I worked with Lee Andrews in St Thomas at the Frenchman's Reef in 1980. He was truly a great entertainer as well as a great gentleman!
Ahhhh the great Lee Andrews, singing an all time top-10 doo wop classic.LOVE IT!
Rest In Peace, Arthur Lee Thompson, you will be missed and thank you Harvey Holiday for inviting Lee and his Hearts to this live show at PBS-NJ23 in the early 1990's, and my last time hearing and seeing one of the best male singing men out of Philly PA. I am there singing along and holding his album-Greatest Hits on Lost Night Records in my lap, and my entire family were there with me. 3/17/2016-Sad news and many teardrops shed. We are all blessed to have his recordings making his voice and memory live forever.
...love watching folks in the audience singing along...a number of years ago I was in the lumber aisle of a local Homey D and there was a guy behind me singing this song...good voice too...
Best lyrics of all Doo Wop songs in my opinion! I sit in my room looking out at the rain!My tears are like crystals they cover my window pane! Wow!
Rich Krassen 🎼I’m thinking of our lost romance and how it could have been. Only if we only could start over again🎼
Terrific voice and stage presence. R.I.P.
Thumps up to all the couples in the audience feeling it.You could see the nostalgia and joy in their faces as the song is being sung.
Ohh yeah, and 'Mo meta blues' brought me hear.

Reminds me all These Dudes, Including Pop, had it made in the shade in the 1950's.
Sharp Dressed Men singing will never get old.
Lee is around 65 years old in this video. That's fifty years after he made this great soneg "Teardrops." Doo-Wop, the geatest sounding music to one's ear."
Incredible song, and Lee A. RIP
What a super group!!!
They gave me so much joy since the 50s
Lee Andrews and the Harts... fabulous. Lee and Willie Winfield of the Harptones in my opinion were emblematic of everything good about Doo Wop music.

Gotta love do-op! I remember my grandma had an old copy of Lee Andrews & the Hearts but the album cover had 2 women and a handsome guy...I think it was from the 70's. We played it on an old record player and the songs were really cool. I wish I could find a Cd of it today?...
