This is the very best video for making Waldorf dolls. There are so many out there, but none compare to your kind and completely through in creating these dolls. I will start my doll with much more confidence! I thank you!!!!
I started this hobby quite recently and spent a lot of time, and wasted a lot of money on patterns that were basic in the extreme or just didn't enable you to make a doll anything like the picture they advertised. And then I found this. The detail in the pattern is lovely yet simple, and combined with these delightful and informative videos, I have been able to make dolls that I am thrilled with. Thank you so much Little Doll House!!
What a great compliment. That was exactly what i had in mind. make dollmaking easy so everybody can make them for their children or grandchildren. thank you so much
Es un excelente video no avía encontrado algo así ahora puedo estar confiada que me saldrá una linda muñeca aunque no sea el mismo idioma pero lo entendí muy bien. Gracias Dios bendiga tus manos.
I love the "Why make it easy, if you can make it difficult". My dad would ask me that, in a very Sarcastic way. I would always answer, "Because it's more fun and adventurous" .. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
OMG OMG it's the first time I see such a detailed video on making Waldorf Doll. Beautiful I am speechless . You reveled so many "secrets" of making them and I am so thankful. And you really made it easy for me, that all I want is to make them to my grandchild. You are a real Master. Thank you thank you. I hope I can find in your Etsy shop a pattern for the body . Love you
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I am a virgin doll maker and feel really confident ti go ahead and make two versions for my young grandchildren for Christmas this year.

I love your tutorials and you humor! My daughter and I have been watching and rewatching and making a baby along with. You are Beautiful darling! , thank you so much for sharing your doll making knowledge
Once again, many thanks for your generous sharing of your time and expertise! Your instructions are clear and concise, and if we have questions we can turn to your earlier videos for more explanation.
Your attention to detail and astounding talent is so mesmerizing to watch. This is why Waldorf dolls are so expensive-and they’re worth every penny. Well done!

I want to thank you for your work in teaching us how to make dolls. I had already, made two before finding you and wasn’t satisfied with them so I plan to do them over. But your neck technique is just superb! I intend to purchase your patterns.
Thank you so much for this. I have a couple of granddaughters who would like this, and I see a glow worm there for my grandson. Can I help explain dividing the head? First, divide the head in half, then divide the bottom half in half again between the eyeline and chin; in the middle, place the nose. As a native English speaker, listening to you speak is an honour, because you have taken the time to speak in my language so I can make this (not just me I know) again Thank You😄
You have such a unique and creative style of making dolls . They are so beautiful and charming, I can’t take my eyes off them. You are an inspiration to many artists!
Just wanted to say Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge teaching us how to make these dolls. You are the perfect teacher! Can’t wait for my supplies to arrive so I can start making my first doll.

Loving all your video tutorials!! I am so encouraged and have ordered all the supplies. Gonna make a doll for my daughter for Christmas. I’ve never made one before but I’m crafty and have a good eye. Just wanted to let you know that I love your videos and thanks you for being so clear! Xx love from Scotland 🏴
Hi julie I also am interested in making this doll I also am from scotland but I always knew name walford but didnt know expense and the detail involved now I do I'm determined to try
I just loved the way you explain in detail how to make this beautiful doll. Bought the pattern and am looking forward to making my dolls for my grandchildren. Thank you.
This is my first time watching a video such as this. I wish my mom had taught me how to use a sewing machine as a young girl and how to sew...im almost 50 years young and have never touched a needle and thread believe it or not. I was mesmerized by your video and watched you bring this little girl to life! So enjoyable! I will never attempt this but may look into buying one of these cuties down the road!
Absolute pleasure to watch your tutorial, thank you for making it! I feel more reassured now to attempt to create a doll as this has shown me how to. Love your doll, she's so cute! ❤️
Thank you so very much for your very detailed video tutorial. I have 2 Waldorfs I purchased a few years ago, but I have longed to make some myself. I have made many different types of dolls (porcelain from greenware and antique China shoulder heads into full dolls clothed appropriately for their time period, and lots of rag dolls). I never had the courage to try a Waldorf style until now. I know it is time consuming and I will likely make mistakes but your video is so helpful! It is a great kindness to share your knowledge.
Astrid, this video is excellent! The rhythm is perfect and you explain the process in such simple terms. My first one from your online class just has to be sewn together but I want to make a second baby and couldn’t remember how to do her head 🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️. So Astrid, thank you for your time in making such a clear, concise video. 🤗😘💕 Randi
Thankyou for the wonderful tutorial! What brand and weight is that thread you are using? And are those chalk sticks or oil pastels you are using for the blush?
Hello! I've been loving all the Waldorf Doll adds that have been on fb, they are so expensive and the thought came to me I wonder if I could try to make my own?! So excited to try!

Hi nice to meet you :) I have got to say I loved watching your videos on making this cute little doll, so interesting from start to finish, thank you for sharing your awesome talents with us all :) I can't wait to watch more of your tutorials :) love your sense of humour, funny little comments as you were making the doll ..."like giving birth only feet first" lol when you were pulling her legs out from the body, made me smile and I thought how true :) keep up the great work, really enjoying what you show :) thank you again :) have a lovely day, stay safe and well :) magz :)

Hi there, it is easier to first trace the pattern pieces and then sew them. Strange that your marker bleeds. You could use chalk but that is not that precise. Maybe if you draw with a normal drawing pencil and stitch close to that line inside.

Just wondering if you can insert the arms inside the body like you do with the legs so that they’re more secure?
You can. Just a little bit more work.
you can but the way they move or hang will be more static
❤I’m having trouble finding white angel fabric for the skin. Is it known by another name?
Love love love thanku and I purchased this patern off your etsy shop
Fantástico, gratidão. Lindo demais
This is a wonderful video but am not sure how the eyes are embroidered . do you bring the thread horizontally across the eye?
Hi Astrid! I have just found your videos and am about to give it a try! In this video, I see you used the same material for both head and body. But other doll skin fabrics have “light” and “heavy “ for doll/head material. What do you recommend?
I like to use only the heavy material. two layers over each other can cause problems so i avoid doing that.
Thanks! I just ordered supplies and am eager to begin. Thank you again for your wonderful videos. I love them.
👏😘bedankt voor je duidelijke uitleg superrrr!🙏🏻

Great work. I designed a doll. do you do freelance,
also I bought a air erasable marker but it bleeds on my fabric and doesn't disappear. Any other suggestion of what I can use to trace and mark my fabric?
Hi there, it is easier to first trace the pattern pieces and then sew them. Strange that your marker bleeds. You could use chalk but that is not that precise. Maybe if you draw with a normal drawing pencil and stitch close to that line inside.
excelent job!
