valid" and "front door". When switched to "front door" it doesn't unlock the door even during businesses hours.

      Hello again. I believe you are confusing Unlock schedules and Access levels. The Unlock schedule, programmed in Devices/door, is what tells the door to unlock and stay unlocked for a specific period of time. The Access level is when the card can be used and is programmed under Users/card. The Access level will never keep the door unlocked.
      If you feel your system is not performing correctly, please contact your installation company and request a service call to troubleshoot the issue.

    Can you put multiple schedules on a door?

    • @kantechsupport6044
      @kantechsupport6044 7 років тому

      Unfortunately, you can't. You can only select one schedule per door. That schedule can have up to 20 intervals depending on the Edition of the software and the equipment used.

    What is an extended schedule box?
    How do you create more than 4 entries on the schedule?

    • @kantechsupport6044
      @kantechsupport6044 6 років тому

      The extended schedule box will switch the schedule from 4 intervals to 20. Please note that you can only use them on KT-1 and KT-400 controllers.
