I think the biggest thing that makes it lean toward rose being pink diamond is that the show creators repeatedly and deliberately avoid showing so much of a smidgen of pink diamond. that seems like a lot of guff to go through to torment the fandom and keep us guessing. pearl is white, that doesnt mean they hide white diamond to make us speculate that pearl could be white diamond. we know she isnt and they show her, but why deliberately hide pink diamond to simply build suspense to keep us guessing?

The reason I so thoroughly enjoy your theory videos is because of the respectful separation of facts and observations, from ideas of your own. It is a pain to click on a theory video and have unsupported conclusions being spat out left and right. As for this video itself, very good timing. Steven Bomb 4 gave us a lot to process and the rose diamond theory was the last thing on my mind. When I first heard of Rose Diamond theory, I liked the idea, but honestly all this new information over time has made me lean more towards the idea of Rose just being a high-up gem, perhaps analogous to Sapphire or something. I like to think her job involved culturing production of new gems or something along those lines, but who knows.
perhaps the pink diamond mural showed her true giant form so Steven did not recognize because he only new her in the smaller human like form she took on since it looks like the diamonds are less human like then most gems
I love watching your theory videos on Steven Universe and my husband I go back and forth about the theory, were are kinda in the middle about the whole thing and we noticed a few things....one thing we did notice is yeah we believe that Rose was a general which we were able to tie back to Jasper saying that she admired her tactics in the first war; but even with that look at the Temple the Gems reside in, it looks like a fusion and we notice a gem on the head as well as the chest and her hair is made up of roses (I dont want to even get into what I think here yet, lol) and why does Rose have a shrine so were a bit stumped there seeing how the only ones who have shrines or temples seems to be the Diamonds. Also, when pearl and Rose shows up to fight in Blue Diamonds court we couldn't help but notice that Pearl has her gem on her head which follows with White Diamond now just follow us here.... Peridot stated before that pearls were pretty much "Made to Order" and we already see that Homeworld pearls reflect their owners. What made pearl rebel? Everyone so far has a color scheme that reflects there gem now except pearl, she wears a little bit of everything? Help us fill in if you can! Keep up the great work btw :-)
I have a theory that Rose was a high ranking quartz gem under pink diamond. In the sky arena, the statues seem to be more the champions of the diamonds', and I have a feeling the statue that is destroyed is of Rose. She may have been created as a Rose Quartz to be a field medic as well as a soldier, which could mean she was given more empathy to suffering in order to help her teammates--but this same empathy is what made her turn against homeworld in order to save the Earth

Okay, I have a new Rose Quartz theory, and it might be more bad ass than her being a diamond. What if she defeated Pink Diamond? What if she shattered Pink Diamond? I mean, yes, the Steven activating the controls is intriguing, but we barely know who can do what with controls. Peridot wasn't too high in the list, but maybe a Pearl or a soldier could have access as well. The size would make sense is Rose is more a soldier than a Diamond that might have had extra abilities involving the plants of the earth or something of that matter. If there were experiments like that it would explain how Lapis is able to use water abilities when she's from a planet that doesn't even rain. Plus if Rose shattered a single Diamond, then there's your reason for war right there. Diamonds would be TERRIFIED of someone with the power to destroy them, and would definitely keep secrets about it to someone like Peridot since who the heck would want lower grade gems to have that sort of power?

There's the idea that the Diamonds are permafusions, like Garnet. Perhaps when 2 Gems with the same stone placement fuze, the stone changes shape? If it does, then what if there were 2 Rose Quartz, and when fuzed their gem changes to a diamond shape? It would allow for her to be just as tall as the other Diamonds, and would explain the difference in Gem Shape. Speculation, yes. But they're setting up something big here.

I remember the day the episode was released that shows that Rose was the pink diamond, before I knew it had been released, I had dreamed on the very day that Rose was the pink diamond, when I went to tell my friend about it he told me said about the episode and that she was really the pink diamond, I was euphoric.
I think that the next step would be to determine where the actual Pink Diamind went or what happened to her. And to do that I think we need to analyze each Diamond's role in their matriarchy. In the Moonbase Murals, each Diamond was depicted doing something, or in a certain pose. That makes me think that they each had a specific purpose or domain that they controlled. And because Honeworld removed the Pink Diamond symbol after the rebellion, they would no longer have control over Pink Diamond's domain or purpose.

perhaps the pink diamond mural showed her true giant form so Steven did not recognize because he only new her in the smaller human like form she took on since it looks like the diamonds are less human like then most gems

I love watching your theory videos on Steven Universe and my husband I go back and forth about the theory, were are kinda in the middle about the whole thing and we noticed a few things....one thing we did notice is yeah we believe that Rose was a general which we were able to tie back to Jasper saying that she admired her tactics in the first war; but even with that look at the Temple the Gems reside in, it looks like a fusion and we notice a gem on the head as well as the chest and her hair is made up of roses (I dont want to even get into what I think here yet, lol) and why does Rose have a shrine so were a bit stumped there seeing how the only ones who have shrines or temples seems to be the Diamonds.
Also, when pearl and Rose shows up to fight in Blue Diamonds court we couldn't help but notice that Pearl has her gem on her head which follows with White Diamond now just follow us here.... Peridot stated before that pearls were pretty much "Made to Order" and we already see that Homeworld pearls reflect their owners. What made pearl rebel? Everyone so far has a color scheme that reflects there gem now except pearl, she wears a little bit of everything? Help us fill in if you can! Keep up the great work btw :-)

I have a theory that Rose was a high ranking quartz gem under pink diamond. In the sky arena, the statues seem to be more the champions of the diamonds', and I have a feeling the statue that is destroyed is of Rose. She may have been created as a Rose Quartz to be a field medic as well as a soldier, which could mean she was given more empathy to suffering in order to help her teammates--but this same empathy is what made her turn against homeworld in order to save the Earth
+Girl Face If that theory turns out to be true and if Rose was made by Pink Diamond, then the latter spectacularly shot the Homeworld Gems in the foot. Then again, that could've been Pink Diamond's plan if it turns out that she wanted to save the Earth.

Okay, I have a new Rose Quartz theory, and it might be more bad ass than her being a diamond. What if she defeated Pink Diamond? What if she shattered Pink Diamond? I mean, yes, the Steven activating the controls is intriguing, but we barely know who can do what with controls. Peridot wasn't too high in the list, but maybe a Pearl or a soldier could have access as well.
The size would make sense is Rose is more a soldier than a Diamond that might have had extra abilities involving the plants of the earth or something of that matter. If there were experiments like that it would explain how Lapis is able to use water abilities when she's from a planet that doesn't even rain. Plus if Rose shattered a single Diamond, then there's your reason for war right there. Diamonds would be TERRIFIED of someone with the power to destroy them, and would definitely keep secrets about it to someone like Peridot since who the heck would want lower grade gems to have that sort of power?

There's the idea that the Diamonds are permafusions, like Garnet.
Perhaps when 2 Gems with the same stone placement fuze, the stone changes shape?
If it does, then what if there were 2 Rose Quartz, and when fuzed their gem changes to a diamond shape? It would allow for her to be just as tall as the other Diamonds, and would explain the difference in Gem Shape.

I like how this theory during the time is 90% right. This all makes sense. He just didn’t know how she was but was super close, that she shapeshifted but it was the gem part like the thumbnail. Also I remember seeing this theory a long time ago, years ago.

I remember the day the episode was released that shows that Rose was the pink diamond, before I knew it had been released, I had dreamed on the very day that Rose was the pink diamond, when I went to tell my friend about it he told me said about the episode and that she was really the pink diamond, I was euphoric.
Okay come on! This is so wrong. What’s next? A vengeful gem created to be pink’s friend comes to seek retribution for being abandoned? Ha, ridiculous
I think that the next step would be to determine where the actual Pink Diamind went or what happened to her. And to do that I think we need to analyze each Diamond's role in their matriarchy. In the Moonbase Murals, each Diamond was depicted doing something, or in a certain pose. That makes me think that they each had a specific purpose or domain that they controlled. And because Honeworld removed the Pink Diamond symbol after the rebellion, they would no longer have control over Pink Diamond's domain or purpose.
what's next, rose sacrifices herself to create steven?
This is the hallmark of a well thought out show, that you could logically deduce a plot twist but yet most being still sidelined by it
with all of the continuity the show has given us i think that anything as big as steven not recognizing his mother on the moon base or how our pearl isn't pink to match rose just makes it seem extremely unlikely that rose is pink diamond
I believe that our pearl is actually white diamonds pearl. Remember her gem placement and how white her skin was in the beginning of the show??? Maybe WD mistreated pearl and Rose showed her kindness
