...WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING
I like old marvel anything after endgame is bad
edit: ok spiderman was cool
Travis, the 3 enemies spawned by the red orb isn't required for S in 6-1, you probably just missed enemies in the segment right before that, because you likely skipped them in order to kill the virtue under an idol and forgot to turn back around.
Brainworm:
6-1's music is the [S] Cascade (somewhat fittingly the end of Act 5 and start of Act 6 in Homestuck...) of Ultrakill
A detail I’d like to point out is that the River Styx in Ultrakill obviously isn’t a river anymore, it’s an entire ocean. There are so many human souls in hell, the River flooded. The Ferryman tried to compensate over time, turning his humble rowed ferry into a cruise ship. Though it’s obvious he’s long given up at this point.
it's just like doug walker's palace fr fr
may also be a more recent development, what with the entireity of humanity being recently murdered by robots and sent down here all at once.
Need the game remind you that hell is full?
also also there were multiple ferrymen and the ferryman we see in game is the last one…
@@karotgamin790 probably because there's no one left to die and become a ferryman lmao
My favorite part of heresy is after Gabriel unrages, you get to see a normal colored stage, so Gabriels rage was the reason the entire layer was completely red
ouh
Okay
How did I never notice this????
i always see Heresy as perpetually red regardless of gabriel's gamer rage or not, since it always feels more fitting that it's red instead of yellow and blue. I think it's just gabriel's presence in the room that makes the place blue and yellow, while the rest of Heresy is still red, since it's still Hell.

Did he… try to chargeback Jakito crashing the game? The balls on this man

Wait oH MY GOD.
I don’t get it
@@saacattaac007 King Crimson is a Stand with the power to erase history. The events still unfold normally, but once the power wears out, the people effected have no idea how they got to that state, I believe.
Kinda similar to the way Sans changes the attack in stage 2.
I love Ultrakill's repeated showcases of the nuances inherent to the circles of Hell to demonstrate just how fucked the system was.
Limbo punished people for just not knowing what they wanted or not wanting to be exceptional. It was essentially the place people were thrown when the people responsible for judgement didn't know what to do with them. V2 is likewise taking this trek through Hell, being a post-wartime machine built up to wartime specifications, presumably because they don't truly know what they want to be either. And V1 might just be the same way.
Lust had an entire renaissance era because people were being sentenced to it just for expressions of their love rather than committing crimes in the name of some false idea of it.
Gluttony is a reflection; a punishment placed upon the man responsible for that renaissance, because his crime was encouraging indulgence in excess. In a similar way, Gabriel fits being here because he has a deep, insatiable hunger that he can't place, but not for anything physical.
Greed punishes those who hoarded wealth, but also those who strove to create legacies for themselves. You find grand monuments scattered around as if they themselves are sinful creations. Sisyphus was a man who had grown tired of being thrown around and forced to suffer because he had done his best. And V2 is fought here because now, they have a PERSONAL stake in fighting V1. They covet the thrill of retribution, of reclaiming the arm that V1 cost them. In a way, Greed has been lumped together with Pride/Vanity.
Wrath, in its current state, isn't even necessarily "anger at other people" anymore. It's "Anger at your lot in life." As in like, how DARE you disagree with what the divine wheel of fate has decided for you? The unique creatures found here aren't products of hatred. They're products of despair, frustration, and in the case of the Idols and the Ferryman, EMPATHY.
Heresy is of course, where those who question the divine's will and practice "false worship" go. And lo and behold, who ends up here but Gabriel, the man stripped of his divine light looking to make amends in the eyes of the Council. But now, Gabriel finally figures out what he REALLY wanted all this time. And while the Council declare it heresy... they are not themselves THE divine. THEY had taken the Lord's teachings in vain in an attempt to fill His role.
I’ve always loved this universe’s idea of a God who is just as flawed as human is, he’s all powerful but he’s also just an egotistical maniac with some unknown goal in humanity.
Once his experiment fails, he gives up and just abandons billions of sentient beings he created instead of doing anything to fix his mistakes. He’s really a total piece of shit!
His character is so artfully relayed to us, not just in the secret level logs but in the themes and lore of the game itself; he is a neglectful being who really just doesn’t care about humanity or even the angels in the slightest. He created humanity to be totally obedient slaves, and the moment they developed free will, his ego took over and he created Hell in a fit of rage. He seems to have immediately regretted it, and then he left like a coward. Such an interesting interpretation of the creator.
@@bumblegoot1139 First sentence is not unlike Gnosticism.
I'll be damned, this interpretation is perfect... I love the unliteral connections which this game's level design put in place, so we get a whole new level of phiosophy talk circle with our over the top bloody fps action.
As I've heard from others, Gluttony doesn't take place inside of King Minos himself, it's just a coincidence it looks like the way it is.
What are the names of the other layers?
I cannot WAIT for act ii’s p-boss. The latest info we have on it so far is at the end of a steam post where hakita says “you thought Minos prime was hard? HA HA HA HA HA HA”
This man scares me.
Anything stronger than a man literally too angry to die is something I don’t want to think about 😅
Considering Act-3 will eventually exist, we can safely assume that what ever waits for us in P-2 won't be the most brutal challenge the game has to offer once it is complete.
Dear god if we get Act-DLC one day.
I had a dream about P-2 where it was basically P-1 but it looked more saturated, the setting looking like 6-1 except in a more greyish and yellow tone, Sisyphus was in a coffin and eventually breaking out, his appearance looking like the insurrectionists but he bag on his head.
Hakita: Minos was mainly a pacifist. You'll see how it feels to fight a prime soul of a man that isn't afraid to hold anything back.
I believe it's Dave Oshry the one who writes the update announcements for New Blood games, but yeah.
Gabriel's betrayal is the greatest, most brutal criticism of the church I've ever experienced. An organisation leveraging its piety to force a way of living onto the unwilling and to conquer in the name of power, straying far from the original intent of its existence. That being said, it doesn't necessarily apply exclusively to the church but could just as easily be applied to any overreaching organisation that's deviated from its purpose in a self-righteous manner - politicians and corrupt charities spring to mind too. In a single cutscene, Gabriel goes from a B tier villain to an S tier character... and I can't believe he's voiced by the same guy who does Columbo impression shitposts on UA-cam.
MACHINE
Just one more thing...
It even has some correlations with the New Testament.
When Jesus started his teachings, people thought the prophet/savior was coming to bring god’s wrath down upon Rome, what Gabriel was trying to do.
When he taught peace instead people were confused and skeptical, Gabriels own doubt.
In the same story it’s not any demonic force that brings him to the cross, but the heads of the very church he is the icon of, the higher echelons of the faith becoming an enemy.
Gabriel is Jesus.
And the same guy who's voicing in a furry porn game.
I wish I could say I was joking.
@@TheOtherLPer203 tbh gianni voicing a furry porno honestly feels like some of the most on-brand shit ever

One cool thing about Dante's Inferno's Wrath Layer: It also has water in it, and within the depths lies the sinners who's sin was wrath, endlessly duking it out in the water. Meaning that the stormy ocean of the Wrath Layer in Ultrakill is probably filled with an ungodly amount of Husks beating the shit out of eachother underneath an ocean of corpses.
sadly that's not 100% the case, as whatever fighting that might have existed at some point is no more, as the billions of husks that filled the river styx into an ocean have given up on life, drowning endlessly or being amalgamated into the leviathan
(sourced from leviathan entry and ferryman diary)
@@ElHuevoRancheroWasTaken so they used to fight, now they just give up or merge into the leviathan
@@ElHuevoRancheroWasTaken it's still a hilarious visual, millions of strays, filth, and other husks just kicking the shit out of eachother in the water. it's too funny to not think about
@@aekiyria_ I will agree with that 100%
that’s badass man
41:42 The enemies spawned by this orb are actually not required for the p-rank. You probably missed some of the enemies that spawn on the platform by the virtue. They don't spawn unless you stand on it.
In terms of the story, I like to think of it almost like a second person story, since narratively, I believe Gabriel is the main character, not V1. Even though V1 is the playable character, in terms of the story I think he acts more like a plot device for Gabriel than anything else
V1 and the machines are ironically a force of nature style antagonist. There isn't really a character to reason with or debate philosophy against. V1 is simply the most dangerous machine of them all, the one who takes action and antagonizes Gabriel to change his view and grow as a character.
To put it simply, i see Ultrakill as a disaster movie like Armageddon or Godzilla. Classic Godzilla is not about a giant lizard who breathes atomic flames, it's about the people who try to survive their city being destroyed and the character growth that results from it.
In the same way, V1 is an existential threat to life because of it's hunger for blood. Gabriel cares about the husks and souls damned in Hell, this is clear in his monologue from 6-2 where he laments the loss of the upper layers as well as how he treated the Ferrymen. After being defeated by the threat to all existence he is shunned by the council and sent to right his "wrong". After being defeated again he comes to the conclusion that the council is a bunch of hacks and that their dogma no longer matters in the face of certain destruction. So he removes the dogma and gears up for his final stand against V1 to possibly protect any living beings left, with the understanding that he will either die by losing the Father's light or at the hands of V1.
Yeah Gabe is a super cool protagonist and I can't wait to see how Ultrakill ends.
Hakita outright stated that Gabriel is the protagonist, I believe.
That…is an interesting way to put it. And after seeing more of the dialogue, it makes sense.
I always thought so, Gabriel got way more character development V1, I always thought V1 as a catalyst to tell the story of Gabriel. Specially after act 2, it made me more clear that Gabriel is the protagonist
This is an interesting way of getting around the fundamental obstacle of trying to tell a story while still allowing the player to do wacky stuff.
If the player is not the protagonist, the story told for the actual protagonist will remain serious.
damn. gotta respect the grind. trav released the last part literally yesterday and could have spaced it out if he wanted but instead just went "screw it" and finished it up so now he has posted 3 videos in November. mad respect
he probs had them both ready to push out it for the week. better for the algorithm
gabriel is the nicest angel, which is kinda like being to tallest dwarf but there is room for improvement.
A way I've personally put that transition into 6-1 proper, is that you've been carving your way through hell up to that point. But all of those previous layers? They were just appetizers. This is *Hell.*
And it is fucking glorious.
Yeah, it's like going to a large metropolis, on your way there, you're going to find a ton of outskirts towns and perimeter cities before hitting the metropolis proper. After all, this is a dimension that houses the entirety of Humanity's sinful souls, every bad man and woman that ever existed. The lower down you go, the more serious Hell gets. Makes sense the previous layers were just weak baby stuff compared to what you'd find as you got halfway through Hell itself.
6-1 was so good that I wanted an 6-2 before gabriel
You are entering the Hell city of Dis, it consists of the lower 4 circles of hell. It would make sense that the aesthetic would be different since it’s a gated and walled section of hell, sort of
in the Ferryman page o of the Ultrakill wiki, on trivia, it says that it's rumored that his weapon is a comically large spoon, and also that he rolls a lot during his fight because he is an expert dark souls player
Holy shit it really does:
• It has been rumored that the boat oar that the Ferryman carries is actually a rather old, comically large spoon. Hakita could not be reached for comment on this. Only a spoonful!
• Another rumor is that the reason the Ferryman combat rolls around the arena is because he is an expert at the Dark Souls games.
Hakita could also not be reached for comment on this.
• The Ferryman's Oar was shown in the 2021 Development Recap as V1's spoon only further contributing to the comically large spoon theory.

Comment is pointing out video's right on time as it was posted a couple hours before the 1st of december.
Another way the devs use the gameplay to enhance the Gabriel rematch is that the texture for Gabe's lit-up wings in phase 2 is named something about ecstasy if I'm not mistaken- which I think is really cool
and the colors of the wings are designed to parallel V1's, fun fact.
Gabriel's Enraged design was going to be his default colors, but they were changed to not be so similar to V2
It's ironic that Gabe and V2 end up playing the same role
It is also worth it to say that Gabriel was sympathetic to the hells in their entirety. If he was not blinded by his own light, he wouldn't have struck down Minos. Everything he did was, in his own mind, the right thing to do. Only after being defeated did he realize his error and he returned to Heaven to unmake his mistake.
I can't believe my chemical reaction video comes with an Ultrakill segment.
Your videos are a good cooldown after watching Max0rs psychedelic hellscape of a video on ultrakill. Genuinely great work tho man, I can't wait to see your Act 3 video

When I played Act II for the first time, I was so high on the adrenaline from the previous mission before Gabriel's second fight that after hearing his speech of hatred, I manifested all my passion for the game and BEAT HIM ON THE FIRST TRY WITHOUT DYING, and I don't think I could pay homage in any other way than that for this game. Buy Ultrakill.
I died 89 times on his second boss fight and it took me an hour straight!
The amount of neuron activation in this video fried my brain. Well done.
Someone’s probably already pointed this out, but I absolutely love that there’s not just one, but TWO Agni & Rudra boss fight references in ultrakill. Since they were my fave boss in dmc3 (next to. Well. The obvious one) I like seeing them repped in this game a ton🔥 in general, all the various dmc references in the game like Gabriel using spiral swords and quoting Credo, and Swordsmachine using the Red Queen’s exceed function make me go crazy. Not to mention all the other references I either didn’t catch, or are for other games. Ultrakill is filled with so much love for the whole media of video games, that it makes me want to comb the entire game for every possible little cameo or reference I can find. Hakita is truly commendable :)
Just wanted to say that there isn’t just one ferryman at a time but only one ferryman per Ferry. We only fight one of them, it never says it’s the last one and even it’s terminal entry talks about the Ferrymen and their transport as a plural which lines up with the Ferryman being in the sword machine class of enemies. (Which probably means more will pop up in act 3).
The red orb enemies in 6-1 aren't required for p-rank fyi.
I thought they were for a while until i learned that I was just completely running past the two husks that appear in the dark hallway.
Gabriel’s growth in just 2 acts is really interesting.
He was dooming and tormenting people just because “Heaven and will of god” command.
And then he was forced fed Ton of Humble Pies by V1 in (Ironically) Gluttony.
And then anger from the ruination of Status quo by Machines.
Only to gain introspective and insight of reality of situation after getting Force Feeding Humble Pies Sessions by V1 Round 2, and said insight is something that can be seen as Heresy... gained while in Heresy Layer.
Tbh, I hope Gabriel spend his last few time he got left done something really big.

I kinda suck at them, so I don't think I've ever seen a core nuke done in that room until now; you've given me a newfound appreciation for how massive that explosion really is.
I know it's most likely that P-2 is Sisyphus Prime, but I think it would be interesting if they went with a colossal boss like the Corpse or Leviathan but made it challenging enough to be considered Prime. Would be a fun way to mimic the layer patter with a small extremely mobile boss, a colossal boss, and a flying boss. Possibly even Gabriel's Prime soul considering that he freed the angels from the Council.
how would that work though, killing the Flesh Panopticon or whatever it'll be, and a colossal boss larger than the prison itself comes out? P Bosses are supposed to be Prime souls, and if a Prime soul was the same size as King Minos' Corpse it'd be really weird to design or hard to balance, since if you could parry the punches or whatever it'd be too easy, whereas if you add Minos Prime's type of attacks it'd be comical to watch and unbelievably hard to balance
My insane prediction: beating the final act with unlock a gamemode that involves playing as Gabriel.
His playstyle would most likely be melee centric, the Zero to V1's X, so to speak.
@@virgilepiaux150 Sounds perfect. If anything it could be effectively an inversion of V1 using those arms as effectively subweapons, where you'd instead favor variations on angelic melee weapons/techniques with a few niche ranged equipment as subweapons, perhaps.
This just leaves the real question of whether Gabriel mode should also feature Gianni doing some intermittent Duke Nukem-esque one-liners during gameplay...
@@chaosvolt I think one-liners should be said whenever you hit Superme style or higher, and depend on the latest style bonus
That begs the question: should it be before he slaughters the council where he's Heaven's enforcer, crushing all who oppose the will of God, *OR* would it be set afterwards, as he makes his final dive into Hell to face V1, cutting through everything in his way in a mad dash to beat his approaching demise?
@@theguylivinginyourwalls Being a prequel would make it easiest to reuse existing levels and assets without having to change too much, as that'd allow using most of the same enemies aside from robots and angels.
Other approaches could be to focus him turning against the council (though that'd require coding in more angelic enemies, bosses, etc), have the ending written in a way that would allow Gabriel to survive to be playable and thus being selectable in a Second Quest sort of gamemode set after whatever the end entails, or being strictly a noncanon bonus mode were one to handwave things entirely.
Though that last method would get...interesting if you were to fight Gabriel as Gabriel in that case, I assume Gianni would have be given some interesting lines to poke fun at that.
I had shivers at the end of the Act II ending

because the exit of that level is the entrance. it's tipped upside down. the level is flipped. we go out the same way we came in. because. the entrance. was turned INTO an exit, simply by flipping it upside down. it's so simple yet it blew my mind
With that last dialogue from Gabriel, I'm almost certain that the next we all see of him will be as an fallen angel
Money on it being Lucifer and Gabriel
I personally enjoy the interpretation that the blood mechanics only work the way they do in gameplay and lore because its a combination of science and ritualistic sacrifice. It makes a lot more sense for blood to trigger an explosive if you're playing with concepts like souls, hell energy, and holy light
I learned that you could slide on the water in 5-2 by reading a daily tip that said "You skip across water by sliding onto it." and my brain went "Wait, does this count as water?" and sure enough, it did.
Alright, Divine Comedy lore time:
1) If the river Acheron were to appear in Ultrakill it would have been in the Prelude, as it's the river that goes from the land of the living into hell. 4 of the 5 rivers of the underworld in Greek mythology are in hell in the Divine Comedy, the Acheron, the Styx, the Phlegethon (which is a river of boiling blood that goes through the Violence layer) and the Cocytus (which is a frozen lake at the very bottom of the final layer, Treachery). The fifth river, Lethe, is at the top of Purgatory in Dante's poem.
2) In the Divine Comedy, Charon is the ferryman at the river Acheron, in Styx, Dante and Virgil are ferried by a Greek king by the name of Phlegyas, who burned down Apollo's temple in a fit of rage after said god did funny stuff with his daughter, hence Dante put him in Anger/Wrath. Because symbolism, y'know.
Not to mention that something that seems to have been lost over iterations of telling the original Greek myths is that Styx is in fact NOT the river that Charon ferries souls across, the actual ferried river being the Acheron.
To be fair, we DO see a burning river right before the Cerberus fight, and we know the Prelude takes place on Earth. And in every layer except Greed there is at least one flowing body of something resembling liquid.
We also know that in Ultrakill, this is all in the far future, and time passes in Hell as well as on Earth and is affected by the events of Earth. The river flooded and became a vast ocean with the influx of humanity. On that note, the reason we see the tortured reincarnated bodies of the Damned on Earth is because, quite literally, Hell is full.
Charon was probably long, long, long replaced by this point since the last Ferryman had a future-tech rocket launcher for an arm.
Calling it now that Gabriel will die in Act 3 not as the final boss, but he'll be remembered by all of Heaven, turning him into a prime soul and thus P-3.
The most interesting thing about ultrakill for me is the rings Gabriel appears in. He first appears in gluttony, which is housed in the corpse of a being he is punishing. He later appears in heresy when he starts to question god and the council, and he will most likely appear in treachery in act III, after he has betrayed the council.
Deep Blue is the best theme in the OST, shame we hear it muffled a lot. Also, the saxophone is the best instrument
Also, perfect Jerma reference
It's calming when muffled tho
"When I read slingshot, my brain thought of the astrological one."

You know the fact that you don’t get hard damage underwater when using the whiplash is both a lore accurate explanation for a game mechanics! Think about it. Since blood is fuel, the whip should use any sort of lubricant, which would probably be blood. Blood is a fluid, obviously so it would be a lubricant as well. So both the whiplash system and V1’s standard systems are (mostly) separate for the fact of whiplash not setting hard damage if you’re under water. It’s so hard to put this idea into words but I hope you understand
I will accept this as canon
Welp, there goes my plans to sleep.
Trans girl here, I had to pause the video for a few seconds when you said "Gabriel's egg was beginning to crack".
I see that charity campaign, that wording can't be a coincidence lmao
I would like to say that you don’t need the blood orb in 6-1 to get the kill count to S for a p-rank. I used to think that but if I know what enemies you were missing, during the platform sections where the virtue tries to snipe you, you need to land on the platforms to actually make the enemy spawn, it’s weird. This video was amazing though
could also be that the husks somehow survived his kmuckleblaster shot, I use coins in that hallway
That “direct hit soldier” call out was great
I'm surprised you didn't make this connection (it kinda came to me while watching) but Gabriel is literally having a sort of "Starscream" arc of sorts. Literally doing the bidding of those he "believes" in, but gets his ass wooped and finally goes "waitaminute . . . these guys were LYING to me!!"

I like to think the text "A R M B O Y ! ! !" is actually V1 just super duper happy to see his homie
I love how after the ship flips the terminal says "Tip of the day: ow" lmao
The leviathan is my favorite boss because you can spend pretty much the entire fight just on top of it ridding it and it’s so much fun
I hope the act 3 giant boss combines the best parts of the Corpse and Leviathan. The build up that the Corpse has over the course of the Lust layer, and the open ended whiplash riding gameplay of Leviathan. Man that would be super cool
"Gabriel's egg was beginning to crack"
TRANS GABRIEL LET'S GOOOOOOO
Tho everyone in Uktrakill is canonically nb anyways, idk how it's gonna work out
Over analysis of the Gabe 2 Boss:
1: He mentions that Limbo and Lust are “all gone” and says that Gluttony is “soon to follow.” This means that something is probably following V1, destroying what little is left as it decsends. (Maybe some kind of V3? Just my guess.) He says that “your kind” know nothing but hunger, not “you” know nothing but hunger, which means that other machines (or just one machine) are destroying the creatures in hell.
2: Gabriel’s insults where he stops to scream at you are much more personal. In the first fight, most of them followed the lines of “I’m better than you.” In the second fight, they go more towards the lines of “You suck!” Examples: “IS THIS WHAT I LOST TO?”
“YOUR GETTING RUSTY, MACHINE!”
Also, he says “You make even the devil cry!” as one of his insults in both fights. Just a fun fact.
3: In the second phase, I believe that Gabriel isn’t just calming down, he’s starting to enjoy the fight. This might be why he laughs upon entering stage two. This is also supported by his voice lines, such as “What is the feeling?” or “I’ve never had a fight like this before!”
4: When he says “May your woes be many… and your days few,” he says it with comparatively less emotion than the first fight, probably because he himself is doubting if he truly wants what he is saying. I have a funny feeling that the last lines he’s going to say is going to be something along the lines of “May your days be many, and your woes few.” This is just a guess of mine, but it would be a neat callback to the previous fights.
All of this is just my own interpretation of events, so there is a high chance I got at least one thing wrong here.
Wow, your still reading this? Surprising.
As a gabriel fan, this text makes me happy, tho, the "you make even the devil cry" line only appears on the first fight, in the second one, he stops making mentions about the devil
Sorry. My bad.
The enemies for the 4th secret in 6-1 are not required, it just helps if you miss a few, it's the same for the 5th secret in 0-1.
"Maybe fraud that's where god must be hiding after all" this man is one of my people
You're not alone in the slingshot thing. The moment you said "slingshot", my brain went to "GRAVITY ASSIST MANEUVER??!".
As soon as you started mentioning music I looked up the ost and started listening to it stuffs fire
In my school vr game Gabriel the apostate of hate is a ally in the game campaign as Ryuko maktoi in the game during the boss fight against the Ariel and barbatos lupas rex 2 super elite ace class bosses so to rescue the downed and chained up demon goalius and there's a cutseen where Gabriel the apostate of hate sacrificed himself to destroy the gundam flaurios and free goalius
man i started cry laughing at 46:18
15:57 this was my exact reaction when I accidentally did a slam storage for the first time
Okay cool ultra kill dlc idea you play as v2 leading up to the events of his death I think that would be cool.
have to wonder if there would be changes to how health works
like taking way less damage but only being able to heal with checkpoints
plus maybe weapons could work in slightly different ways (like having to charge the green nailgun) or there could be fights against v1 but eh
42:09 I yelled “WAIT WHAT” out loud when I saw that there is weapon skins I actually had no idea lol
I know I probably should've put this on the first part, given you mentioned being not big enough to get certain influencers to do a cameo, but I honestly think you are one of, if not, the best reviewers on the platform man! I've wanted to do my own review of games and stuff for the last three months but I honestly have no idea how you do it. How'd you learn? Just over time? Or what? Again, your awesome! Love the work, keep it up!
Junewars
we have all been a victim to not knowing you can slide on water
The more that you explained the mechanics of the sentry, the more it felt like Guardians from Breath of the wild
**rapid piano**
22:15 I'm ABSOLUTELY agree with you it just, daaamn, that song gives me a lot of pirate vibes, like you are literally in a ship lmao
35:27
>would like to see this trick used more in the future
>New update where this trick is used . except this time with extra pain.
Man I can not wait for layers 7-9 and p-2 and p-3. I haven't been this hyped since godzilla vs kong
7-9? violence only has 3 subcircles inside of it, Fraud is the one with 10 subcircles
I'm glad someone else appreciates Death Odyssey as much as I do, it gives me chills every time, sadly seems under played according to view counts on tracks etc
I’m loving how much Trav content we’re getting in the past two months. You’re doing some fantastic work Trav and I can’t wait for all the new videos you have in store for us
I'm having a great time binging your vids at the moment! Keep up the great work, but I also hope you're taking care of yourself while making such long form content as well.
43:50
me talking to the router when the internet cuts out and a rage room is too expensive
I'm so excited for how the story continues! Can't wait till act lll
27:35 yeah I feel you I was a combo pyro mainly used reserve shooter or detonator
4:00 Honestly same, when people ask me why i tought of some over-complicated, totally unnecesary solution to something i struggle to give them an answer because not even i know
I remember my favorite arena was one in 5-3 with the dual wield where I managed to not only beat it the first try but also the fact that mostly everyone on the steam forums seemed to hate that one specifically
It was a wonderful reveling experience
Oh wow I just finished the first part and was wondering when this would drop. Thanks trav guy
4:04 "i wish i could explain why my brain works like that" bro thats called ADHD
River Acheron would be during the prelude if anywhere. So...maybe all the flowing blood and lava in various tubes and canals?
Also, that's anti-materiel (as in, designed to kill equipment, not people), not antimatter (as in E=mc^2 makes containment failures scary).
little correction about the ferrymen. there is mutiple ferrymen at once, but there can only be a specfic amout at any given time. so the one we fight as a boss is one of many (or few?)
yeah that second gabriel fight, albeit short. is possibly the best bossfight i’ve ever fought.
it felt like it was what the original v2 fight seems like it was supposed to be. a fight of equal power. the clash of two giants.
its so much fucking fun
16:35 in that little shack, you can grab the skull using the whiplash without spawning anything.
22:17
he thought the thunder strike outside was the slab cracking the window, so he had to check
Okay I know it’s extremely unlikely, but I’m hoping V1 prove themself to be a hero at the end or whatever.
But whether or not it that happens, the question remains: what is V1’s goal? I mean it’s obviously to get more blood, but it must realize that when it reaches the bottom there is none left and it’s utterly boned. Another purpose perhaps?
and aint that a metaphor for humanity and human life…
there's probably a big blood pool in the depths of heck or something
or just some stinkyhead coincidentally voiced by gianni who bleeds a lot
P2 and 2 new weapon variants have been added as well as some quality of life improvements for the cyber grind
Pretty sure the Sentries have an Anti-Materiel rifle. Materiel is the technical term for 'stuff' like vehicles and radio equipment. It is the antonym of Personnel in a military context.
