I had switch problem in my kettle. The indicator was always on, so I was used to operated from main switch board. Then I gone through ur wonderful n very well explained video, n I had successfully repair the switch.. Thank u very much and keep up ur good videoes

Very good repair .thank you i always use a ice cube tray to keep the screws separate so i can be put back in orignal place ,sometimes srews are of different sizes

Manufacturer of this Heater jug should keep both Negative and Positive wires and its connecting ends far away from each wire. In my Heater both wire protection plastic cover got melted and Jug stopped heating due to mixed current in its flow and whole wire connection with Home Electric plug was found un wrapped with its cover. Fortunately an old bottom plate with fitted its connection was available in Electrical shop and with same replaced that was perfect .

Their are also two sencers, one near the on/off swtich, and an other is at the bottom of the boiler, to secure from over heating. Spring of the swtich looks, not properly settled in its place.

Not a normal switch ,it is auto cut off ,if the lid remained opened the switch won't cut off after the water reached boiling point
