Then came the surreal moment: my patient wheeled himself over to a drawer and pulled out a paper pad, scrolled through it, then- with me standing there watching and listening- CALLED JERRY KRAMER to congratulate him....it was just unreal. This guy simply picked up his phone and called a Hall of Famer. I stood there with my mouth hanging open while they talked for 10 minutes or so. It was the nonchalance of it. Just a stunning experience.

Best guard I've ever seen. He was the best lineman I ever saw in a 20+ year window at Michigan too who were spitting out NFL linemen every year. The refs stripping him of his ring when him n Walter Jones basically paved Sea way to a SB.

A lot of lineman do because that extra weight is just for while they're playing. They wouldn't be that big outside of the league in a lot of cases.
