I always find it so weird that people think that’s what it’s like. They always seem to be surprised when I say that for me it just means that I have a hard time telling red and green apart

It's quite weird how color works. If you're told your whole life that a color is red but you perceive it as green, you think its red. Pretty crazy stuff.
Say you can’t see orange and red apart. If a pi chart consist of orange and red sections near each other wouldn’t that make it hard to read properly? I’m just curious if what I’ve known about colorblindness is correct or not.
You're not wrong but only because culture uses the term incorrectly (making it correct :/), colorblind means unable to see colors (like dogs). People with color deficiency are often referred to as being color blind which is technically incorrect as they can still see colors, if not even most colors as typically it's just some that are an issue for people.
