alternatively, he could have put that section into there last minute, after already getting that part of the video done. doesnt mean he isnt impressive though.
slugger glad is based off of scout from tf2, the bat from level 4-5 is the same metal bat scout uses, the boombox at the back resembles the Boston boombox carrier (I think that's the name) which is a cosmetic by scout in tf2
fun fact: at the max upgrade of slugger glad you can see the word "red" around it's bat resembling the red team in tf2

I've been playing since the Summer of 2019, and oh man, has this game been interesting. I managed to beat the SFOTH19 event, and the Area 51 event, the HALLOWEEN19 event, and the WINTER2019 event which all of them were actually decent, surprisingly enough. They had a mini-event for new years that same year, which included 3 party skins, and a firework emote. Later on, they had the Easter event, and then just a huge period that was empty.
Overall, I feel like this game has degraded in quality and is more about 'event skins' than actually providing some good updates or so. The events nowadays are extremely hard for people to beat and require hardcore towers that take an extreme amount of time just to get one of them.
This was a good video, it gave me a lot of nostalgia, and I wish you played in 2019, man that was no doubt the best year for TDS, and will always remain the best.
This is incredibly right, I only started playing TDS around a month before the Area 51 event, and god it was so much better. The game didn't have a dumb meta that you basically had to follow in order to beat events and such, almost all towers were used, and there weren't towers you had to either get with Robux or do a stupidly hard thing for. I can't lie and say that new tds isn't good, like I mean look at the new skins compared to the old skins. The quality is tons better. But I also can't lie and say I enjoy new tds more. Old tds had a feel that you can't replicate, even with the retro games, and in general was more fun.
new tds is still good though
Lol I remember playing during the rocketeer update and if you wanted the gladiator you need a Mega Server for it, but the Area51 was pretty easy

Facts about skins: The Slugger gladiator is based on the Scout from TF2.
The bunny skins have a reference to easter (obviously).
The Toy skins are based off of plastic army figures.
The Mage Accelerator uses the Last Prism from Terraria.
Things you got wrong
Toy mini gunner is meant to be master chief and mage accel accels level 4 has the final mage armor in terraria

I have a story similar to yours, how I started the game in 2020 and didn't know hwta I was doing. Somehow, I managed to get my 2nd favorite bunny skin, bunny minigunner. I also got bunny scout. I wish i got springtime commander lol.

@@gamerits it is. it follows the exact description of the last prism. a rock that shoots beams dealing big boi dmg aswell as having a charge and a cooldown.. sounds right to me.

the john skin has a faster fire rate than the normal militant skin but I'm pretty sure that's just visual it also is super fast when you buff it much faster than the regular militant and its blatant that it sound and look faster I just don't know if its DPS is better or not could you try and figure out if the DPS is boosted or just the visual fire rate?

I want all the skins made prior to the Hardcore update (or a tower's remake) to be remodeled with the unique weapons and look they once had.
Like how Toxic Pyromancer used to have green flames and a cool looking flamethrower, or how one of the Minigunner skins had P90s instead of a minigun, and how the party skins are now super lame and somehow being even lazier than the color skins.

Cowboy is actually the last one with a premium that changed ur weapon, aka the redemption cowboy, also freezer and gladiator don't count since every skin they have changed their weapon

Just wanna note that the John Skin of Militant doesn’t have the ability, as the TOWER needs to be updated to get the ability, not the skin, as an example, Gladiator and Militant: Gladiator has a ability from default to all skins, as Militant doesn’t in any skins, INCLUDING THE JOHN SKIN. And that is just my point. And some such as Toy Rocketeer, and Doughboy Soldier used to be broken, and I don’t know why, however they were fixed. So can it just be that no one needs to worry about Militant’s John Return Skin Old Ability (Or MJRSOA for short)?
