- For the main show on day 6 of JoCo Cruise 2024, Sierra Hull followed Vance Gilbert's set. Sierra (mandolin/vocals) and her band: Shaun Richardson (guitar), Avery Merritt (fiddle), Mark Raudabaugh (drums), and Eric Coveney (bass) wowed the audience. They were joined near the end by Vance for a bit of fun. Sorry about the camera movement right before the encore.

We'll be seeing Sierra Hull and Sammie Rae (at different shows) this year! Guess I need to check into Cory Wong, as he was born close to where we live.
@@SimchaGrallashe toured with Cory. Search for her and Cory Wong on UA-cam. The video with “tiny instruments” where the whole band has to play with instruments smaller than her mandolin is amazing.

The announcement that Sierra Hull was coming almost got me to change my mind about giving 2024 a skip. It turned out to really be for the best, and I really appreciate Simcha taking and sharing this for a bit of vicarious enjoyment!

Sierra rifts like a rabbit, sings like a bird, but the sweet sound she gets out of that beautiful Gibson is astounding.

@SimchaGralla That's it. Thank you! I've been listening to Sierra's music for many years. Crazy talented! She just gets better and better. IMO, current band is the best she's ever had.
