Get Sram Eagle on your E.thirteen hub or wheels

  • Exactly. Bought the part from a shop. Not expensive. E.thirteen isn’t so prideful that they don’t offer you a way out of using their ridiculous cassette and freehub. They made an XD driver for many of their hubs. Make sure you get the right one for yours. Go Eagle!

    wait, isn't the original freehub an XD freehub that requires E13's dumb tool to remove the aluminum chunk of the cassette. Or has E13 concocted their own XD like driver specific to their cassette for OEM. My 2017 YT jeffsy came with an XD driver

      sorry for the late response. I've been out of the shop for a long time. Anyway, the original freehub on this bike was spec'd as the E13 freehub body. There's no way of putting a different cassette on it without changing the freehub body out. the e13 and XD are actually quite different. Beyond the driver, had a lot of problems with these hubs. As a lone voice, I can't really get on board with the e13 products. Dave is trying to reinvent the wheel. He doesn't need to. At least you have the XD driver on your wheel already!
