Hey Happy Fathers Day to the Dads out there... let your Dad jokes be strong! Here's the full kitchen gadget testing playlist if you want to grab the popcorn and have a Barrathon ua-cam.com/video/hECAxPxsdmo/v-deo.html
Loose leaf tea always lets a bit of the tinier leaves out of the vessel unless you have a very fine filter for it. The bagged kind even lets a bit of tea out, if you look at the bottom of the empty container the teabags were in, you'll see the powder-like leaves that have fallen through. You usually don't end up drinking too much of the escapee leaves, as steeping lets them settle to the bottom of the teapot/teacup so you can leave the like teaspoon of tea that's left to hold all those leaves. Also! It seems like you're more of a sweet tooth guy, rather than the bitterness of black tea! (Honestly if you hate plain black tea then you will hate ANY black tea) Might I suggest trying out a herbal/tisane tea? They're mainly dried fruit and/or flowers, and don't have black tea leaves in it so it doesn't taste bitter at all. Maybe you'll like that better for testing tea gadgets. Tisane tea is definitely the sweetest kind of tea, and it's even great to brew some and chill it for iced tea!
It's because of how it was designed, salt pots typically have a singular hole (which the black pug had) and pepper pots typically have 3 or more (which the white pug had)
LaughingSquid I have met some people who think it is like you said but i Google it and found out that it is like i said, also it makes alot more sense when you think about it. Most people use alot more salt than pepper, makes sense ☺️ You learn something new everyday! 😉
That condiment gun is just like the pbj gun from Meet the Robinsons! How neat! i bet you could put other things in it, what are some good combs? Cream and jam, caramel and chocolate, ect.
in the US tailgating is when people get trucks, or Vans, and bring grills and drinks (more than likely at a sports game) and grill food while waiting for the game to start
Squealed an actual squeal of delight when I loaded up my UA-cam homepage and saw a new gadget video 😂 I'm so happy, it always feels like there's like a year between each video (even though I know you are very goodnto you viewers and update regularly) and I always get so excited for new ones!!
In the US, tailgating also means getting right on someone's bum while driving, but it's also used to mean: parking and (usually) grilling and drinking outside of a stadium (typically for sporting events) before the event starts, in case you didn't know.
I'd personally say 1 hole is pepper and 3 holes is salt, but then again i dislike too much pepper seeing as only a small amount can overpower some foods
you should have a gadget week, like 5 gadgets per video every day for a week...or something, I don't know, just trying to think of a way of you getting through them all a bit quicker lol
When you pulled out the frankfurter hot dogs, i couldn't help singing "You're a hot dog, but you better not try to hurt her Frank Furter" if you get the reference you're awesome
With all your gadgets you probably could make a really cool homecooked meal for friends/family using only the gadgets. Would be pretty interesting to try
We have one of the breakfast sandwich makers, and it's amazing. I like to put some avocado (seasoned with salt, pepper and smoked paprika) on the bottom half. My partner often just makes an egg muffin with brown sauce to eat on his way to work. Utterly delicious and so easy to clean up.
You could just get a frying pan. Cook all the things the same, can use different meats, get a better result and easier to use and clean up. Also can use it for other things too... probably cheaper as well. It literally outperforms this thing in every single way.
@@bartonez123 I would disagree because it makes assembly easy and it seems pretty easy to clean. I have made sandwiches and muffins on the stove and no matter how much oil you use the egg will always stick to it and it’s a pain to clean.
Hey Barry. love your videos. We have the breakfast sandwich maker and love it. Something we found made it easier to close top is to add egg and let it cook about 2-3 minutes and then add top piece of bread. Also sometimes the bread and egg were smashing together too much and was a mess of egg on outside of bread when put them both on right away.
Nope. Cider is definitely alcoholic. See the ever reliable en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cider for proof. I believe in the undeveloped world you add "hard" in front of it to distinguish between cider and juice, as if anything above 1.5% is needing to be labelled as dangerous.
I think that Barry is one of the most amazing youtubers because most get famous and have no time for there family but he not only includes them in videos but he still leaves time for them when he's not making videos or editing
That final Egg McMuffinizer thing at the end honestly seems more complicated, messy, and a higher chance to burn yourself than just using a toaster and a pan. It's a horrible unitasker and doesn't make cooking an egg sandwich any easier. Also, side note, tailgating here in the states not only refers to riding someone's bumper in traffic like you said, but also the act of having a cookout in the parking lot right before a sporting event. Typically it's an American football game, but any sporting event will do.
I actually owned one of those (before forgetting it in the last apartment I lived in...) and it was amazing. The thing I loved most about it was that it cooked an egg in a good shape to make the sandwich. And it was fun. The problem here is that he used way too big of a piece of meat, so it didn't sit properly.
MysticJhn with the sandwich maker, it was just because his meat patty was way too thick. If you have the proper size patty, then it's actually a LOT easier to make than normally making one.
I have a double one from Hamilton Beach and its very simple. I barely read the directions and i was off and running. His meat patty was fare to big and when he dropped it the cook plates popped off the machine. you are not suppose to drop it. the handles do not get as hot as he makes it look. but if your afraid you will get burned just a paper tower folded in 4s will be just fin. an oven mitt is way to think you wouldn't be able to grab the handle
This video popped in my "Recommended" section last night. Clicked on it... And now just finished watching the whole playlist. 😂 This series is very entertaining to watch. 👍
No. He read it out loud and the box said that squeezing it will make the water flow inbetween the tea leaves and get the flavour out. So itis meant to be squeezed while brewing the tea. And then after the tea is done you can squeeze it more to get the remaining tea out. :)
Trying the tea made me laugh so hard my eyes watered. I feel the same way, and am pretty sure I've said the same things to people when they insist I should like it! "But have you tried with with...?" "but you haven't tried THIS kind" "maybe you're brewing it wrong" "are you making sure that....?"
I love watching the kitchen gadgets videos, you mentioned having some for people with disabilities, I have hand 🖑🖐problems and drop things easily and don't have the strength I used to have so it would be great to see some gadgets for that😊🖒
Also, @My Virgin Kitchen - You really should give being a car mechanic a dabble, given your superior technical inclination, you would more than likely rock the workshop within hours.
So just started watching your videos and I really like them. This one was entertaining and I just felt the need to express how shocked I was when you made your breakfast sandwhich that the cheese did not stick to the peice that holds the egg... I was actually expecting a mess from that so wow. Will be continuing to watch and have subscribed.
Haha!! Cupping the muffin maker!!! You’re too funny, I’m laying in bed after 10 pm and hubby just came in to find out what’s so funny lol! He could hear me all the way downstairs! Think I just lost 2 pounds laughing!! Thanks!!!
The way you feel about tea is exactly how I feel about coffee, down to the friends suggesting adding milk and sugar. Also, I own a teafu, and all the leaves you see were stuck to the rim of the half you scooped with. You have to clean all the extra leaves off really well to avoid having so many. It still works well though!
It you put a tea infuser in hot water carefully and wait about 30 seconds before you stir it gives just enough time for the leaves to unravel and expand just enough to not be able to fit through to holes in the infuser. Some small bits will still go through though. The higher quality tea I have found has large leaves and do not have the tea dust that you can see in your cup. Smaller leaves infuse quicker but have a more bitter taste, in my opinion. Larger leaves have a gentler flavour and avoids the taste of tannins but take a little longer to infuse for the same strength of tea. You might like to try flowering tea, personally I don't much like the taste but they look really cool.

Did it annoy anyone else that the pepper should have been in Boston and the salt in Amy or is that just me?
Emma Holden I was just about to comment this!
Boston had the single hole which is usually used for salt so...
Emma Holden salt is coarser so it was right
Okurka yeah that’s how I’ve done it my whole life
Salt usually has more holes then pepper but to be honest, i kinda like a black pug with salt
Loose leaf tea always lets a bit of the tinier leaves out of the vessel unless you have a very fine filter for it. You put salt in the black pug, and pepper in the white pug!
What kind of monster are you?!
StallingTiger Yeah I know right
It's because of how it was designed, salt pots typically have a singular hole (which the black pug had) and pepper pots typically have 3 or more (which the white pug had)
It is the other way around because people usually want more salt than pepper (therefore more holes) but otherwise you are right :D
Really? because everywhere I've been (uk) it is been the way that I said :/

Breanna Brashears such an underrated movie.
Breanna Brashears ha! I thought that too!
Same here! That's the first thing I thought of!
in the US tailgating is when people get trucks, or Vans, and bring grills and drinks (more than likely at a sports game) and grill food while waiting for the game to start
Distorts Gaming it's also when someone drives very close to the ass end of your car... Usually agressively.
Waitin to see this comment the fact he didn’t know what a tailgate was was very strange & british

People are complaining about the salt and pepper.. and I'm just hear sniggering about "nipply bits"
+Jonesman Oxygen ditto
In the US, tailgating also means getting right on someone's bum while driving, but it's also used to mean: parking and (usually) grilling and drinking outside of a stadium (typically for sporting events) before the event starts, in case you didn't know.
It also means that in the uk sometimes too
Yeah we used both definitions in Canada too
Tailgating : When someone is so far up your bum that you hope they're wearing a condom.
I wouldn't mind one a week. I am not a fan of cooking videos. but I somehow found you through these gadget videos and love them so much.
Surely salt would go in the white dog and pepper in the black one?
I was living on the edge, but yes that makes sense
haha yes, it's one of my faves in the series
capness1228 He got it right for the ketchup and mustard Gun.
I'd personally say 1 hole is pepper and 3 holes is salt, but then again i dislike too much pepper seeing as only a small amount can overpower some foods
I was thinking that two, but maybe its a cultural difference?
I died laughing when at the same time you did, said "diabetes".
Or, as I was going to type it before my laughing fit: "DiabeTEAS"
you should have a gadget week, like 5 gadgets per video every day for a week...or something, I don't know, just trying to think of a way of you getting through them all a bit quicker lol
Or do one video a week, with 3-5 gadgets
maybe, he has a LOT of gadgets to get through, though lol
Albinojackrussel not 3-5, if he's gonna do a video a week. I'd say do anywhere from 7-10 gadgets a video if it's a video a week.
iamdb1990 if its to often people get to used to it and stop watching.
Maybe like he is doing it right now but every 2 weeks seems good
well this video has I think 4 items in it, so don't underestimate the time and effort that goes into doing these
Loved the pac man glass! Great gift idea.
When you pulled out the frankfurter hot dogs, i couldn't help singing "You're a hot dog, but you better not try to hurt her Frank Furter"
if you get the reference you're awesome
Gotta love that movie :)

Angelica Jie its my favourite
hahah I'm glad I'm not the only one irritated by the salt and pepper going into the wrong pugs 😂
also, hate tea too but why add sooooo much milk? ahahaha
But why is it irritating,he knows what's in what and the really should be less hole in salt containers as too much salt is not healthy. : )
takes a sip
super sweet dirty milky water
adds more sugar takes a sip DIABETES
that cracked me up . just the way he brought it .

am I the only one who think that tea device made for squeeze tea AFTER, so the tea doesn't drip onto the table?
I think both. Pump it while in the water to get water through faster, lift and squeeze to get rid of liquid before standing up.
No. He read it out loud and the box said that squeezing it will make the water flow inbetween the tea leaves and get the flavour out. So itis meant to be squeezed while brewing the tea. And then after the tea is done you can squeeze it more to get the remaining tea out. :)
Getri Tomson nah still sounds like it could go either way
Thanks for making me laugh while being so informative :) happy Father's Day to you!
Why don't you try and test one gadget with every recipe video? Try and use a gadget that you can use for the recipe that you're making?
you really shouldnt squeeze tea, it releases tannin and makes the tea more bitter.
Barry, you should do two or even three gadget testing videos a week if you have so many gadgets.
Hey, please make a vid in which you compare all your butter dispenser gadgets. please would be awesome
that muffin maker looks like a fake Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker
Our family loves the breakfast sandwich maker thing!!! We use it every morning. 😀
ok but this channel deserves way more subscribers !!
Best way to end the day? Come home to find another kitchen gadget video from Barry 👌🏻👌🏻

Jade Little Mix yeah we don't care
Ban the Architect Deapicable me 3? When did I write that?
This is my favorite video yet. Its so funny. As a coffee addicted American i vehemently agree that coffee is preferred over tea
I suppose you can try drinking tea like us Americans and drink it iced. I adore sweet iced tea.
He needs to try southern sweet tea
I was thinking the same thing, probably because a I am from Texas though.
He makes the tea not strong enough
@@nelsonsyphus3210 he's brewed it long enough before and has always had the same reaction.
Amy & Boston are the best lol! Pugs are my favorite breed ever & they're just adorable! :)
try to add a bit of evaporated milk in your tea it tastes great

VinnytotheK It's 9:43 am for me
I LOVE how you called that tea gadget standing up "Fish Mode" it was really funny!
*DO NOT* squeeze your tea, it extracts bitter tasting tannins. Let it draw for longer if you want it stronger.
Don't brew it longer, use more tea
If you brew it longer, it can get bitter
