    I always keep a masterwork cloak, with fabric made from 75% Tremere just in case I need a favor from an Elder Tzimisce.
    "Yes, my tailor used only the heartstrings of Tremere neonates. It took ages to farm them."

    I started planning a fledgling Tzimisce who disguises themself as a Toreador for a modern San Diego Anarchs campaign, and this was a lovely background on the clan!

    Some friends and I just started a one shot (that might continue later) and I’m playing one of the fiends ran from the Sabbat and who’s now trying to prove himself to be allowed to stay with the anarchs. We’re breaking into a Tremere ancilla’s personal haven. So thank you for the lore so I can play him right.

      Lore By Night odd question but as I haven’t played one before could I ask for body mod ideas? Any are cool but mostly things that can be hidden as he’s trying to keep his clan a bit of a secret. I have moved his heart to his pelvis and it’s wrapped in bone but other then that I don’t know and I can’t find many good examples of changes they can make.

    • @LoreByNightVtM
      @LoreByNightVtM  4 роки тому +4

      First of all, Tzimisce Vicissitude does not effect organs. You could move your pelvis to your heart, but not the other way round. You cannot alter organs with Tzimisce Vicissitude.
      Second, any body modifications would cause some suspicions, unless you had them covered up, only to unveil for dramatic emphasis.

    You know the way that you talk and your voice you sound like Beckett and I like it you have a Beckett feel to your voice. Always questioning always contradicting and being a little bit sarcastic whenever you getting a little bit of information you're always skeptical. Getting down to the real nitty gritty facts about kindred what is true and what's not true but reading what you've already recorded.

    Imagine a medical practitioner/surgeon also versed in the general fields of biology and bio-chemistry... We have such sights to show you! I had some ideas : a "mammalian tarantula" made from the bodies of cats, the bones hollowed to have the lightweight property of those of birds, their teeth merged to make two big ass fangs with tubes to inject a venom secreted from their repurposed viscera (the whole "predigest and slurp up kind of deal), the muscles and tendons reduced in mass but stiffened and tensed to immeasurable levels, with all the necessary extra joints to make an agile and fast nimble climbing jumper... and their eyes... I always wondered how far the ability of vicissitude extended. How Do I mean? By not only making bigger eyes, with a wider larger photo-sensitive surface, but by adding to that sensitivity by adding "extra parts" on the microscopic level, that is, rods to the retina from the other spare eyes. Instead of 4 claws per legs, they would be merged and repurposed into 2 thick large unretracktable claws to help with climbing... and maiming... and so on, and yes, they would have cute puppy eyes and fluffy fur like jumping spider, for a bit of that "cute yet creepy" factor, and they would purr, no spider webs, saddly. This is only one idea of many, even had the idea of creating "living statues", either as guardians or a form of torture.

  • @brianlewolfhunt

    The wiki brings up some aspect of control for the clan, as the dirt thing has been replaced by things that the vamp has an attachment to or dominance over, and the entire host/guest relationship is an association to that. That part I do find intriguing as well, as a clan that is described is inhuman even by other vamps have such strong attachments. Am I off base with my speculation?

    Pronunciation confusion originates in using latin alphabet to spell it. If one knows Russian then things become more clear: Vampire=Вампир=Pierces (You)
    Tzimisce=Змеистый= Wyrm-like.

    Not sure if you will see this comment on an old video butbhere it goes anyway. Great job this is my favorite clan by far. I used to play VTM in the 90s and I have latley got hit by the nostalgia bug hard for all things VTM. Sadly I no longer have my books but im thinking about getting them again. I dont know anything about V5 so my reference are all old. I had the orginal Sabbot book and then when dark ages came out i always playes an old clan or what i called true clan. I seen on the wiki i think some lore has been changed a lot about demon etc. I always had vis etc. I look forward to your other clan breakdowns etc. Its great to know the World of Darkness is still around.
