- Old school hot rod builder and off-road racer is building his ultimate Ford Ranger prerunner and it's badass. He's done a lot of desert racing himself and previously worked at Walker Evans, so he knows a thing or 10 of building trucks and he's putting all his knowledge into this truck. There are some very forward-thinking ideas here that we think you guys could use on your builds no whatever of what it is. Enjoy the inspo!

I think the 10 years of building is totally worth it, that truck has so much craftmanship in it that would be hard to find in any other truck.
Everything is so clean and tucked and rigorously well thought out that he makes this level of work look easy! I just want to lick that carbon fibre lol looks tasty! 😛

You know he loves building (in Morgan voice) "sanitary" hot rods when you notice the slots in the hardware head, face the same directions. Delicious.

The amount of fabrication that went into this truck and thousands of man hours is insane and most don't appreciate it or fully grasp it. And he built it not bought it and can actually explain stuff without needing the dude who did the work.. The attention to detail is astounding 100%!

This build is bonkers. Some of the other builds might look a little prettier or have some very creative ideas, but this build just says strength and dependability in every single nook and cranny of that vehicle. This is a fucking weapon,

I would like to see some pounded hard prerunners showcased, like ODR Roy's GMC Canyon, trucks that get a good prep between beatings but don't see fresh paint jobs and Armor All.

I can relate to the comment about 10 Year Club, my son has a 1951 International p/u (street truck/hot rod) that has been a project for 8 years. Other projects keep bumping it off of the priority list, we keep saying we need to get back to it, & then another sweet deal on a project comes along. With 5 trucks & 1 car between us, it's hard to share the love between all the vehicles & we still want to turn one of the trucks into an offroad truck or get an off road truck project. As always, great video & please keep them coming.

Fuk! 1000hp in a ranger. What will it have at the wheels. 800or more. How often is he gonna need to rebuild motor. If I had 500hp to my wheels I would be happy. I’m all about reliable. And I don’t want to have to rebuild a motor to often. But this is a great build for sure one of the better ones you terra has covered.
