You can’t leave your knights unattended without the heroes to staff them from possession. That’s what turned the game around. The loser had advantage throughout most of the game, but the winner used his tools wisely and benefitted greatly.
HU had 20 limit advantage for 5 minutes and should destroy undead exp..This doesn't deny the fact, that possession is a stupid skill, similar to batrider's unstable concoction. Mortars can counter banshees only partially and i wonder if new polymorph could be better?
Yeah, easy to say as observer, but looks like UDs have hard time these days. If Hu used his advantage and dont give a time for transition for banshes, its over, but gj Happy.
SPOILER~ Starbuck fought valiantly, but the refusal to build more towers to stop gold harassment cost him. He was at his peak 20 food ahead of UD, and still refused to build more than one tower at each base. The nonstop peasant harassment completely turned an equal econ game into 2 base vs 1 base and clawed back all the early game disadvantage to allow Happy to build the exact counter. Fortitude is the HU with the best record against Happy, and it's precisely because he is willing to tower up when necessary (and sometimes even pre-emptively). This game is also a textbook example on how a top player turns a losing early game into a decisively winning game through sheer tactics.
@@konstantins1303 I'm just here to combat the stupid comments and analyses provided by the occasional idiots who never played the game and only watched a few videos. I've played this game since alpha and participated in the first year of balancing as part of the community testers team. It is one of my favorite games of all time. Due to recent interest some people are just starting to watch/play it, and some people think they understand it but they really don't, because it's got some very deep mechanics and intricacies compared to modern games.
This was Hu's game to lose. 3 staves + pally gave the edge on the attrition of experience, but mass knights also needs mortar support against banshees. Happy focused on economic damage and lucked out with the tactical win.
My interpretation is that Starbuck knows that the meta beats undead 99% of the time but finds it boring so purposely plays inferior off meta strats even if that means losing. And he stuck to his guns the whole game instead of transitioning.
Bruhhhhhhhhhh ..... you literally knew for a very long time, UD already did Banshee. No Breakers were in Transit, which is the only reliable counter once UD Heroes are way too strong ....
UD work hard to wipe out HU, deserved Victory to Happy, a pleassure watch that knights being possesed, "oh sacred Staff, why have you abandoned us😢" 😂😂
Maybe the reason Starbuck is so good at unconventional strats is because he hasn't mastered the standard meta 🤔 I'd play the strategy that gets me the most wins too, whatever it is

the winner pretended to be behind preparing banshee poccessing strat
and kept killing peasants
that felt good!
first time ive seen "mass possession" done like that. That was the game clincher/climatic ending.

I always like your comments man. Constructive and intelligent. As if you were the person behind this channel providing insights for the uninitiated.

Он просветил базу нежити и видел строящиеся храмы. Что же сделал хум? Правильно.. Ни.. Ху.. Я.. Продолжил играть масс рыцари.
He had so many knights possesed and continued to produce knights.

欧皇就是牛🐮,这半队骑士被魅惑了以后人族都懵逼了😂
excited to see Happy doing well!!! gogo UD!
me losing, me make banshee, me win, me skilled player Kappa
I noticed Starbuck had like 20 food more with the knights and he didn't do anything :(
So happy knows what banshees are... and uses them vs knights... and shocker... he wins. instead of making more destros and spiders . what a shocker.
you talk like happy never use banshee... Are you new?

Banshees...lying in wait. Gotta admit that mass possession was awesome to see.
