Basically, my brother-in-law. The poor man just wanted to pet her any time he came over. 😂 My cat died unexpectedly the first week of December. She wasn't even 10 years old and was expected to live into other her 20s. I was in high school when my parents surprised me with her. My now brother-in-law had recently started dating my sister at the time, so it's not like my little floof wasn't raised with him coming over. She was just that shy, and that skittish towards anyone who wasn't immediate family. Every single time he came over, he'd try at least once to pet and befriend her. The closest he got was when she'd take food from his hand. Never did let him pet her, though. 🤣
Sorry about the loss of your kitty I had a cat similar to that as a kid myself. She would run from my dad, until he brought out a little treat for her. The other cats caught on and would come running whenever he called her name 😸
