Simple pattern for a beginner You always give the hook size As a beginner i woould like to know what weight the yarn is and weather cotton or acrylic , otherwise in my enthusiasm i end buy all kind ofvthreads !
First color brand yarn: craft smart( 4 medium yarn) 100% Acrylic; second color brand yarn: I love this yarn (4 medium yarn) 100% acrylic yarn.
Firstly dont het hung up by this, if you look on the label of yarn the bast majority will give hook size indication and actually everyone has a slightly different tension. If you like a pattern find a yarn you like and try it using the recommend hook size for the yarn or find a yarn that matches the hook size in the video plenty of online pages offer help for that, even if its not the one shown you may get some amazing results. Happy crochetting

@@lizirwin5309 lots of thinking for each row. Row 10 changes so corners are with 2nd color, then it goes back to original color. I'm wondering if eventually I'll end up with more of the diamond shapes. Not sure if this makes any sense... But I hate to join squares, so I'll keep going in the round for a while. I'll post a picture of what I have so far. I don't think I quite followed the pattern at the beginning.

Very pretty pattern. I was thinking the same thing. To keep continuing the pattern until it’s a blanket. Might be kind of tricky with switching colors but worth a try.
