It's so genuinely refreshing having a top 10 level be memory based instead of having a sea of frame perfects and straight fly. I hate actually playing memory levels but it's at least nice to see something genuinely original and interesting near the top

When you release the button, the screen will become the same as the color of the key that was lit. Essentially, the key that lit up when you release the button is the key you collect.
im not gonna lie i genuinley think that the part at 1:50 when fuly decprated is the best part in geometry dash. with the song in the background it literally does perfectly and the deco goes super well with the theme of the level (which is a purple bluish factory and hallucinations)
i can never understand how do people find it fun to play levels where you cant actually see whats going on at this point you could just black out the entire level with all the obstacles invisible, and put some random effects on the screen and it would be as legible as the limbo level
I thought that the layout would be easier, but it just made me see some of the parts that I didn’t even knew existed, my god it looks so much harder mow
there's D blocks so you can slide, but some of the spikes within are real so you have to click to avoid them, but they aren't hard. in that section the hardest part is the pink dash orb which is a suuper tight timing
Tried doing a practice run with layout mode on, needless to say I gave up as soon as I got to the first ship. Still confusing as shit without any deco.
It’d be a lot of work and mangling to do, but it’d be fascinating to see this stripped down to its functional equivalent without fake orbs or any uninteractive movement or terrain, with just the one correct path. Not that there’s any particular reason to make it, just, I find the idea neat
of course random dude who has clubstep as their hardest would say limbo is no that hard if all memory stuff was removed... but it is harder than tartarus even if it's not memory level. reason why it doesn't have any fp counters on yt is because it's hard to check + there's several ways to beat this level. i saw some kids saying there's no fp in limbo so it's easy level besides memory stuff.
I wonder how would limbo look without the visual noise. Like, as little moving parts as possible without changing the gameplay, and even stationary parts are only the ones that affect the actual gameplay
The level highlights a key and you have to play as the keys move around. You collect the correct key at the end and that determines whether you die or not.

NOTE: All the keys glow and get a color, and then they all glow in a random order. EVERY SHUFFLE MOVEMENT IS RANDOM.
can someone explain how's the ending of Limbo, i don't understand about "Key is waiting your decision and release" + how do u even track the keys when u actually try to spam wave instead of tracking them
before the spam starts one key at random flashes, that’s the one you have to track. the movements are random, and you watch them while using your peripheral vision to keep track of the wave. then when that column with the spike appears, you hold to stay at the top of the inside of that column (if you release too early you die). then each key flashes one by one and you let go when the key you were tracking flashes, and if you picked the right one you beat the level
I can't comprehend what's going on. U can't even beat the very beginning of the stage and I'm baffled how even a singular human made this level or beat it. Who are the people who torture themselves like this.

once you learn limbo, the path you're traveling on is very clear, your brain kinda filters everything else out
