- While there are more than 130 attempts to date Mahabharata and more than dozen attempts to date Ramayana, all of them have lead to different proposals based on, supposedly, same set of evidences from these epics. This causes lot of confusion and makes ordinary individuals wonder if they can trust either these researchers or the evidence, or both!
The problem is not in the evidence, but rather of irrational and subjective methods employed by most researchers. Later, The self-proclaimed scholars,pseudo secularists,and pseudo historians of JNU took upon themselves the job of deciding what is Indian history. Given that India has history going back to beyond 12000BC it is quite likely that other civilisations from eastern Africa through Ethiopia and into Egypt were thriving and trading with India (this is my inference). Indian civilization has always inspired me since my youth because of its myths, music, culture, history, balance modernity/tradition. As an astronomy history lecturer at the university in Spain, however, I found that it was really difficult to find indian references in the astronomical literature... I always cite the incredible indian schools of astronomy of the V, VI, VII th centuries (the great astronomer Aryabhata for example saved the world from geocentrism). But elsewhere they are never referred, for example... Another unbelievable example of lack of propaganda is that Mohenjo daro is the oldest civilization in the world but we always talk about Sumeria and Acadia which is ridiculous since settlements in the Indo river are the oldest in the world by 2000 years... The ancient land bridge between India and sri lanka is also most probably the most ancient road in the world and it is never cited in the world's enciclopediae as a very important historical achievement. Heartly, I hope this changes in the years to come with these magnific lectures and the rise of international indian scholarship and the divulgation of this crucial information to understand humanities true story.
History has been heavily modified and you know the old saying, history is written by the victors. A lot of known "history" was discovered by British archeologists and historians in the 17th-19th is centuries.
They'd make a sweeping declaration on the age of a society or civilization and that was that, we've accepted it since. Any new discoveries have to fit the timeline they made up.
This isn't true for all history, we generally know the Roman and greek timeline and any other society who kept written records. But the rest is up for debate, the pyramids of giza are a good example.
Bhirrana which is another historic indus valley civilization site found in Haryana has been carbon dated to 9500 years old or about 7500 BC, which is much older than even Harappa and Mohan jodaro sites situated in present day pakistan, also there is a huge number or underwater sites like dwarka and many sunken sites near chennai and other southern parts of india as well indicating that civilization existed on the whole subcontinent compared to just the Punjab region. It's just that the claims of Indian historians is always negated by western scholars in an attempt to keep the christian or abrahamic dogma alive i guess.

This is fascinating. There is evidence that human culture is much older than we thought. I believe Vedic culture is ancient. I've been to India and studied some of the texts. Thank you.

However in Indian ancient history, evidences like Rock inscription, Pillar inscription, Stupa inscriptions do not point towards any 'vedic culture' rather they point towards a Buddhist culture in india.
for example, the stone inscriptions have Pali Language on them, whose script is called Dhamma Lipi by Samrat Ashok himself.
No single such evidence of sanskrit language exists, like Pali's does.
whereas the 'vedas' are in sanskrit.
Given the evidences, this undoubtedly proves that vedas are written much later, in the later language of 'sanskrit'

sanskrit itself is an 'adaptation/sanskaran' of the original Pali of Buddhist times. Hence its name
British historian and linguist Sir James Princep deciphered the Pali Prakrit language found on ancient( c.2600 years ago) rock inscriptions, pillar inscriptions, stupas.
Upto that time period, no evidence, check it, no evidence of any sanskrit exists!
And sanskrit script is very different from Pali script.
Pali looks prima facie primitive, meant to be inscribed on hard materials, like Egyptian Cuneiforms!
whereas sanskrit is much curvier and ornate, which is hardly practical for being inscribed on hard material, but suitable for paper.
The name of Pali script is "Dhamm lipi" as named by Emperor Asoka Maurya in Sanchi Stupa and other places as well, because this was the original language in which The Buddha spoke and taught Dhamma.
These things are already well recorded and established in History, one can see them in National Museums, from India to England to Japan to China, anywhere its influence spread in ancient times.

Wish I could go back to 9th class kid that I was...who first read very bad writing in our NCERT CBSE text book, and got fascinated with Mohenjodaro and Harappa and yet by the time I passed my 12th I was so upset. There was bad quality writing in our school books which makes declarative statements..lectures you basically on what the writer thinks or says their chosen authority figure thinks...with no scope of a rational framework to logically work out what your theory is based on and how it is proven. No we are told a story that you can not examine. U have to accept. Then I scoured the Army Library in Shillong for 4 years but came across either equally poor literature or highly unreadable one. Everything starts with assertions that are dissonant to an Indians basic DNA of their sense of their history and yet by a popular circular reference ..any one I questioned... including my teachers...if I asked anyone How it is true..I was told "It is true because it is written". So is anything written true? "well it is written by experts. This one says that one is an expert". So is an expert always stating a truth by virtue of their reputation? And I would face a either people going into glassy stare or tapping my forehead and laughing...arrey yaar itna mat socho. I was so appalled at Indian writing on Indian History I refused to read any further. Firstly if u r writing it in English bad grammar and vocab is inexcusable. And I felt instinctively Westerners telling me about my grandparents is prejudiced by their racist interpretation and I rejected it as a teenager. I hate Max Mueller before I knew why or thought it out to myself. I felt on instinct Max Mueller lies..and a man who can inspire Hitler is anyway not worth knowing. Anyways...today I feel excited that there is an approach in India to our History which approaches the subject from a point of seeking truths and establishing data points before joining them into conclusions. Humans can be forgiven in joining dots incorrectly....but Shameless Indians like Romila Thapar just concocted false dots..not just false associations. And some just carried on wrong analysis because they presumed previous conclusions as facts..and never questioned. I am unable to re find that verse in Rig Veda...I wish I can find it in the (extremely boring) rig Veda, which is so repetitive and lengthy and just a thank you to every element in Nature...because I will get it tattooed on my wrist...but it was a verse where a villager questions the Rishi...and I paraphrase.."Rishi, what you say about the Brahmaan and His Nature sounds so fantastic and I know you must be true, but I cannot see or feel this, so how do I know this is the truth?" And the sage replies..what is my favorite line on Earth..."What I state is absolutely true. But you must Find out if I am lying or not". This is essentially what being a Hindu is. You cannot rest on belief. You must Know on your Own.

Thank you very much for doing this research. I am British/ American but have long detested the misconceptions that abound, in regards to the history of the world, and specifically the AIT. Indian culture is by far the greatest the world has ever seen, and the sooner it's timeless message is accepted by the rest of the world [and the misguided of India], the sooner we will be able to live in a civilized place. One question though, is that according to Srimad Bhagavatam, the advent of Lord Rama was in the Treta yuga which is furher back in antiquity than you suggest?Any ideas about that?

First and foremost we should start calling Ramayana n Mahabharata as our history, and not mythology.
It cannot be called history because it consists of mythical creatures. We can however call it our literature. Very advanced creative complex and elaborate literature for its time. Inspired by events and cultural norms of those times.

I don't see any sense when people are literalist about these things, people don't take the Iliad or Beowulf literally but these are still powerful texts still taught in schools.

Have you heard about Mount Meru and Samudhra Mantham or Churning of the Milky Ocean. There is a big deception within it and it was all about Aryan greed that stole India's wealth. Asuras' and Devas were both migrants to India and they competed for lands especially where the Rivers flowed. It affected the local aboriginals as they even set fire to local settlements. They either escaped or ended up as slaves when the Devas' introduced feudal system and worst of all "Varnashrama Dharma" which ended up as cast system and untouchable into India which was a free county before.
Beautiful Women called Mohinis' were used by the cunning Devas to entice the Asuras and steel from them when they found good wealthy lands especially mines of Gold and gems. The best finds were code named after Cows and white elephants known as the "Iravatham", the rare wealth which the head of the Deva Indra was allocated. The wealthy lands were code named as cows. the third best was "Kamadenu" which went to Sage Vasista. and also another called Suseela. The other wealthy land was called Nandini, it ws again another named after a cow, which was settled by Jamadangi, the father of Parasu-Ram. It became the cause of the troubles between them and the King of Karthiawar whose Kingdom the mine land code named Nandhini was situated and when the King asked them to vacate they rebelled and fought the King whom Parasu-Ram destroyed by terrorist warfare and became known as an Avatars. These were the activities of the Avatars activists and they are still doing it. The best of the lands went to Vishnu, that happened to be Goddess Luxmi, the top of the range wealthy lands and mine so that Vishnu never had to work, he just slept in luxury and called it Vykuntha.
All this is to do with materialism and is hiding behind Avatar activities. They will destroy any one who stand in their way. That was what happened to Asuras' and other Asura Kings who had the best including Ravana. Vaishnavism played them with enticing them with beautiful women. weather it was Sita of Ramayana or Draupathy of Mahabharata.. But the women were not physically involved nor were they kidnapped. It was an espionage tactic. They simply spread such tales around to gain support.
These are the achievements and betrayals of Avatar activity. It still goes on. This Video is part of that conspiracy too. So be ware of what you hear and what you believe. Once when you part with your contributions, you will be forgotten unless you have millions more to lose.. There is lot of lies and betrayals in it. They talk and you are listening to an empty camouflage. Remember Meru was the entire India. They churned it for wealth. That is how he gained Kingdoms not by real war. Ramayanam is composed very much latr for Religious propaganda. It was composed only in 500 BC by Sage Valmiki. He placed himself as a character in place of a Sage. He did not live during that Era. There is solid evidence for that. Bur Rama enthusiast just use his place in the Epic to cheat people.

In 1995 I was posted as a power station engr. in the border desert region of Ramgarh. I had noticed grass lands in our power house colony + outside too & collected sea-shells from the beach like sand.I pointed this out, to the irrigation deptt. there as an indication of an assumed Saraswati river, as mentioned in the epics. Few months later, was delighted to read that the underground river Saraswati had been found thru satellite pictures. Later, thru Radio-isotope tracings , they could trace the route of sweet water, underground river Saraswati. Now, we have Indira canal & the river too. And the sea-shells collected from there shows that the area was once a sea, which had dried up when Ramachandra ji had shot an arrow there. It may be a distorted version of the fact, that after breaking off from, the one landmass Pangea, the Indian seismic plate collided with Eurasian plate, forming Himalayan range & other disturbances.
So year 2020 Lockdown starts in India DD started to broadcast Ramayan and Mahabharata. Curious me started to watch UA-cam videos and i got this video recommended. In school i was completely misguided by my school History Books completing the whole Hinduism chapter(Aryans) in 4 -5 pages . Love your content... also binge watching your videos!

Great work. I think you could also add the dwaraka remains under sea. One remains was dated back to 9500 years , that's is 7500 bc. So it might support your findings further. Ramsethu aka Adams bridge recently appeared in NASA news as man made, which it is. The stones that were laid in top of sand dates back to the years or earlier as mentioned. Well researched and supported with facts. Congratulations.
The one dated back to 9500 bp was based on carbon dating of wood fragment which isn't reliable proof for City's existence. The other artefacts discovered like pottery, metal items are dated to 1500 BCE. Few of the scholars date Mahabharat war at around 1500 BCE and we know that after Krishna died the city was submerged. This looks plausible given the dating of recovered artefacts.
