Can we just accept and appreciate these 2 for the fact that they single handedly uplifted dpreview reviews to the next level. I still miss those old dpreview field reviews with pro photographers and those trips dpreview used to do. But these "OG camerastoretv guys" really uplifted the channel.
Definitely. I followed them from The Camera Store. If they go independent I'll still follow them. THEY are the ones that are not only fun to watch but I really look to for a one-day decision. ONE day I may just decide.....
You prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
Great video guys! No other channel can combine rigorous photographic knowledge with humor in such an elegant effective way while keeping the content relevant and entertaining. Amazing work! Stay safe!
mostly, im not even interested in the contect of these videos itself, but i still find myself sticking to it because im having fun watching you two having fun :)
What I really want to know, is what will be in your camera bag after July. A lot of new kit is coming out. Will you guys stick it out with the GH5? Will we know about a GH6 by the end of summer. Will Sony and Canon deliver something to move you off the GH5? I really want to know about future Chris's camera bag. Looks like your are still stuck in early spring. In Ontario, this is our first day at 68 degrees and sunny. Leaves still not out, but the buds are ready to pop. Stay warm guys.
As a DSLR user I always have my Hoodman Loupe. Also for close up photography a pair of scissors for trimming little branches. And lots and lots of candy 🍬
Favorite camera? A GH5!!!!!! and this shot with an S1H. okay boys...I read rumors of a gh6, soon, supposedly 41 mp 4/3 sensor? How 'bout looking into this?
The two different items I carry are insect repellent wipes and packages of hand warmers. I also found hockey tape works as well as gaffers tape but is much cheaper
For my long term travels of many countries and many years I had a little plastic raincoat for my camera bag and for the camera. Plus I usually travelled (backpacker style) with the camera bag inside a regular daypack but also inside a waterproof liner of a roll down drybag. kept it hidden and harder to get to for any potential theives but not hard for me to reach inside the daypack, lift the camera bag top and grab my camera. Bit annoying but worth the long term safety on the road where I was on chicken buses and the like, on boats, in torrential rain or dust storms.
Kind of surprised. More video gear there than I would have thought, and only the lens attached to the camera. BTW, you mentioned the camera, but not the lens attached to it.
Chris & Jordan - thank you for an entertaining (sometimes very funny), ALWAYS informative & practical insight into cameras, camera gear & video/video production. Its helped me to transition from a Pentax ME Super & various cheap digital cameras over the years to now owning 3 mirrorless camera systems = Sony e Mount; Fujifilm X Mount; Panasonic/Olympus MFT. You guys have helped me in those decisions of "What gear for what I am trying to shoot?" [PS loved the past jokes/observations about weird Pentax users comments ... lol] I have 5 adult children for whom I have recently bought cameras (& camera lens - quality 'primes') to help them to move away from relying solely on smart phones for their precious memories (family, children, travel, weddings, special events, art, performing music etc). The buying decisions & options I gave my children were helped by your excellent UA-cam channel. Q. What price can you put on those photos & video of "precious memories"? THANKS A MILLION :)
What I don't carry is just as important as what I do - I don't carry water in the same bag, and never carry it above the camera/lenses. Learned that one the hard way!
would really like to see a video with different camera bags yes I know it's probably a whole bunch out there but still its more fun to see you guys do it 😁 I mean is there any bags you can carry on his so you don't have to carry on shoulders
I always have a Swiss Army Knife or some sort of mult-itool with me for those times when "That will never happen to me" happens to me. And a litre of water, but I'm usually out in the wilds when I'm shooting, so...
what about what’s in your personal camera bag when you’re shooting for fun or personal? long time fan Chris but i think more people would be interested in personal vs your job stuff. otherwise it seems like a commercial for 200 products
If you wear a Kodak Attaccapanni Photography Safari Jacket with about 18 pockets you don't need a camera bag. Add a fishing vest underneath for another 7 pockets.
What Chris has in his camera bag: See video above. What I have in my camera bag: Camera. Lens. Maybe another lens. Sheesh, no wonder his channel has 243 times as many subscribers as my channel...

Chris and Jordan saved DP review

@Darian Genesis Instablaster :)
"The AK-47 of hybrids" - Most perfect description of the GH5 (and could probably include the G9)
@Ziggi Mon yeah, its a good point and shoot
@@duanehundley lol!
not bad but the fujifilm xt3 is still better
Jordan's desperate voice at 3:19 looking for Chris made me laugh hard. Watched it lots of times :D
these little things make the videos!
@@insertyouryoutubehandlehere hehe yeah i love them :D
Chris is the Ryan Reynolds of camera reviewer
he's such a hot dad omg uwu
Congratulations! You just won the internet today with this comment! You're dead on. I want to see Chris wear a Deadpool costume in an upcoming video.
this asian chris really called himself caucasian. he really wants to be white
Accurate ... "I like the camo interior of the bag, because it matches my sheets" said with straight face lol
I always throw in a few silica, desiccant, gel bags into my camera bag(s) to soak up the moisture and prevent fungal growth on my lenses and camera.
Good snack when I’ve been backpacking with my camera gear
i do that too.
@@gtaliano 🤜💥🤛
sometimes moisture can be good though
@@fanjapanischermusik I don't want any moisture near my camera or lenses
Schmetterling. 😁🤩🧚♀️
Genau.
This is such a gem of a video.
Is it ok that I’m a little sad the GM5 is no longer there?
Great video guys! No other channel can combine rigorous photographic knowledge with humor in such an elegant effective way while keeping the content relevant and entertaining. Amazing work! Stay safe!
It's not the channel its Chris & Jordan. When they were working for the camerastore tv it was the same humor.
mostly, im not even interested in the contect of these videos itself, but i still find myself sticking to it because im having fun watching you two having fun :)
Some of your best ever lines in this video; LOVE it
YES! GH5 ... is in the bag :) Looking forward to Jordan's bag and the BACKPACK reviews!
I don't know why I'm so excited to see you talk about travel backpacks, but I am!
What I really want to know, is what will be in your camera bag after July. A lot of new kit is coming out. Will you guys stick it out with the GH5? Will we know about a GH6 by the end of summer. Thanks for the information Chris. I'll watch this again to write down some of the accesories you keep in your small camera bag.
Schmetterling! I love you Chris!
As a DSLR user I always have my Hoodman Loupe. Also for close up photography a pair of scissors for trimming little branches. And lots and lots of candy 🍬
Very good pronunciation of Schmetterlingtasche.
Great idea with the (camera) bag videos. Looking forward to these.
0:20 How the hell does he say that so fast?!! Try to say "Welcome back DPReviewTV viewers" 3 times fast.
Lots of prblghatice. :)
A man who sleeps under cognac leather bed sheets is no mere mortal!
I always have a small rocket blower in my bag. Always blow before you wipe! Also handy if there's some dust on my sensor.
Good blower is probably the most best tool for cleaning in general. So handy, all the time.
I couldn’t wait to click and watch!! I love what’s in my camera bag videos!
Loved everything about this.
What brand of Schmetterlinge do you recommend? ;)
I also have a few macro rings and a card reader in my camera bag.
Ah yes, the Panasonic GH5, the AK-47 of cameras, I’ve often heard it called that.
Killer shades Chris
Thumbs up for that Maven 10 - stop ND filter with ZERO color shift!
Nice video. I always wondered what you guys carry. I like how compact all your stuff is.
I'd like to have a link to equipemnt mentioned in the video
An Allen Wrench, doubly important if you use 3Legged Thing tripods.
Please do this as a regular series when things change up
So nice you use the gh5. Its my favorite too

Love the Schmetterling! ;)
Great video as always !
Please link here the Nikon sensor cleaning kit you use...
Nice Schmetterling
Pentax, Panasonic, Nikon, Canon, Sony. Well done, money should flow.
3:55 He really caught me off guard there. What the hell xD
Thanks Chris.
I shoot micro four thirds as well
Sehr gute Aussprache von Schmetterlingtasche :)
Looking forward to the next one - there can never be enough bags :)
Kind of surprised. More video gear there than I would have thought, and only the lens attached to the camera. BTW, you mentioned the camera, but not the lens attached to it.

I read the thumbnail and title and interpreted it as "the gear that never makes it out of his bag on a shoot"
Hey Chris have you tried the Spiderpro V2 handstrap?
What I don't carry is just as important as what I do - I don't carry water in the same bag, and never carry it above the camera/lenses. Learned that one the hard way!
Schmetterling - still the coolest german word in my book. It sounds terrifying but it’s a butterfly 😂
Love the Schmetterlingtasche
ist he MC30 durable for Mirrorless cameras?
would really like to see a video with different camera bags yes I know it's probably a whole bunch out there but still its more fun to see you guys do it 😁 I mean is there any bags you can carry on his so you don't have to carry on shoulders
Awesome video! Only thing I would add is a white balance card 👍
Wir wollen mehr Schmetterlinge :D. Keep on going, love these jokes in between ;).
Question is what 'Tony' is Chris on at this bench shoot?
*Toneh 😂
LANYARD GALORE!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I always have a Swiss Army Knife or some sort of mult-itool with me for those times when "That will never happen to me" happens to me. And a litre of water, but I'm usually out in the wilds when I'm shooting, so...
Wasnt the camo to match your undies? I do love you are sticking to the Pentax gear. Respect, Camo or not.
butterfly bag
How about your personal setup for a day out, or vacation where you want to take photos but it isn't your only or even main purpose.
what I want to know is what cameras these videos are filmed on
We always have a title card at the top of the episode. This one was shot on the Panasonic S1H.
I love you guys! 😅
Can you all do a video on astro Photography? Milky way and the moon would be great. I just can't get it quite right.
That was beautiful.
Yaaaaaaay Schmetterling! ❤️🦋❤️
Often I've thought that I need to carry a syringe and needle in my bag, you know just in case water droplets etc.
Nice shout-out to Michael the Maven!
Don't you guys have any new camera or lens to review?
what about what’s in your personal camera bag when you’re shooting for fun or personal? long time fan Chris but i think more people would be interested in personal vs your job stuff. otherwise it seems like a commercial for 200 products
First!.......150 atleast 😅 always excited for a new video
Cool
I’ve watched other videos that reviewers really like the GH5.
I keep, you keep, he (Chris) keeps... - you're welcome!!
Should've went with the Star shaped sun glasses. Put your hand out and say "talk to the hand".
The only thing I have in common in my bag is the Gordy strap.
Love it 😍
Very cool very cool
I thought your sheets had dinosaurs...
Aww... the GM5 got cut?
Loved the bits about calling Jordan😂 hope you include some sandwiches in that bag of yours too Chris another entertaining vid guys. 👍😉
It would have been more exciting if you had tossed the GH5 off to the side like you did the other things.
The bedsheets 💀
Damn my camera bag doesn't match my bed sheets, no wonder my photos suck! 🤣
"Heart? Brain!"
I would actually like to see the lenses.. :D
Awww, didn't mention his daily lenses, just b-roll of the 8-18 and 30 macro.. . How is that 30 macro out of curiosity?
If you wear a Kodak Attaccapanni Photography Safari Jacket with about 18 pockets you don't need a camera bag. Add a fishing vest underneath for another 7 pockets.
Come on Chris, we know there is a tube of mega-hold hair product in the bag somewhere.
'Which matches my bed sheets' lolllll
Wow... Nikon made KeyMission sunglasses.
I hope you’re actually joking when you talked about how filthy the sensor was from manufacturers 😨😨
What Chris has in his camera bag: See video above. What I have in my camera bag: Camera. Lens. Maybe another lens. Sheesh, no wonder his channel has 243 times as many subscribers as my channel...
Come on, the Schmetterlingbag is so much nicer.
thumbs up
I expected to see cameras and lenses in the camera bag.
a little chris
ah fella's......my inquiry about the gh6? what choo hear??? Marty Sender You Tube
