1/72 Academy EA-18G Growler Build Series - Part 1: Intro and cockpit

This is the first video of a new build series featuring the 1/72 Academy EA-18G Growler. In this first episode I walk through the assembly and painting of the cockpit tub.
This kit is being build straight out of the box other than the decals.

Great start to the Growler, Ritchie! I had been looking at getting the Hasegawa kit, but your video convinced me to go with the Academy one. I've got the new Academy F-14A in 1/72, and it's a great looking kit.

Just a word of warning... a couple of parts in, I realize that it is a snap-tite kit. Still builds up really nice. That is why all the attachment points are so big.
It was a nice and simple build. The only issues I had was with the paint. But that is because I had to use enamels due to the specific colors I needed for this scheme.
